In 30+ years, I have never. I've never even seen anyone wearing one.
and when I mention this on the internet, everyone thinks I'm crazy.
What 'I voted' stickers look like in all 50 states
^(FYI: I vote in Muhlenberg)
My husband grew up in Reading in the 80s. He said he loved a certain park that he referred to as the “Mickey Mouse playground” because it had a certain slide or playground piece with Mickey on it. Does anyone know which playground that was?
I just got received a job offer from DEKA in production. I currently have a medical marijuana card. What is the deal? Will I be denied employment? Any experience with this is greatly appreciated.
I’m so tired of being disappointed by bad wings. What places have good wings! Specifically bone in! Anywhere in Reading,PA or suburbs!
I’m far from the life of the party, but I love trivia and I love horror & I feel pretty confident that at least one other person on here does as well.
This is tomorrow night and I’d love to put a team together, have a partner or best case scenario: get enough people to make multiple groups.
I think this would be cool because it allows us to be social without feeling TOO much pressure to socialize consistently.
Of course, it should go without saying that it should all be in good fun & for the love of trivia and horror- win or lose. Please come with good spirit (No pun intended).
Hi I (33nb) live in the surrounding area and I am trying to make some friends because I don’t really have a lot unfortunately because of being an introvert.
Is anyone interested in starting up a book club or a dnd group?
I was bullied in a workplace for a disability and my uncle’s death by a boss. Thanks.
I've been living in Reading for over eight years and I struggle to make friends (I have ADHD and mild autism) I can socialize just fine but I struggle to put myself out there for fear of being too different. I'm really starting to feel it though. I just turned 37 and I'm starting to feel like if I don't try now I'll never find anything.
So I'm starting by looking for a group that is open to having another member added. I'm not religious so I don't know if I'd be welcome in a church but I'm not against it at all. Doesn't need to be weekly. Monthly is fine.
Hey everyone! I (27M) have been in Reading for quite some time. I used to live with my partner but since we broke up, I realized that I didn't have friends in the area.
If I'm not outside hiking or shooting photos, I'm at home cooking and baking. I'm also into music and currently re-learning the guitar. I also enjoy rock climbing, biking, running, and I tend to get along with most people. I don't travel too far since I have a dog that needs regular walks so I'm looking for some friends to hang out with that are local. I love to cooking, baking, and photography so if you ever wanted to learn any of those things, I'm your guy!
If any of that is of interest to you, lets connect and thanks for reading this far.
I don't want it. I don't need it. It will provide me nothing. I have to pay an additional 150 dollars for it aside from the taxes I already pay. Why not just come out and say, "we can't budget well to pay for all the unnecassary government jobs we created, so we're robbing you and hoping to find more ways to rob you"?
Who’s got fastbridge and can tell me how the install was? Just got the email to schedule it but I’ve seen some posts about the installation being sloppy. (Cables being really low from the pole and hitting the ground.) can anyone show or tell me how their install was?
As the title states, my family and I are moving and are interested in any feedback for local moving companies. We are moving about an hour away in PA (no out of state move) thank you!
Would anyone be interested in/is aware of an Urban Sketchers chapter in Reading?
The closest chapter is in Philadelphia, but we have a bit of an art scene here due to GoggleWorks/galleries in West Reading/our local Museum and it would be a great addition to start one. Plus we have many wonderful views to draw from!
Do you find yourself going to events on Penn Ave in West Reading, like the upcoming Fall Fest? Are there must see / do things when you go?
Is there a good place to go in the area?
I just moved to the area and want to get myself and my partner a couples massage. Looking for a 90 minute minimum massage. Would love some recommendations!
