I’d really like wood grips for my Tanfoglio Defiant compact. Will CZ 75 compact grips work? If not, does anyone know where I can find grips specifically for Tanfoglio compacts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Gen 1 Archon Type B
Recoil impulse on this thing is just different. It is such a flat shooter and tbh nothing comes close unless you're talking something with twice the weight.
The non tilting barrel, low bore axis, high tang on the grip, short run up the feed ramp, and the slight increase in weight make the Archon Type B platform ahead of it's time. It's stupid reliable and recoil mitigation feels effortless.
Highly recommend, it really does feel like a cheat code. My only gripe is the mag release doesn't inspire confidence with the factory mags, CZ75 mags however run flawlessly.
The plan now is to comp the barrel with a window cut on top of the slide to see what this platform can really do.
Any questions just ask..
How much would you charge someone for a brand new RED SCCY CPX-1 9mm ?
Bought a Glock 45 gen 5 MOS a few months ago and there seems to be a crack on the fde metal part (sorry don’t know the name of it but it’s 1/4 points of contact that the slide is on)
Just wanted to know if I’m all good or should do something about it. It’s a very small crack but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help new to Reddit.
i’ve been seeing all over that the supreme court deemed it unconstitutional to allow 18-20 year olds to buy handguns. is this something that goes into effect immediately or will i be 25 by the time 18-20 year olds can buy handguns from a gun store lol
I currently own a FNX45. I want to get my first 9mm. I have gigantic, huge, bear paw, baseball glove like hands. I’m a big dude, and my hands match. Like I put my hand in shaq’s handprint and it nearly fits. I chose the FNX45 because it was my best option about a decade ago. Now I want to get with the times and get a 9. I’d like some suggestions on 9mm pistols that have some meaty grips to fill my hand. Something that may be easier to conceal would be preferable but duty size is fine too. I care more about the right fit than easy concealment. Thanks in advance.
This was with my EDC, sig p365 xl, at 15 yards
Hey all! New-ish gun owner/enthusiast here. I put together this pistol (a SCT 43x frame and a brownells 43 slide)…the gap between the frame and slide is a bit more pronounced than other pistols I’ve made…will this cause an issue either short term or long term? Your input is appreciated!
Essentially while trying to find a pistol that met my needs I began to wonder if there is a website which shows handguns differentiated by calibers, capacity, optic footprint, manual safety, grip safety, etc.
(I was looking for a CCable 9mm pistol with a manual thumb safety, RMR optic footprint, and a capacity greater than 15.)
For both the Ruger LCP MAX and S & W Bodyguard 2.0, your only option is a trigger guard laser such as the Viridian or Lasermax. I've had difficulty finding a pocket holster for either of them that will work with a laser and don't like the soft Sticky type holsters. I would have liked to use a Vedder pocket holster for either of these pistols but Vedder doesn't make them for an LCP MAX or Bodyguard 2.0 that has a laser attached. Any suggestions (other than don't use a laser or get a IWB holster)?
As titled, looking to get either a Sig p320 or a Glock 17, have fired both and they feel comfortable.
Trying to figure out which would be better for someone like myself who enjoys tinkering and modding things?
Would the P320 be cheaper/easier versus the 17?
Glock 23 .40 with 2 mags and a 9mm Barrel included with hardcase its lightly used, trade offer for my 5.56 anderson. i dont need anymore handguns but would it sell for more than my anderson am15 with no attachments???
I didnt get my first handgun until last fall, and have really gotten into it. I wanted to get some input from the group on what I should add next
I'm not looking at buying just because I can, but wanting each addition to fill a void.
Since I have the single action 1911, I am thinking a SA/DA 226 or Beretta 92 is a decent next step.
So what say you?
Dan Wesson DWX Compact Optic Ready - CGW plate, RMR, Lok Gridlok Palmswell Aluminum Grips, Talon grip tape front and backstrap
To start, I have a few pistols and decent experience with them, but currently have nothing smaller than a .40.
I own smoke shops, and just opened a new one. The new shop is in between a decently busy restaurant to the right, and a Kids dance class to the left. Out front, through a triple pane window, is a busy street maybe 30 yards away, always full of cars. This is the only shop I have that isn’t a standalone building, so I’ve never even had a second thought about it.
I’m a little concerned that if anything does go down, it might end with unintended injuries/damages, since there isn’t a “clean” line of sight. What would you recommend?
Dropping in caliber? Would hollows be enough? Just trying to mitigate any possible future headaches or unintentional damage.
I’m a Berreta And Keltec fanboy (I know… and you can gargle my balls about it), so I’ve been looking at the tomcat 30x and keltec p32 as small caliber replacements for my carry pistol (p40). At least when I’m at that shop.
From their Facebook page
They don’t make the same tritium sights for the P2000 as the ones on my P30 and VP9. I installed meprolight tritium sights. I prefer a combat hold, but these are definitely not a combat hold. Can anyone confirm if they are a center hold or 6 o’clock hold?
New to handguns. Instead of asking which gun to get…I’d like to know which handgun should I avoid?
Any takers?
