Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to use it.
Don't point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.
Be aware of what is beyond your target.

At this point our civil rights are under fire. Be sure to contact your reps to let them know you do not approve of any further restrictions. Also do what you can to inform those who don't understand and be professional. Remember you are representing all of us.

GUN RIGHTS?
I'm looking to support a real gun rights organization. The NRA has left a bad taste in my mouth the last few years with compromise and buying Wayne LaPierre a mansion with our money. Who does everyone trust? Is there a better gun rights advocate or am I stuck sending money to the NRA? I just want to be sure my children and grandchildren someday have the right to keep and bare arms.

Gun confiscation
People make it a point to say they will gladly defend their guns if a nationwide gun confiscation occurred. That being said, nobody did anything when the NFA was signed in as well as the assault weapons ban. How would a modern assault weapons ban be different? Do you believe people would take up arms if a repeat of the assault weapons ban of the 90s took place? Why or why not?
