I took this picture from my car, in Oglebay, West Virginia. The fawn kept kicking its mother with that front leg as it nursed-so cute!
Elephant Sliding: Generally Elephants will bend their knees in their hind legs and slide/drag. Since Elephants are heavy animals and with their trunk they are front heavy too, they use this technique to shift their weight/mass backward to stabilize their movement during descent from steeper hills
For two days I heard piteous meowing near my airbnb on Sicily. Today I found the source: a couple of weeks old kitten, al by himself, very dirty and very hungry. I washed and fed him and now he sleeps like a baby. Tomorrow I’ll bring him to a shelter.

Stray dog teaching our pet dog to dig 😁, the stray dogs are well fed and taken care of by us and other dog lovers in our area. They returnthe favour by teaching our pets useful life skills and accompany us for walks. We are part of their pack, according to them.
