Im trying to troubleshoot for No Signal to display monitor.
I removed my gpu and hdd to see if my monitor would still display a bios screen but it still has no signal to monitor.
It powers on, fans spin and lights come on, but no display matter what. What else can I try to do? (been troubleshooting since wednesday) thank you in advance
Is this worth the $750?
I had an order for a 7800x3D, but it was out of stock. Just got an alert that it’s back in stock, but wondering if I should just spend more for the new 9series X3D, or if there’s going to be a new version of the 7800, as I was told it wouldn’t be possible to get it anymore.
So, my PC has been bluescreening, and I've managed to figure out why, I've been following this guide: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/persistent-pc-freeze-and-crash-with-dcom-10016/2ce32a8f-d94e-45ce-88a5-a139f85ca75e
however, I get to step 10 and get stuck. I'm having to change ownership off of TrustedInstaller and move it to Administrator, and I can do that, but once I change ownership it won't let me give Admin full control permissions. I am currently an admin, I made sure to check that just in case so I don't really know where to go from here to fix my issue as per this guide. I'm currently using windows 11
As the title says.
I’ve recently been thinking about upgrading my computer as I’ve been encountering significant CPU bottlenecks in some games. Would the upgrade help alleviate this? It will be paired with an RTX 3070Ti.
Hello guys, today I upgraded my system (motherboard and cpu) and everything is now back together and works (almost) perfectly. Twice today both my monitors went black, as soon as I move my mouse they turn back on. I can’t replicate the issue. it seems to be completely random. The first time it happened while I wasn’t even at my pc, the 2nd time while I was talking with someone on discord. Both my monitors are connected to my GPU, 1 DP and 1 HDMI.
The only hint I have is, the 2nd time it happened a discord notification popped up that a new audio device (my monitor) has been detected. So I thought it might be something GPU related, but I tried my GPU on my old motherboard + cpu and everything worked normally. So the GPU + my DP and HDMI cables seem to be fine. I never had any issues like that on the old system, so I really don’t think it’s the GPU.
New system: B450 Tomahawk Max, Ryzen 5 3600 (OC to 4.2Ghz), RTX 2080
Im planning to get a better gpu. And that seems to be the best i can afford and its supposed to be compatible with legacy.
So I’ve been having this issue with my PC where when I turn it on the monitor will not detect that it’s connected and the screen will just remain black. I’ve tried different monitors, I’ve tried different cables, and still nothing all that I can do is continue to turn my PC off manually and back on and try again and eventually the PC will recognize that it is connected to a monitor.
If anyone has any suggestions, that would be really appreciated thank you!
Went to setup my desk today and the place I got it from gave me the wrong desktop for the legs, but the boys wanted to game so desperate times called for desperate measures!!
I am going to finish my build around December 15 but I am starting to get the parts for it now. I want to play AAA titles in 1440p and I don't really care for ray tracing. I got the ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7800 XT from Microcenter for $395 (pre-tax) about a month ago and I have 2 days to return it. I am worried that a better 7800xt model goes on a better sale for black Friday. Also, I cannot test the card at all until December when I build the whole PC. Is this model good and should I keep it?
Been out of pc gaming for a minute. Christmas is coming up and the kiddo and I are back on pc, forever, big ole period; no more consoles. 10 years ago, I loved Naga but I’ve heard they are not improving that left click life span. Need a headset as well. All budget. Suggestions? Quality over quantity or beauty. Prefer cable over WiFi. Budget is max $200 and I’d like enough left over for possibly a mechanical keyboard. Is it possible?
is that a thing? I'm looking for a mobile app that i can link all my game accounts to and it just syncs my game in one place just as how steam mobile works but more as a gog galaxy style. if there isn't is there an app that i can manually import games to (it must be an app not a website) i hope this thing exists fr
I’m wondering whether or not I should get a gaming pc or laptop. I know that pcs are better than laptops but I already have a Xbox series s and I already don’t play a whole lot but I want a laptop or pc to play some other games like beamng and other games that aren’t on Xbox. The laptop I’m looking at is a hp victus for $579 and the pc I’m looking at is from CyberPowerPc and it’s called the Prebuilt Gaming PC GM 99636 and cost $730.
My friend is having this issue on Rust, anyone know what's going on?
Back in the glory days of video encoding, many years ago, there was a codec named Divx. DivX, alas, died, and from its ashes came a mighty warrior named Xvid, etc. etc, etc most will know the end of this story. If you are late to the party check here DivX Wiki
I have needed to get some DivX goodness in my life again to get experimenting with the media player in my in-car entertainment unit, let me introduce my new best friend its DivX 11 Pro and it just loves multi-threading 😜💿
I will be running RTX 4070 Super, and I can't decide on the cpu. After getting convinced to not go with Intel's 14th gen, I am looking for AMD substitutes. I would happily go for the obvious 7800x3d if not for the budget (it's $500 in my country). I got left with 7 7700X and 7 9700X. I rule out the 7700X mainly due to it being an older generation. I want the newest parts for my new PC, as well as better efficiency and temperature records.
Is this a good $1000 build?
Looking for something mainly to just play competitive Fortnite with and possibly also make YouTube videos on. Won’t be streaming .
What are some decent builds for that price?
Summary: I’m interested in connecting my PC in one room to my Epson projector in another room about 20 feet away.
I have a gaming PC in my office and a large projector screen in my bonus room about 20 feet away. I would love to be able to play games on my PC on the projector but am not sure the best way to go about it. Do I need to run cables through the walls? Is there a wireless option that won’t sacrifice performance too terribly? Is the best option just to transport my tower back and forth when I want to play? Anyone have any experience with this?
I appreciate any advice!
