Cross rc nt6 cantilever suspension.

Thinking of getting the nt6. Then converting it to cantilever and taking off the bed. Like that one youtuber did. Is there anywhere i can purchase a set of get the files for the parts. Or should i design my own?

First Snow

Got the first snow of the year so of course I had to bash around the back yard a little bit before it got dark.

Help a guy decide (before BF sales end today)

I've finally convinced myself out of the SCX6 through the advice here, it's just too easy to run

So in the 10th scale market, between the SCX10.3 Base Camp FCX10 LC80 Redcat Ascent Fusion

I've got lots of RC cars in every category to drive - even custom TLT based kits I made back in the day

But now I just want something that's reliable out of the box that I can maybe throw a body on later, the brushless aspect of the fusion attracts me, and at some point I would probably dress it up to look a little scale

Considering these three are essentially the same price right now, is it better to start brushless and scale dress later?

Father son combo?

So I ordered my almost 7yr old the redcat ascent 18 on Thanksgiving thanks to all the praise from the community. It hasn't even shipped yet and I am realizing, of course I'll need one too right? Of course! The Question: 1/18th and 1/18th Or 1/18th and 1/10th Is it more fun to both have the same size or for us together to have one of each size?

Both the same means challenges are equal and fair. But it might be cool to have something bigger at times.

Mine will be completely not rtr and will also likely spend more time in pieces than on the rocks as I am tinkerer.

What do the parents here have to say? And thanks ahead!

Axe r3/540 2300kv vs Fusion Pro 2300kv

I purchased the axe r3 combo on the pre Black Friday sale from hobbywing and was able to get it for $118, smoking deal. I can get the fusion pro for about the same price. I’m building a 1/10 crawler on the Scx10.3 platform, which one would you guys prefer?

I know the fusion pro is a little lighter, but the axe r3 has a much better esc. I also use an Nb4+ so I can use the ibus2 features of the axe r3 also. I like the idea of 8.4v bec on the axe, and the simple install of the fusion. Any insights would be great, can’t find many videos/reviews on the axe r3/r2 combo.

Got on some alu-portal axels and 144mm tires today🤭

Also upgraded to a 30kg axel'mounted servo😀

Is there anyone else who runs large tires or even larger on a 1/10 crawler?😀
