As the title says, whenever i wake my laptop up from sleep. Its either no audio driver detected at all or audio just doesnt play. Spotify would give an error saying it cant play ‘this’ right now and to download the file if i have it. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, pretty sure i reinstalled BIOS too, updating everything i could find on the laptop and only a restart temporarily enables audio, just for it to stop working again the next day. Happened right after i installed the latest driver but when i roll it back the same situation happens again. It’s been a month. I wanna cry.
My Asus ROG keyboard was charging and the cable melted into the keyboard. Can’t find anything online and I have not been able to get in touch with Asus after being on the phone for nearly two hours. Seems strange for the type c cable they provided to melt while charging a keyboard
My 2023 Asus ROG Strix SCAR 16 (https://rog.asus.com/laptops/rog-strix/rog-strix-scar-16-2023-series/) (4090 version) suddenly became unusable. I thought it is caused by either the recent windows update or the bios update the nvidia update, so I reverted all of those to the previous version, but it didn't help. I also reset my undervolt but that also didn't help. I even installed the original RAM to see if my new RAM is faulty, still the same issue. I was left with no option but to do a clean Windows install, which also didn't help.
It happens mostly while gaming, but does sometimes happen while doing nothing. At best, my screen freezes for a second every now and then even under no load. At worst, the whole screen flickers and starts to dim down until it is fully black.
Weirdly, when I opened it up, it was very clean, except for the right side SSD. It was fully covered with the weird stuff in the photo, as if it came out of the SSD itself (it was only on and under the SSD, all other components were clean).
I wanna take it to a service center, but where I live, we don't have an ASUS official service center or any other center authorized by ASUS. It is a $4000 laptop including taxes, customs, and shipping costs. I don't want to risk taking it to a normal service shop. I've had terrible experiences before, where I take a defective laptop to a service shop and get back even worse than before. I don't know what to do.
I left my pc at home for a week and I came back and it won’t show me anything on the screen after the POST and the light on my motherboard is stuck on a green light I think this is because it gets stuck on the boot device check. Please help I’m still new to having a pc

Hi guys/girls. I am updating my Rog Strix I9-14900, 2024 from 16gb of ram to 64gb and adding an extra 2T ssd drive.
Is there a difference between the makers/brands of ram/ssd drives? Like is there a difference between Samsung and Crucial in quality? I have read a lot about what difference ram costs. I have some ideas about what to get.
I was hoping you guys have some suggestions. I an in Europe. (Ireland) Any advice is very welcome. Thank not
I love this keyboard, but why isn't there a black model? Is the black model planned? Is there any information about the release date?
I got a 2022 rog strix g17 2 years ago. It has slowed down to an unbearable pace, I used to.be able to run FH5 at 80 fps now I can barely run War Thunder at medium settings. I was considering factory resetting the laptop would that help and do you have any other tips?
I tried water it didn't work or is it permanent now?
I was using ArmoryCrate since i bought asus rog strix G17(4070-r7 7845hx version).I saw some videos about g helper last few days and everyone were saying g helper is better than Arm.Crate . i wanted to try it and i watched some videos about what should i do and applied operations that i watched, after i downloaded g helper set some settings for fans and cpu limits and start playing cs2 for copmpare with Arm.Crate and it is better than before. While playing game when i was using Arm.Crate my cpu heat was between 75-83 degree in daily using and 80-85 degrees in game with my personal configuratioh but in g helper heat was 55-59 in daily and i started playing and experienced lower heat degrees i mean it is realy cool like 58-62 while playing but my fps was terrible according to before and i tried cpu boost settings for better fps and i enabled it . This increased my fps but this time my cpu was over heated like 91-92 degrees it s not worth it for extra 20-30fps and i uninstalled g helper (it is not as good as everyone stated)and installed armory crate again but surprisingly my cpu's heat between 55-60 degrees while daily using like watching videos or something but before heat was higher a lot after i uninstal and install again armory crate, my degrees decreased and it makes me happy so i want to share it maybe it can work for you.
I recently watched a disassembly video on YouTube for my laptop model. In the video, the person replaced the GPU’s thermal paste, mentioning that the original paste had dried up. However, when it came to the CPU, they didn’t apply anything, stating that it already had liquid metal applied.
This made me curious: does ASUS really use liquid metal on the CPU but regular thermal paste on the GPU for lower-tier models? Or is it possible that the person in the video had replaced the original paste with regular thermal paste, which later dried out?
I’m asking because I’ve been facing thermal issues on my laptop lately. When I contacted the service center, they told me not to worry since liquid metal thermal paste doesn’t dry out. But after watching that video, I’m feeling a bit paranoid.
Does anyone have any insights or similar experiences? Should I insist on the service center rechecking or reapplying the thermal materials? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have a problem with an eternal bootloop after latest BIOS update. Last week i‘ve got the X670E-I Gaming WiFi, after i installed Windows 11, i got the latest BIOS drivers and installed them. Then it stucked in an bootloop, tried CMOS-reset and everything. Can anyone help me? 🥲

I just reinstalled my windows. When it starts up asus grid wants to be installed. The only thing I like about it is how easy it is to find new drivers. I accidently clicked on "no" when asked if I wanna install it. And now I can not find a way to ghet it again (I don't wanna set up wondows again, if I can avoid it).
Does anyone have an idea where do download and install it from. Can't fidn it in teh drivers/utility section of my mainboard.
Anyone got problems with the ethernet port? Since yesterday windows cannot recognize the ethernet port.
I've updated the BIOS, installed Armoury Crate, tried with another cable, enabled and disabled the ethernet on the BIOS. I even tried with Linux and it's not recognising the ethernet, only the WiFi.
Any idea what might be going on?
It's warm to the touch in bottom left corner of the touchpad, and it's significantly warmer under load. What could it be? I don't remember this part of laptop heating up, I had my strix for almost 1.5 years now. There is battery underneath it, am I right? So could it be a spicy pillow in the making?
Hey guys,
Recently I've replaced my fans on my laptop and I feel the fans are now slower. Can somebody help me find out the max fan rpm on the stock unit.
This can be checked in armory crate, manual modes turn the fan speed to max in the graph
Thanks
Just got my son all new stuff for new pc. What is some items/accessories to add? ie: stickers?ram fan?led power cord or cover? LED lights, posters?
I've an ASUS ROG STRIX G15 and keep getting either error 10 or error 43 with my Intel WiFi 6 AX201 160MHz network adapter. I've tried updating the driver using a Wifi cable, uninstalling it in Device Manager then rebooting, and this whole thing with the Registry Editor. But before long (could be hours, could be months, could be minutes) my WiFi disappears again. Does anyone have a PERMANENT solution?

Recently I downloaded spiderman remastered on my Asus ROG strix G16 laptop and the issue is if I play the game in charging it lags, but if I play it in battery mode it doesn't lag and runs smoothly. Any ideas how to fix it?
Just wanted to increase my single stick 16gb to 2 stick 32gb by adding another 16. Firstly, i think i broke the bottom right corner screw while i was opening the back. Rhe one that do not come out. It do not get back in now.
Secondly, while i was trying to seat the ram, i got confused and wanted to unclamp the ram clamps to seat the new ram, apparently it just needs to slide in and click. Well i didn't watch the video before because a ram upgrade seemed simple enough. Well, ended up permanently bending one of the clamps outside. Tried to fix it but didn't work. The ram is being held by only 1 clamp. Didn't turned the laptop on yet, i hope it will work fine.
Right now i'm just wondering wether or not there can be any longterm issues with the bent ram clamp and the ram being held by only one clamp.
And if so, whay wpuld be the best course of action?
Will update if the laptop works properly and dete ts the new ram.
Update: laptop works fine and it recognizes the ram, so now the question is, will there be any longterm effects of securing the ram with only one clamp?

As the title says, before I had the Asus ROG Strix G15 I had an Asus Tuf F15, both lasted me a maximum of a month, without even giving it intensive use or suffocating them under extreme temperatures, the Asus Tuf had battery problems the 3rd week after its purchase, and the ROG Strix G15 presented multiple failures this week, I am extremely disappointed with the brand, I will not trust their products anymore. What is happening with the "quality and durability" in their materials?
I will name in order the following problems that were presented:
-SSD or Processor failure, when turning on the computer it stays on the loading logo, remaining in a constant reboot loop indicating "diagnosing your PC" "repairing your PC"
The computer is unusable, I can't do anything, since it only leaves me in the main menu with the solution of "reboot to fix the problem" I do it and it continues with the same loop, I will request the refund as appropriate and I will not trust this brand again. What do you think about all this?
I just had my first blue screen of death ☠️ in my i3-4300m. I've tried everything to fix but no avail. How can I recover my thesis data in the hard disk , when I can't even login. Any tips #ROG
