This is a steal right? I’m just looking for something to play the new warhammer and my girl to play sims on - what could I expect from this performance wise to a monitor?
Thanks!
I’m looking to purchase the Lenovo Legion 7i, but they’re still so expensive even with all the cyber sales, bruh.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to buy a Legion 7i from an international seller, or if someone in a place where the laptop is cheaper could potentially purchase it on my behalf and ship it over?
This may be dumb, but any chance to save some money, I will.
Has anyone done something like this? What’s the best way to go about it, and what should I be aware of regarding shipping costs, warranty issues, and potential customs fees?
I'm in the market for a new laptop and the marketing/navigability in the gaming laptop space makes me feel like I'm going insane. So many different buzzwords and marketing phrases make it really difficult to find what I'm looking for, so hoping the folks here might be able to help out.
I am a multimedia producer by profession and a 3D artist by hobby, so I'd love for my next laptop to have a really high-quality, color-accurate screen (something in the 1440p range would be great). I'm a huge Tekken junkie, so I'd also love my new laptop to be able to run Tekken 8 reasonably well (don't care about post-effects and stuff, just need low latency and clean 60fps). 144hz refresh rate would be awesome, but I think 60fps could satisfy my laptop gaming needs just fine while I'm away from my desktop rig. Can anyone recommend something with a great screen that can run modern third-person action games or render out some 3D animations at a decent clip?
Im planning to upgrade my RAM, is single 32 gb will have the same performance compared to 2 sticks of 16gb ?
Hi recently i saw that first dl has good price on epic games(3.60$) My laptop has ryzen 5 7520u and amd radeon 610m , 16 gb ram so can it run dl well?
Looking to pick-up a laptop today before I leave for a work trip tomorrow. I guess I don't need it but I want it, if the deal makes sense. Primary use will be for content watching, web browsing, light audio and video editing, and gaming on the go. I currently play BO6 as the most intensive game I would play. Battery life does not matter as I would be plugged in and playing at a hotel most of the time. Unfortunately, I have to lug my work laptop with me as well so size/weight could be a factor when traveling with two laptops in a backpack/carry on. My work laptop is a Lenovo Yoga x13 for reference.
These are the following laptops I'm looking at best buy open box. My top end budget is $1,500.00 but hoping to come in under that.
If these deals are all bunk and you suggest I hold off/order something to be delivered for the next work trip, I am good with that! TIA
Hello i did flash my 95w rtx 3060 gpu to 140w ,but i have a problem with cpu. if gpu wattage increase while playing any game ,cpu frequency suddenly drops to 800 MHz and instant stuttering is occuring.Anybody knows any fix about it ?

I unfortunately own a MacBook as it was a gift from my mother that I couldn't refuse. For this reason I am unable to play games that I have always wanted to play. I've had to resort to cloud gaming services all this while. Since we're in the black friday season, I was wondering if there are any good deals on good gaming laptops that I could purchase. I know that £600 isn't much but I'd rather not spend a ridiculous amount of money on my first gaming laptop. I do not know much about pc's and gaming laptop's but please feel free to drop recommendations.
Hey everyone!
After a long wait, I’ve finally saved enough to buy a gaming laptop! 🎉 I'll be using it for both work and gaming. Budget: $1460 (Prices converted from INR to USD)
I’ve got a few dilemmas and need your advice:
Is this the right time to buy a gaming laptop? With 50-series GPUs coming next year, should I wait or go for it now for best pricing?
Intel processor issues: I heard about earlier problems, but apparently, there’s been a patch. Is everything resolved now?
I also found a local store selling pre-owned laptops with minimal or no usage, some with up to 6 months of warranty. The deals are tempting, but I’m torn between these options:
HP OMEN 16 Core i7 14th Gen 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX 4070 $1400
Lenovo Legion Pro 5 Core i7 14th Gen 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX 4060 $1400
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 Core i7 14th Gen 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX 4060 $1070
Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 (UK variant, no warranty in India) Core i7 14th Gen 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX 4070 $1080
Which one do you think offers the best value for money? Should I buy now or hold off until the 50-series GPUs are released and these 40 series laptop will be cheaper! Looking forward to your suggestions!
Comes at a total of 1577 after all discounts. Seems like a good deal to me but im not sure about the laptop itself.
Hey everyone Bought gaming laptop through laptops direct during the black Friday week. Delivery has been moved each day I log in. Originally 29 Nov to 3 Dec to 4 Dec to 5 Dec. Now 4Jan or later. Guess they took orders and payment before acquiring the laptop. Anyone else have similar issues. Blood
I have the 2023 Asus scar 18 along with a 4080. I'm currently running 3TB of storage in it, the dafult 1TB it came with and another 2TB Samsung 980 pro, I'm currently wondering what's the maximum storage it can support, from what ChatGPT said it's 8TB but I'm skeptical about it and from what I searched online I got no clear answer some ppl said 4TB max and others said 8TB
Of course it all needs to be internal storage and nothing external (I'm already using am external hard drive anyways and the ports aren't enough...)
Laptop requirements:
15.6 inch or less screen size
Can run BG3 and watch streaming services
Touchscreen
preferred budge $799 or less
Is this possible?
I need cpu and storage for virtualiziation but want to be able to game occassionally ( idc about lowering settings)
Also prefer AMD CPU.
It's eBay btw and when I scroll down I see 10 have already been sold and I'm like what's happening idk... Would you gamble?
I'm more asking in general, because the two laptops I'm looking at have basically the same specs. I keep hearing that the Victus is good, but only as a budget laptop, but people seem to genuinely like the TUF. What's the build quality difference? The Vctus is bigger so it's obviously going to be a little heavier, what does it feel super bulky in comparison? The TUF has all sorts of stuff like Ghelper that lets you fiddle with all kinds of things so does it have better peak performance or better peak battery or something? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

would anyone be able to recommend me a decent gaming laptop for under 700 pound I've been having a look at a few but would like others opinions.
Hi all, I am trying to purchase a laptop that will have the ability to run photoshop easily as well as other general tasks. I am trying to find a good cyber Monday deal and was leaning toward the lenovo legion 7i and 5i pro (e.g., the deal below). Is this is a good choice / any other deals I should be aware of?
So far so happy with it. Got like 3 BSODs but I was able to install drivers to fix the issue
HP Victus 16: AMD Ryzen 7-8845HS, RTX 4070, 512 gb storage $879.99
Lenovo Legion 5i: i7-13650HX, RTX 4060, 1 TB storage, $879.00
Lenovo LOQ 15: AMD Ryzen 7-8845HS, RTX 4060, 1TB strorage, $829.99
Thanks

I'm torn between the Legion 5 and the Lenovo LoQ. The Legion 5 offers a solid build quality but an older chipset, while the LoQ has a newer chipset but a less robust build. Which one should I choose, prioritizing performance or durability? Ultimately, I'm looking for the best value for my money. Which laptop would you recommend?
Am looking for a budget gaming laptop. This will be my first gaming laptop as I currently use GeForce now on a 12 year old hp, but it’s on its last legs so looking to upgrade. Currently on sale and also a coupon code gets an extra ~£40 off. Here are the details:
Processor: 12th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-12450HX Processor (E-cores up to 3.10 GHz P-cores up to 4.40 GHz)
Graphic Card: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU 6GB GDDR6
Memory 16 GB DDR5-4800MHz (SODIMM) - (2 x 8 GB)
Solid State Drive 512 GB SSD M.2 2242 PCIe Gen4 QLC
I’m new to the gaming laptop world so any opinions appreciated. Thanks.
Hello everyone,
I’m having an issue with the scaling of my external monitors on Windows and I hope someone can help me.
My setup consists of an HP Omen 16-k0950nz laptop and two external MSI Optix G241-013 monitors. Everything is connected via an HP G5 Universal Dock. The problem is that the scaling on the external monitors, even when set to 100%, is still way too large. I’d like to set the scaling below 100%, but Windows doesn’t allow this by default.
What I’ve already tried:
NVIDIA Control Panel:
Intel Graphic Settings:
Manual Adjustments in programs:
I’m at a loss and urgently looking for a solution to set the scaling on the external monitors fully and permanently below 100%. Are there any tools, registry tweaks, or other methods that I might not be aware of?
I’d be very grateful for any tips or suggestions!
Thank you in advance!
So, my friend have an asus tuf f15 fx506hcb with i5 11th gen, 8gb ddr4, 3050 4gb, 48wh battery, and 180w charger.
One day the laptop just refuses to turn on, even after my friend made sure that battery is at 100% before bringing it to campus. Then after being plugged in, laptop turns on normally but the battery indicator shows at 0%. Oddly enough after being charged to approx. 15%ish, the battery jumps to 100%, then i unplugged the power adapter and battery discharges normally until i think 83%ish and laptop starts to lag so badly and then immediately died by itself afterwards and back to 0% which is weird. So i performed calibration and the laptop finally able to be charged at normal speed and discharges normally, but a bit laggy than ususal when unplugged.
After 1 week or sumthing, my friend came back saying that the battery jumps like immediately just not even above at 7%ish then jumps to 100% immediately, then when i unplug the power adapter, laptop starts to lag like really bad and then windows shuts down by itself after few seconds of horrible lagging, then back to 0% again, i cant even properly calibrate the device since the battery just keep jumping from 7%ish to 100% immediately everytime i drain the battery to 0%
Does anybody know what exactly the problems are?
Problems aside, i ordered 90wh battery with same cable connection as the one being used in the laptop.

I play games mostly connected to a external monitor. I don't mind the size or loudness of fans as it will be sitting on desk for most of the time. I play GTA 5, cyberpunk, Helldivers 2 and Alan Wake 2.
