Its not the greatest but looks good from a far lol 😆
Hello everyone. After having lots of fun with a tt02 rally I would like to get into drifting. I have heard of no drift track near where I live. The lack of a dedicated place to play means I am looking for a 1/24 for its portability to play indoors in car parkings and any smooth surface I can find.
The 2 paths I have searched I could go about are:
Get a miniz and change the differentials having greater reliability and parts from a well established platform
Get a k989 drift tires and a gyro and also mod the front.
Path 1 has its limitations on upgradability while with path 2 after upgrading the electronics I would eventually need to move on a hobby grade chassis.
Considering I don’t know if I will move to a hobby grade chassis or a bigger scale which option would you suggest? Both can be bought locally for me. Looking to spend <400€ so if you know any other path within eu would love to hear.
Thanks in advance
Getting the tune down on the DDSS/LTS. Really getting the hang of this again haha 😄
Does anyone know what this red aluminum piece is meant for? This is from the MST RMX Carbon Chassis Deck Set and it was part of the battery mount bag. It’s not even listed as a part in the list on the instructions. And doesn’t seem to be part of the spacers either.
Hello all, So I would be new to rc drift but I am not new to building. I am looking for a solid chassis to start off with (or full list of suggested aftermarket parts for a complete 1/10 build as I am not afraid to build it from nothing and know I may ultimately save money building it this way.) I am interested in the Yokomo brand but throw me suggestions please! Thank you for your time and help in replying.
In short: Got the car (with only torsion rods), need better suspension, would like to be better than the shock kit specifically for ldrc, willing to take the effort, any advice/experience?
Below this I just yap about my experience with AE Choice RC toys store, bought by using a huge discount with coins on aliexpress, on the listing with only miatas.
Recently I got the LD1804 Miata (pink/salmon color) and unfortunately it didnt come with the shocks installed. I dont think any salmon coloured ld1804 has come with shocks. As majority choose blue miata, Im speculating that the blue models are more circulated and fresh. Probably not true but I do recommend others to choose baby blue color over the pinkish salmon if you dont mind it. Remote was also really scratched up (lots of people who chose same option as me had scratched remotes), box already opened and closed with a single tape, dusty wheel housings, honestly felt like it had been for showcasing and then they boxed it up and sold at discount, not manufacturing/factory packing issues. Maybe thats just what buying with huge discounts with coins does.
Sorry about the rant but idk where to spill it all out.
Anyways any crazy idea is welcome but please be full with details so i can try it out. Im looking for some tunability too and I dont mind if its super wonky like a pen spring around a screw (just an example, im not serious).
Thanks for reading ^^
Question for those running LEDs connected to magnets for the power supply. How do you keep the magnets from losing its magnetism? I've tried it before and the magnets got hot and absolutely killed them. What's the trick?
May I get some pictures of your front/rear link and suspension setups? RMX Orlet….
Per request with no music all boost noises haha
Just wanted to share the event around help out my home track
Hi All.
Looking to get a beginner kit.
Best to be ready built.
Narrowed down to
yokomo rd2.0 or MST RMX 2.5
Any suggestion to trusted decent shops (reading area) or sites to buy from in the UK if it’s better to get shipped from US could see about that also.
Thanks in advance.
Just a quick question, does these programmers work on Apple Macbooks at all? or are they strictly windows
