Live in VA and shoot in competetions. Couldn’t find a definitive answer on this question so thought I’d ask here and see if you guys have experience with this. Just turned 18 and my dad bought us a nice Sig P322 which we’ve built out a bit and is very obviously a competition pistol. Was wondering if it was legal for me to take it from our house to our range to train by my self now that I’m 18. NRA website says yes but just want to be sure so I don’t get in trouble with the law. Thanks.
Question on @Quora: What's less expensive than Riton Optics MPRD2, and will still work nicely on my wife's SCCY DVG-1 9mm? There is no pic rail or mounts of any kind that I'm aware of. https://www.quora.com/unanswered/Whats-less-expensive-than-Riton-Optics-MPRD2-and-will-still-work-nicely-on-my-SCCY-DVG-1-9mm-There-is-no-pic-rail-or-mounts-of-any-kind-that-Im-aware-of?ch=18&oid=204121896&share=45d94dc1&srid=3oZBZr&target_type=question
Dude owed me money, had no money, so this was his, and now it’s mine.
Nice and shiny Browning Hi-Power with gold plated trigger.
(Don’t be a degenerate gambler. You loose cool shit like this when you make poor decisions.)
Maybe someone or anyone could possibly help me out and let me know if it’s possible to buy a light trigger for the P22 pistol? If so where can I buy one? Walther website don’t have anything.
Just looking for some input for something to take fishing with me and out and about. Thanks for any input!
Hi, where can I buy a used atlas pistol for a decent price?
Cz p10c with stream light tir 1 hl, rmr type 2, and the Herrington arms compensator full stock internals.
Haven't got to shoot this yet with the compensator just put it on tonight.
Does anyone know what would be the next low recoil pistol? Only asking, because I am disabled in a wheelchair. I’ve shot a .22 pistol and it’s got really light recoil. I got myself a P22 and I know it’ll have really low recoil too but just can’t shoot it because of heavy trigger so looking for a aftermarket trigger. Besides the point 😅 my question is, what would be the next low recoil pistol besides .22’s? Something that still wouldn’t fly out of my hands if even possible lol. Would someone be able to help me out? Thanks!
Hello all,
My girlfriend wants to start shooting, and she's particularly keen to try pistol shooting.
I've basically no pistol experience and she has never fired a gun in her life, so I'm going to get one for her to bring to the range and that I will occasionally use myself when going to the indoor range.
Looking for a balance of price, modularity, and shooting experience.
Doesn't have to be a race gun, but something that is enjoyable for trying to be semi-serious about accuracy when having a non-competitive time at the range.
Preferably in 9mm or smaller, but not .22. No considerations needed for self defence. Revolver or automatic are both options because the enjoyability in shooting is the main concern and both can be fun.
Really just want to pick up something that she can become comfortable with in terms of handling, safety, and then having a fun time slinging lead downrange.
She's got big hands. But like, not in a weird way. Just that no need for a compact or anything as it wouldn't offer any advantages as far as I can see lol.
Like the idea of various .380 pistols but that ammo is rare as hens teeth where I live lol but if the pistol is particularly cheap then it could be worth it!
Essentially, a trainer that opens the door and offers preparation for getting into more serious time spent at the range. Maybe even competitive (non-olympic) shooting. If that makes sense?
Hence the no .22, as in my experience with rifle shooting, it's not good preparation for later shooting with full rifle calibre rounds. Instead being a really fun shooting experience to have alongside full bore shooting (though if that doesn't apply here, fair enough!)
Thank you for your time.
I'm looking to get more into AK's with the sheer amount its used near me and its willingness to work in muddy, and dusty environments. So my question is what is the best AK pistol on the market. It will need a strong history of reliability and ruggedness. While being Crome lined and accurate. It would be a plus if it has trouble getting rusty, cheers.
Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy a pistol for CCW. I’m looking for something smaller/compact, can pack a punch, low maintenance, and easy to zero in. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA.
If it wasn't obvious, the hellcat is the EDC. No way I'm schlepping this 45oz-ish (loaded) beast around every day.
Would grip tape work on top of a hogue grip? I got big hands... I'm 6'6"
How to prevent pistol mags from falling out
Im struggling with my mag release getting caught in the holster and ejecting my mag on my CZ-P10. Any tips on how to make the mag stick better?
My carry pieces plus the training pistol. Canik TP9, Sig P365, Keltec P17, and a Ruger LCP
I just recently got a PMR-30 and I love the way it feels but I wish it was a center-fire. I'm curious if there's a pistol out there in anything from .380 to .45 with similar ergonomics. I'm fine with it using single stack magazines. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
I'm a lefty, that's how I shoot rifles and shotguns but if I got a single action revolver would I get a left or right holster to draw from
I'm looking to buy my first pistol and i need some guidance. I do a lot of solo camping and I've had some encounters with coyotes and wild hogs so im looking for something that can use on these trips as well as for regular day conceal carry. I'm not in an area with bears or larger animals so with the research that ive done a 9mm will probably get the job done. My budget is about $600. I was looking a the glock 19 but there are so many variety's it can be confusing. So if you guys have any suggestions it would be extremely helpful
I have build my rifle and was wondering what would be a good pistol to start out with. I have bigger hands and were looking at sigs but don’t know how f there are better options. Budget isn’t necessarily a problem(<$1300).
I have noticed in many gun reviews/ teardowns for the bodyguard 2.0 there is an engraved W on the inside of the slide located under the barrel. Mine does not have this engraved symbol; does anyone know what it means with or without the engraved symbol? This picture is of my particular gun slide for reference.
Thanks
I was super excited for this firearm. I wanted a hi power clone without paying the huge price. Just after unboxing I took the firearm out back to shoot. Almost every shot it would lock back on full magazines. I fire approximately 200-300 rounds through it firing two handed, one handed, and off handed all with the same experience. After a while I wouldn’t go into battery either. I cleaned, oiled, and tried again with the same experience.
I took the firearm back to the shop I bought it from where they sent it back to the factory. I got it back 2 weeks later and the shop informed me that there was nothing wrong with the firearm. I had other people shoot the firearm with the same experience. I ended up out of money and gave it back to the shop for a trade for a less of value firearm.
I was very disappointed. Not only in the reliability of the firearm but also, the experience of Inglis stating there was nothing wrong.
