Honor 200?

Hi everyone! I would like to buy a smartphone to replace my Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro after 5 years of honorable service. I have a budget of €300/350 and I was thinking of getting an Honor 200. Are there any smartphones that are better overall than this one at this price? In case I gladly accept motivated advice! Thanks for the help!

honor 200 pro vs nothing phone 2

Hello, I've been wanting to buy a new phone for a while, but I can't decide which one would be better. I like nothings design and overall it seems like a decent phone, but I also was recommended Honor, its characteristics seem better than Nothing2. reviews r also very divided some say it's good some not, so I'm not sure yet which one is better. I need a phone mainly for large files, plus photography and gaming. if anyone has any opinion that will advise me which one is better for those needs I'll be very grateful. thanks in advance.

Recommended Android smartphone for Apple user?

I've generally stuck with Apple as I like their phone builds and OS, but lately their prices have become ridiculous, even for their SE model, and their practices are getting worse with each iteration. I'm considering switching to Android, however I trust google even less and I hate how most big brands ship their smartphones nowadays (bloatware out the wazoo and whatnot).

Ideally, I'd like a relatively simple phone and robust phone which looks alright and preferably has either a custom OS or the ability to install different one. The Fairphone 5 seems to tick all these boxes, though it's not supported in Australia. I was considering the CMF Phone, but it doesn't have NFC and the OS seems a little odd. Any other suggestions?

A55 or Honor 200?

Hi everyone! After 5 years I have to replace my Mi 9T Pro and I was considering purchasing one of these two smartphones (A55 or Honor 200). I've seen several videos but I can't convince myself. What do you recommend between the two (if you also have other models at the same price I can evaluate!)? Thanks! 🙏🏻

Have an upgrade and trying to decide what to go to....

My first smartphone was an iPhone 4s and I loved it at the time. Upgraded to 5s and hated it with a passion. I switched to samsung and have been there ever since, about 10 years. I currently have a samsung galaxy s22. I have but now with an upgrade I am trying to decide if I want to go back to an IPhone 16 pro max or stick to Samsung and go Galaxy s24+ ?

I love the camera on my phone and don't want to lose the quality that is there. I also have text messages that I don't want to lose with a switch so can those transfer between phones when you switch? Other than all customizable stuff what will I be giving up?

Please help me decide.....

Samsung Galaxy S23 (Snapdragon) vs S24 (Exynos)

Not sure which one to chose.

S24 (128gb Version/EU-Exynos-Version) for 599 Euros.
S23 (128gb Version) for 499 Euros.

Even though I know that the S24 is slightly better in many aspects + gets an extra year of security/OS updates I'm just not sure about the Exynos-chip.

I'm definitely not a heavy user, I care most about the camera/the os/the compact size/the battery.

If the S23 is much better in the battery department (cause of the superior chip) and mostly even in other areas I'd probably chose it over the S24.

Just like my S7 Edge (used it for 8 years) I plan to use this phone for 5+ years.

Thanks for the help guys! :)

Battery life on the Pixel 9 Pro is abysmal compared to what I'm used to. Any fix?

I'm so disappointed so far in battery life.

I had a Vivo X100 Ultra that I bought in China earlier this year and that phone was unbelievable. The battery.. I'd still have like 80% battery life at the end of the day.

With the Pixel 9 Pro that I just bought 2 weeks ago.. I'm down to like 60% after usage after two hours.. like a phone call, and some light browsing.

I knew that charging would be slow on the Pixel 9 Pro compared to the Vivo X100 Ultra or OnePlus 12 (my last two phone).. but holy cow is it slow.. even I am using the official Google 40w charger but I'm generally only getting 5 - 20w charging this phone.

The Vivo and OnePlus could do 100w.. so literally 5x faster charging than the Pixel 9 Pro.

But again the main issue I have is how fast the battery drains on the Pixel 9 Pro. Also I don't think mine is defective.. it just seems this is how it is with a 4900 battery. Are there any native Pixel settings or things I can turn off that might increase battery life by a lot?

I'm tempted to sell my Pixel 9 Pro and re-buy the Vivo phone from China.. but honestly that would suck because I would lose a lot of money if I do that.. and would also need to wait weeks for it to arrive. I'm hoping there are some settings or other things I could change that might increase the battery life on the Pixel? Although I've already gone through every setting twice and changed everything that makes sense to me.. but there could be something I'm missing.

The Pixel 9 Pro takes mostly good photos.. but I feel like the Vivo phone is definitely a step above probably because of that 1" sensor but I dunno.. for me the camera is OK and other things are OK.. it's really just the battery life that's killing me on this thing.

One more example.. I just had a 45 minute Whatsapp video call with a friend.. the Pixel 9 Pro was 100% when starting the call.. and shocked to see it's now at 68% left.. I think the Vivo or OnePlus 12 would normally be around 90% after such a long call.

TIA

Samsung, iPhone or pixel

Hey guys! I'm looking to update my phone. Atm i have a Xiaomi note 9 pro. I have had it since 2021 (i think even earlier). Though it is still working fine (although i treated it very poorly and dropped it around a lot as well) the battery is slowly dying on me. My budget is 600 to 800 usd.

What i am looking for something that will help with productivity, is convenient to use, durable (I'm clumsy), updates (i don't know but my brother says it's a big thing) and has a good front and bavk camera for pictures only.

I find pixel to be the best option but i live in fairly hot area and people say it heats up. I do have MacBook air m1 and i absolutely love that laptop
