Hi, I’m trying to find the best possible hotel at the best possible price nearest to the new downtown shuttle stop. Everything seems to be crazy expensive. Any suggestions?

So this year in my group confirmed there are 4 people along with possibly one more person, for context it’ll be two couples plus one other person . It’s mainly me and my boyfriend that’s trying to set everything up together (it’s his third year and my second year) and we’ve took a look at air bnbs, hotels, and possibly camp. We’re interested in the 4 people pod but worried about the space in there along with what materials we’d need to bring. As for hotel it sounds fun because of the djs that’ll do performances there as well as being in a building with ravers but the prices aren’t too pretty hehe. As for bnb i feel this our best option because we like the pay half now and half later and everyone would get their own space and such. As you can tell im all over the place about this and have considered pros and cons. What has worked better for your rave fam? Ofc we also wanna budget well and not spend a crazy amount but we are all willing to put in at least $500 each for whatever it is that we are staying at.

So recently I got into a car accident (not at fault) but because of this I can't go to EDC 😭 So I called Front Gate Tickets and they told me they could cancel it but it would can a fee of $175, but they also said because I got the insurance on it that I would have to make a claim thru the insurance Allianz, so i call Allianz and they told me just to make a claim and wait for them to tell me. Idk what to do I just need some of my money back.

I just checked hotel prices for the Rio Las Vegas (which I got shuttle passes for) and a stay from 15-20th is $3000+?! This is insane! This is supposed to be one of the more affordable hotels.

I tried to book way earlier in the year and the website told me there was only a 6month time window out to book so I waited. But I guess I wasn’t quick enough to the punch since it seems like they changed that policy.

What do I do? I already booked shuttle passes too. I tried booking through the edc site for hotels too and it’s still expensive. Are prices supposed to drop later in the year or am I stuck paying this price? 😭

edit: I’m afraid I’m not willing to stay at the budget hotels like Excal and Golden nugget! Rn even the prices for the Cosmo are cheaper than Rio

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are upon us. It’s one of the best times to check back in on prices. Southwest makes it real easy to switch if there’s a price drop, mgm sometimes mixes it up too. Good time to grab outfits, beads, trinkets, etc.

I wasn't sure between VIP or GA+, but then I felt ready to pull the trigger on VIP today. Turns out they were sold out pretty recently. Any idea when they come back on sale? And when they do, will there be a price increase?

Also debating buying on stubhub, which seems just a bit cheaper. Should I do that instead of waiting?

I just booked a few nights there for EDC LV but I haven’t seen any mention of it on this subreddit. Any thoughts on the hotel? It seems fairly priced and relatively close to the downtown shuttle stop but unsure about the cleanliness, etc.

First time EDCer, bought the world market center shuttle and still need to book hotel. Recs? Have some friends staying at golden nugget but that appears to be a 20 min walk, is that pretty standard for this shuttle? Thanks!

I’ve read in the past people wait until Black Friday to secure their hotel. Unfortunately my friends have no decided on anything yet so I figured maybe just wait for Black Friday now. I’m just curious how much do you get off for these hotels? Is it like 10%, 20% ? Do all hotels offer Black Friday sales or only some? My one friend is boujee and will not stay in anything less than 4 stars 🙄🙄. Just curious on what everyone else has done in the past and if it was worth it

-IF you plan on ubering (its not the best idea so only IF) make sure you pre book your Ubers/lyfts ahead of time like a few days before the festival. When pre booking it’ll ask for your pickup and drop off, date and time. Your driver will be at your pickup location at the time you put it as when you prebooked. Worked for me the last edc’s and all the festivals I go to out of state. -Rates at Palms Place by the Rio for edc weekend is at 255 a night rn and its a nice place. Gold Coast apparently also just apparently renovated rooms but its not the best hotel. -Instead of taking the 15 freeway to edc, go around and use the 215. It merges almost close to where you exit off the freeway to go to the parking lots (closest was purple and green)
