I think one of the things that separates issei from most harem protagonist is him not being the stereotypical goody two shoes. He has actual personal desires that aren’t only dedicated to one girl nor does he ignore their advances towards him either most series like to label themselves harems yet most of them make cliche Mc unlike issei.

just humor me on this one, we pretty much know 3 or 2 years ago in the dxd timeline, Kuoh Academy is previously all girl school right, that only change the time Rias manage to find/reincarnated kiba into a devil, and because kiba is a guy, the gremory family, force to change the school to all girl school in to boy and girl school, and because of that reason, what if Rias didn't find kiba in time to reincarnated him to a devil or kiba been born to as a girl, and because of it Issei, is not going to enroll in Kuoh Academy, because it's still, a all girls school, and without issei enrolling in Kuoh Academy, Rias didn't reincarnated issei into a devil, Issei didn't manage to rescue asia, Rias force to accept the arranged marriage, and all the three faction is still in in cold war, well what did you think this is accurate or just a extremely idiocy, anyway i love to see your thoughts in this question of mine,

I just finished season 2, The story is decent enough to be serviceable Imo but nothing special. Correct me if Im wrong but I feel like the harem/ecchi elements are the main attraction for most everyone right? Well is there ever any payoff? Im not expecting it to go full on hentai but it could definitely stand to go farther. I mean he cant even get to actually touch anyone just like the side of his arm being in the middle of their chest when they grab him or stuff like that. and my god the cockblocking is getting annoying. Its not even comical anymore because you just expect it every time.

Im watching the special episodes now and though its just short fan service its so much better. We get full on uncensored groping and motorboat scenes. He even gets to lick cream off her boobs. I know its not the authors fault blah blah and like I said im not expecting like a sex scene but other similar series get away with doing alot more so I'm just asking does it ever change? Does he ever get his moment or does the series always punk out when any real payoff is about to happen?

Because if the whole series is just cockblock interruptions stopping him for some reason and it never goes farther than him feeling boobs only from hugs I dont think the story itself is worth me continuing with no payoff

I’m just now starting volume 18 and I really want to see a date with Isse and Rias, maybe a little similar to Akeno and Isse’s date. They reference it a little at one point but just haven’t revisited it.

Honestly it feels like ever since Isse and Rias “officially” started dating there’s been minimal interaction and development has stagnated between the two of them, so it’s a little disappointing.

And I guess I’d appreciate an answer with minimal spoilers if possible lol

I was confused about and looked through the wiki and found that in Wiki it states “Gasper's Forbidden Balor View has a portion of the consciousness and power of the original Balor residing in it as a result of a young Valerie Tepes unconsciously making use of the Holy Grail to summon and place him into Gasper.”

Hey fellow DxD fans, I’ve been reading Fanfiction and TBH I didn’t care much for Fanfiction at first. Mainly due to being too boring, OCs’, Ise Hatedom. (I don’t hate Issei, but there are worse characters than him) and Worst of all, Self Inserts’. But thanks to a Particular YouTuber, a Graphic Novel and Rapshaw’s Story, I’ve became a little open minded. When I read Rapshaw’s story, it was a work of art, not only did he fix everything from that one Scene, he made it better. He captured the personalities of the characters’, he added more depth to them all. Not only that, he did what TNK couldn’t do; Pay attention to the source Material. It was a nice touch to make Issei a Little more sensitive than he lets show. And best of all Rapshaw solved DxDs’ biggest problem, the Pacing. It was done so well, that some of us (like me) consider it Canon and I’ll die on that hill. In his “Half Fallen Angel” story he made Ise call Akeno his Favorite. I knew that was him (Rapshaw) saying that but it was intentional because he was going somewhere with that line. When it was Rias’ Honeymoon he made Issei tell her that even though they’ve been together longer and the Top Wife, she couldn’t be his favorite. Because he knew it wouldn’t be fair to the other girls (mainly Asia because she considers Rias a Rival) and as a Harem King, he has to love all the women in his life Equally.

I mean potential wise these 2 might be even stronger than the true Longinus these 2 literally have the 2nd strongest dragons in history only behind Great Red And Ophis.If given enough time these 2 can make it's wielder extremely dangerous.Also Didn't it take the full might of the 3 factions to take down both draig and albion.

I was just listening to my music playlist and when one of the songs came up, my mind instantly thought of Raynare, so I ask, would Oblivion Eyes by Magnolia Park work for a Raynare AMV?

With Naruto, he want's to become hokage for respect and being hokage means to be the most respected ninja in the village. Asta wants to be the Wizard king to prove to everyone that just because your not born from a elite liniage you can achieve your dreams, Gon (HxH) wants to be a hunter to find his father, etc. Every protag has a goal for a REASON, it seems as though he has no real reason to get one.

But what does being "Harem king" mean to issei? Is it having the most girls? Quality > Quantity? To feel loved? There are a number of things that it could mean, but what do you think it means to him?

Hi guys! I'm writing a fanfict manga series where the dragon emperors like Issei, vali and saji team up with other 4 OCs and form a universe/space adventure outlaw crew called "dragon emperors". Where can I find a little bit more about their info so I can be true to their characters and not having to make them in my image as I see them? So far, I'm rewatching the series and getting familiar as much as possible but I bet, I missing important information from possibly the LN.

I'm trying to write a fanfic and I have ideas that I'd want to incorporate, but I can't make it in a way that it's lore-friendly and completely believable. Here's most of it:

1. The MCs are part of a three-generation family whose head and founder was experimented on by a magic institute that gave the family unique passive magics that made them feared. The magic must not be OP or fucking unbelievable like using void magic or having control of the Dimensional Gap.

2. The Seven Sages are the most powerful humans on the planet, but how are they inducted and what are the parameters to be a Sage? Can they use Authorities (like in Campione)? Are they just OP Magicians (like the Magic Gods from A Certain Magical Index)? Give more ideas please.

3. Touki has ranks. But what determines this ranks? And also, Taoist magics like in Cultivatior manhwas. But I don't want spells that shoots out rainbow beams from the eyes that can cut down the sun and moon. That's just too much.

4. The Church's magic system, not the one made by Merlin (who in my fic is the son of Asmodeus) because it'd be seen as heretical.
