The manga releases toward the end of the month (around the 22nd).
The Anime breaks off from the Manga at ~chapter 36.
Yes, you should read the manga and yes you should start from the beginning.
Will the anime ever get a second season? The answer is no. The anime left zero room for a continuation. The most we can hope for is for another studio to take a crack at it after the Manga finishes in a few years.

If he told Esdeath that he wanted to be emperor while he was on the island and that he would allow Esdeath to torture war criminals, wouldn't Esdeath accept it? As a result of a successful coup, very few people will die and almost everyone in the series will be happy.

Would people still like Esdeath if she had a body type similar to Mine?
Maybe I'm too high but an interesting question came to my head? Would people still like Esdeath if she was 5'0 and petite, but kept the same personality? I feel like a lot of people are just thirsty over boobs like in High School DxD. Also I feel like there aren't many female anime villains with a super petite body type in any case.
I'm curious to see what people think.

Chill out please, A new version of Akame ga Kill isn't a necessity, everybody will live fine. I know you all love Akame ga Kill, but it is so disrespectful to go under the author's posts to ask him for a new anime? The manga still exists, if you love it, read it. It doesn't need an adaptation to be good you know, the manga will stay the same even if there's a more faithful adapation.
Please, stop harassing Tetsuya Tashiro (I bet he doesn't have any control about an Akame ga Kill! remake) for this, share your love for Akame ga Kill! for what is is without being disrespectful.

Tbh leones death hit hardest for me, i usually don't cry watching shows or movies but hers brought a tear to a grown mans eye. And i don't understand it. Why didn't she tell anyone? why didn't she just heal herself using her Imperial relic? Why did she Die In a alley in the Middle of the goddamn slums? The part about this that really got me is that no-one will ever remember who she is and what she did for that country. I want to punch the writers and directors in the face I'm ngl. Anime vs Manga
So, since the series has ended either ways (i think so).
The manga or the anime, which one is worth my time better?
I have no issues reading manga or watching the show, except that the anime's animation is a bit old but that's not much of a problem either.
I am just getting in to Akame ga Kill, so which one should I go for?

The Unofficial Akame ga Kill Drinking Game
I'm sure there's some already floating around the internet, but I thought I'd make one that would also work for people who aren't familiar with the series. I made it so that it can work for any episode.
To explain the dynamic shots, it's basically the shots that have this water paint sketch style does a freeze frame or slow-motion effect, which occasionally happens throughout the series.
