Hello, as the title says does anyone have a band 2 preferably in the EU but anywhere else is cool too
Hi, What happened to the Microsoft Band Unlocker app. The link is no longer valid.
Hi, anyone know if you can update the firmware on a band 2 to the one which includes the music controls?
How reliable is the payout system with GetProfit?
Adjusting the time on the band can only be accurate to minutes, always a few seconds away. Is there any way to accurately adjust the time on the band.
I recently found my old Microsoft Band 2. Accidently resetted it, now since the Microsoft Health/Band app isn't available i found a way by using Band Unlocker But the problem is it isn't reading my band!

OR Is there any other way to get my band working?
Hello Guys!
I just bought a used non battery function microsoft band, just to check how it works, how is the system and etc, but i cant but it up. When i press and hold the action button for a couple seconds, this screen pops up and i dont know how to start the OS.
Does anyone knows? Thanks!
Has anyone been able to find more current Smart Watches/Activity Trackers that would be comparable to the MSBand. I have been a day one user of the MSBand 2 and it still my favorite wearable. I love its body style, simple functionality, ability to respond to text messages, etc. and would still be using it if I could. I have been looking into an alternative but can't seem to find ones that really compare overall. I really just want to find one that has the band style rectangular display, and ability to not only see notifications and texts but also reply to them.
My grandad gave me his old band 2 but it was still connected to his phone. I was unaware that the service ended, so I reset it, now, it won’t let me continue without the app. Is there a way to get past the setup without the app? I am using an iPhone if that helps, any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!
Hi fellow Band gang. My strap made from thermal plastic elastomer silicone vulcanite, fell apart as per usual and I've tried to fix it but the cheap Chinese rtv stuff has degraded and turned into goo that won't set.
I've been thinking about a 3D printed cast for making a new strap for the B2 for some time now. Basically cut or peel off the old rubber nonsense MS chose for the strap. Protect the display and buttons and place the watch in the 3D printed cast and pour the silicone in it or do one side at a time with the display poking out the top of the cast unprotected.
Version 1.0 won't be pretty but hey beggars can't be choosers and it'll be a proof of concept anyway.
The idea came to me from my defunct Xiaomi Mi Band 2 fitness tracker. The old tracker oled screen died but i noticed cast lines on the [silicone?] strap and the idea came to me. The silicone or whatever this material strap is is still top notch and shows no sign of deterioration after about 4 years so why couldn't we make our own silicone or similar material strap using a 3D printed cast system.
What do you think of the idea?
Have you got a 3D printer to make a cast?
Do you know anyone like a student who could take on the challenge of making a cast for us?
I love my B2 and would love to see it carry on functioning for as long as possible.
Here is a video of the technique I'm talking about.

How to Cast Silicone Parts in 3D Printed Moulds. This one is really important as the maker has designed the mold with an internal cavity space which the Band strap has. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xv7kauml7I

Accidently deleted the interesting links I found...... :-(
Hey! It's been advertised multiple times here now, but we want as many people from this sub here as possible. The Discord is very active, and we are doing lots of development work on the Band devices. Here's the invite: Microsoft Band Community - Discord
Please I want a good Microsoft Band 2 to give or sell it to me??
...and starting to play around with it. How could MS pull the plug on this delightful piece of tech? The MS mind boggles.
Going to see if I can put it into demo mode with the software.
Loved my MS Band 1 and 2 like everyone here. The weak straps was frustrating. What I miss the most though was the horizontal text that allowed you to wear it on the inside of your wrist. I've had multiple Samsung smart watches, tried the Samsung Band, a Fitbit, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6, and even the Wyze band. None of them had the option to rotate the text from portrait to horizontal, ie portrait to landscape. Any ideas?
I had an MS Band 1 on launch and absolutely loved it. I lost so much weight. The thing seemed to be so damn accurate and I loved wearing it. I got the 2 and was heartbroken when Microsoft canned the health app.
I've got an Apple watch now but I'm not satisfied.
If I re-buy a Microsoft Band 2, I realise I'll have to bypass the setup process which is fine. But will I be able to sync my data to a graph of some sort? That was the most useful feature for me - to be able to have it plot my weight loss on a graph.
Thanks in advance.
It has been Four months since I built this custom strap. After all this time, the question is: Did it hold up?
Answer: No.
Longer Answer: It was working amazing until just today.

As you all may recall, I built this strap with aluminum reinforcement to protect the flex cables. One of them sheared where the Band 2 always fails. This did not seem to negatively effect my Band for two months. However, just today I found that this Band 2 would not connect to the computer and that it would not charge.
I cannot say for sure whether this is due to my mod or not. It's entirely possible that I'm experiencing another flaw in Microsoft's design but, I cannot be certain until I dismantle my watch.
My conclusion is that the strap material performed really well while the core did not, but that's okay. It beats the CRAP out of MK-I, haha, and MK-III will be even better!
Checkout the photos below for a detailed look at the watch.
