Hey, I’m from BC and work in a hospital for an engineering company. My co-worker found a Cleaver Brooks belt buckle located in Ephrata. The belt buckle is for sale on Letgo and the seller won’t ship it. The seller is selling it for $20, and my co-worker is willing to pay someone 60usd or even more to pickup this belt buckle and ship it to him. The hospital we work for uses a Cleaver Brooks plant and this belt buckle is something he’s been looking for for a long time. My 20 something children are considering a move back to Lancaster County. They are not huge partiers but they wonder if they will always have to travel elsewhere for weekend and evening fun. What are the best things to do in Ephrata for young (21+) people that involve alcohol?

You guys came through last time with "what are they building"...let's see if you can work your magic again! Any idea on what's going up across from Charile's Gas? It was two houses that got torn down and I would have assumed some houses rebuilt but the new Ephrata Bank sign says "Helping a Small Business Grow". I've poked around the minutes of the board/zoning but couldn't find anything.

So today I spoke with an installer who stated the Ephrata area is getting Fiber, with Martindale being the test area and then after that, they'll expand it.

[Kim] Thank you. We may be replacing or upgrading fiber in certain areas. However, I am not aware of any increase in speeds at this time.

[ME] Well, with fiber, speeds would really increase, because that's kind of the point of Fiber.

[ME] Do you know what areas are getting it? or a time frame? This is the one thing I've complained to you guys about for years, so I am kind of excited for at least faster upload speeds

[Kim]I have no information in regards to this. I will email your local office for information and email you once I have an information.

Anyways, with Fiber, I can't imagine the speeds not improving, the guy today stated the speeds would be much better and much better upload speeds "since the current ones we offer, suck".
