Question.
I have a losi yellow ford truck. Was trying to run it on 3s for out “open” class but never could get it to go straight. Finally decided to run it in our “box” class on 2s and running into some issues. It’s fast on 2s and first race it was fast and won. But every pass it goes into like a limp mode right after crossing the line. I can turn it off and then back on and it’s back to full throttle. Motor is warm but not overheated. Does the esc need to be changed to accept 2s instead of 3s possibly? Batteries all still have 80+% after each run. I’m not sure what brand batteries they are at the moment but they work perfect on my other cars. Am I missing something basic or could I have a serious issue brewing?
Thanks
Did anybody ever heard of the name little shaker it's a 1966 Nova I know someone that owned it supposedly
I have a dr10 with a castle mamba sidewinder 3 combo. I’m trying to run it on 3s. What spur and idler gear could I use to have good torque and speed? Thx
I need to apologize to everyone in this community. It seems my last profile was compromised and someone had posted Luude pictures along with my avatar. My deepest apologies to everyone here.
Working on something special, stay tuned.
I'm new to RC drag racing and my friend and I have picked up Traxxas Drag Slashes. We're doing 2S no prep races, stock motor and ESC. So far my best time is 2.7 seconds (down from the mid 3s) with proline tires and some weight adjustments. I'm curious what the ideal tires for this scenario would be, and also what is a really good time to aim for.

Just got done building a custom Drag Slash for a customer of ours. Carbon chassis, DRK RS ESC and a GK Tuned 3.5t motor. Voodoo tires front and rear.
She Rips!
Need help with drag setup anyone still in this community?
Anyone from the Topeka Kansas area who can tell me where they hold RC Drags?
Bought a marketplace special to get my feet wet and it’s become a full on belly-whacker dive in. This is after replacing the empty stock rear shocks with GTRs with stiff springs, a bit of throttle timing through my FS NB4 pro, and a 1 second dry burnout. Ran on a coarsely paved country road, with fine storm debris littered around (there was a tornado yesterday in the next town over here in upstate NY).
I shall return tomorrow with numbers from prepped tires and no slipper.
Got everything setup, got my GNSS all figured out. Made my first hit and was quite pleased. 2s, vxl bandit lcg conversion. My 2nd hit didn’t go as planned. Not sure time as it didn’t register but broke a few things and ended the day for my car. Oh well, fix and try again.
Hey everyone, so I’m looking into getting into rc drag racing and I need some advice on what to do.
I have a Traxxas bandit with the vxl combo but i feel like I could get it to run faster. Any esc and motor recommendations that would make it far faster than the vxl system?
And gearing recommendations would be a big help (currently using the top speed gearing for the bandit)
Recording drag runs and EEE!
gotta few drags that’s RTR with your battery! carbon fiber and LCG chassis cars lmk!
So I’m looking at getting into rc drag racing. I’ve just finished 10 years racing junior dragster and can’t quite yet afford a full size race car. The club near me has very specific ruling on what I can use. I can use either a drag slash, losi 22s or a dr10. I have to keep the stock motor from them. For the losi and the drag slash you have to keep stock gearing (dr10 has a couple ratio options due to less power). And as standard a 2s lipo charged to 8.44v is all that’s allowed. I will probably get a drag slash to use. I did think instantly about changing the esc but the ones I’ve researched wouldn’t work with the stock motors. Any ideas on how I could get faster with the car?
Hey does anyone know of any rc drag racing in Adelaide? Keen to get into it but can't find anything in Adelaide. I've asked the local rc stores but they don't know either. I see every other state has competitions and regular meets but S.A has nothing as usual 😒
So my uncle is into drag racing. I went to a race with him over the weekend and thought it was the coolest. I’m looking to buy my first car. Any advice on manufacturers or motors. I don’t need to be the fastest out of the box but I don’t want to be the slowest either.
I am building a Traxxas slash I need help with gear ratios I am running a 4.5 turn motor, so a 9300 KV motor I’m just wondering if you guys could help me with that please and thank you
