I just tried edge on Android. But I don't find any button to translate the full page. Or even auto translation.

I ask copilot how to enable it. But all the settings copilot tells me are wrong.. this is a bit annoying.

I looked into the settings and even when my language is set for example to English it doesn't translate.

Is this normal, edge android doesn't have translation?

Few weeks before Edge was working correctly about it

like when i press W from url bar autofill was just write web.whatsapp.com

or when press S then Studio.youtube.com

But now when i press some letter it just fill nonsense webpages like a website of i surf once.

Like whatsapp example it is not filling auto until i write web.whatsapp.c

as i sad it was works fine few weeks ago but now its just weird.

I was wondering if someone could create a very basic extension for me?

Looking to have an extension for 2 small date purposes:

1. Add days to date:

Input todays date as standard starting point and can adjust for a different date, then select a number of days to add to date e.g. 45days Date: 1st February 2025 Days to add: 45 Result 18th March 2025

2. Days between two dates:

Input two dates and produce the number of days between the dates Start Date: 1st February 2025 End Date 30th June 2025 Result: 149days

Not sure how easy this would be but I assume someone with programming skills could put together fairly easily.

If someone can help fantastic but if not, some advice where I could go would be appreciated.

I have a strange problem, and I'm not sure if it's normal. Yesterday, I wanted to use Edge for the first time, and everything was fine. Today, while playing around with profiles, Edge reset itself, and now, whenever I install a theme or an extension, it asks me to download a .crx file. No browser (not even Edge yesterday) has ever done this before. Is there a way to disable this behavior?

Had to factory-reset my pc for personal reasons, so I exported the file from Opera GX. Now, for performance I chose to switch to Edge, but I'm not able to import the passwords even when google and similar websites tell that I should be able to. What can I do?

Recently the volume control on x.com has stopped working in Edge for me. The mute/unmute button is still there, but the volume slider to increase/decrease volume is not. The slider is still visible in Chrome and Firefox. Is this a recent update? I have tried it in InPrivate mode with the same result. Any help?

For example, some websites won't show anything anymore. Take myTeamSpeak . When opening it in Edge, nothing will be shown. Opening it in other browsers don't cause any problem.

I am trying to change my default engine in Edge to Google.at but it won't work.

When adding a new engine there is a third input option (URL with %s, ...), where I don't know what to write into it. I also don't find anything in the internet.

Default is google.com but as I wrote, I would like to change it to .at.

How does it work?

After this update it appears Facebook isn't behaving as it should. Screen flickering and noticed right elevator bouncing around. Only the top post looks "normal", anything under is not. I disabled the always active extension thinking that was the problem but behavior stayed the same. Other sites seem OK.

Windows 10 - fully up to date - on Surface Go if that matters.

So where ever I click on, that weird typing indicator appears all the time, I cannot find a way to fix this, does anyone have an idea?

Per the title. When viewing a PDF in the latest stable version, the shortcut Ctrl-+ is double-assigned. Where's the fix?

If I press it to zoom into the document, it is suddenly turned sideways 90 degrees. Pressing it again rotates it another 90 degrees. The shortcut Ctrl-- (minus), however, only zooms out, it does not rotate page 90 degrees the other way. Madness.

Effectively, I can only zoom in four levels at once with the shortcut, otherwise the pdf is not the right way up.

All is fine with Ctrl-Mousewheel, that simply zooms in/out by one notch. No rotating nonsense. Why use the shortcut, then? Simple, it saves me taking my hand off the keyboard just for that.

Hi. Using Microsoft Edge. It seems whenever I'm online for a few hours, I get the little button with the heart telling me to Update, as seen below.

This happens ALL THE TIME--like, literally every session. Is this working as intended? What IS Browser essentials? Are they actually essential, or can I turn it off?

I don't like this reminder happening all the time. :/

My built-in camera (Mac) is mirrored correctly by default on every app and browser except for Microsoft Edge.

My employer has us using Edge only and I'm not familiar with all the settings. I don't see "flip" or "mirror" anywhere in there. Maybe I missed it?

On a Mac, in the camera setting itself, there is no flip or mirror settings because it's dependent on the program/app, or in this case, the browser.

I searched Edge extensions and only found one to mirror the camera, but it's for Google Meet only.

Is there any Edge setting or extension, either one, that will flip or mirror my camera?

I have an old computer (8+ years) with Win7 running Egde and I'm trying to transfer it to a new computer with Win10. I can't find a way to make it work.

Win7 Egde: Version 109.0.1518.140 (Official build) (64-bit)

Win10 Egde: Version 131.0.2903.146 (Official build) (64-bit)

-I've try syncing using MS account but on Win7 I got a script error(?)

-I've tried importing all the data to chrome but the chrome can't find the Egde for importing.

-I've tried importing all the data to Brave but it failed reporting file error(?)

-I've tried copy the default folder from the old computer to the new one but it didn't import the data.

What I MUST copy to the new computer is the Egde history, all other things (tabs, plugs, etc...) I can handle manually.

Estou enfrentando um problema ao utilizar o Microsoft Edge em chamadas pelo Google Meet. Ao compartilhar telas, minha chamada começa a travar bastante e fica impossível continuar na chamada com meu vídeo ligado. As pessoas até continuam vendo minha tela compartilhada. Em outros navegadores a chamada flui perfeitamente com meu vídeo em alta resolução, compartilhamento de tela e tudo mais.

Também, anteriormente, eu conseguia selecionar qualquer uma das minhas duas telas ao compartilhar a tela no Meet, mas agora só consigo compartilhar a tela que não está com a chamada em andamento.

Já verifiquei todas as configurações do navegador e do sistema:

• A aceleração de hardware está habilitada.
• O Edge está configurado para usar minha GPU RTX 2050 com alto desempenho.
• Meu sistema operacional e drivers estão atualizados.
• Permissões de compartilhamento de tela e janelas estão devidamente concedidas.

Realizei diversos testes, como redefinir configurações do navegador, limpar cache, habilitar flags específicas relacionadas ao WebRTC (edge://flags), mas o problema persiste.

Ressalto que com outros navegadores, consigo selecionar qual tela quero compartilhar e a chamada flui perfeitamente, isso indica que o problema é específico do Microsoft Edge.

Esse problema prejudica minha experiência de uso, já que frequentemente preciso compartilhar diferentes telas durante reuniões importantes no Meet, e o Edge é meu navegador principal.

Gostaria de saber se há uma solução definitiva para este problema ou se há uma atualização planejada para corrigir esse comportamento.

i hope this gets fixed, its the only current issue i have with it, the setting shows its defaulted to top but its at the bottom when you install and switching doesnt do anything

Trying to change my proxy settings. It tells me to go to settings and then advanced settings to get to firewall and proxy but advanced settings is literally not an option
