I just picked up a 'ran once' DBXL-E 2.0 and it shows. It looks like new other than the rear shock boots are torn, along with a couple of the driveshaft boots. Looks more like dried out and brittle is all. Should I just replace with stock or are there better alternatives?
With such a massive car I just wanted to make sure I'm doing everything correctly before going out for the first time. Just a few things I've heard mentioned in other posts but don't quite understand fully:
Drive pins comes loose? I should balance the wheels? Program the ESC and disable reverse?
The front body posts are quite difficult to get through the holes on the shell. Is that specific to all these cars as I didn't see a method of adjustment there.
I just don't want to cock anything up the first time out and would rather be extra prepared. This is my first 5th scale and first Losi so new territory all around for me. If there's any tips or things a newbie with these cars should look out for I'd really love a little primer to get up to speed.
I'm trying to get it to the point where it can compete with 1/10th scales at my local track but i need to reduce weight and also get more traction. Also some stronger spindles that aren't aluminum would be nice
Aftermarket seems to have finally caught up, just got a few different motor/esc options in the mail. I’ll rebuild again since this one is a pre-aftermarket hodge-podge lol
Is there any esc and receiver combo that works for the micro b that is not the stock one. Mine broke and they are on back order until who knows when and I would like to use my micro b so if anyone knows anything lmk I would like to keep the stock motor if possible
I got a new motor and a new battery but yet the motor still won’t turn over any guesses as to what is wrong it’s not the battery or the motor and my next guess is the esc but who knows any help would be greatly appreciated
I am hoping losi drops more micros before Christmas. The bigger stuff is cool and all but I like the micro stuff.
I want to buy some upgrades for my sbr 2.0 and I don't what upgrades to buy, can someone help?
Hi folks,
I bought a Losi Micro-B as my first foray into re cars. However, l've heard horror stories about included chargers and how bad they can be, so I went to my local hobby store and they had me pickup a Prophet Sport Mini charger (https://www.horizonhobby.com/ product/prophet-sport-mini-50w-multichemistry-charger/DYNC2030.html). However, the adapter they sold me doesn't look like it will fit my Micro-B's battery (it is a two prong adapter). What should I be using to safely charge my Micro-B?
Anyone have this problem with their micro b. Just got mine a few weeks ago and already the motor won’t turn over but the wheels still turn I started to try and email horizon hobby and they might think it’s the battery going into lvc?
Finally got my BD pro, my friends already have theirs so i decided to join the club!
A buddy of mine and I are trying to get a hold of these. Seems like everywhere says next shipment March 2025. Anyone finding them not price gouged?
I got my work cut out for me bringing this back to life! Runs and drives but need to tweak the electronics a bit and replace some parts but I'm super happy
Does anyone know if they is anywhere put there to get a new steering linkage for my truggy. Seems like most of the parts a guy would actually need has been long since discontinued and I would like to have this truggy running again.
Anyone have any ideas when they'll be in stock? Horizon says next shipment is in march?
I really love the buggy but I can’t find any parts for the it. I know some parts are compatible but idk wich ones are compatible. I need help please!
