I've read that it's visible from there but it's kind of difficult to believe. I'm curious to see how it'd look like in real life.
Hey all!
I’m heading to Vegas for the 3rd time at the start of Dec - going for a work conference and will be staying in the Wynn Sunday-Friday.
Have been the last two years running, and trying to get tips for what I’m missing this year! What bars would you recommend? Anywhere that’s good and lively to hang out at midnight-3am on weeknights? Last few times we’ve found it much quieter in the evening then expected, and not really known the best bars to go, so often ended up in random lobby bars in Caesars palace. I feel I’ve missed a bunch of things!
So far my favourite places have been: The Double Down Saloon, The Chandelier bar in the Cosmo, Duelling Pianos in the Flamingo, the Sphere, and Bazaar Meat.
Least favourite: STK in the Cosmo ($200 steak that was pretty average)
Any tips? What have I missed out on that’s your must go to bar or restaurant? Also I’ll be heading via Planet 13, any places that are must have places to go when stoned?
Thanks all and looking forward to coming back to your lovely city!

I found this partial sticker in the bathroom of an apartment that I moved into last week. It appears to be a police sticker. Does anybody know what it says in it's entirety?
Finally made it to Hotel California! Been such a lovely place on my bucket list, and tonight I get to Take It to the Limit live!
We’re from British Columbia. Canada. Top notch Sativa would be ideal.
Due to a medical emergency I’m unfortunately looking to sell my tickets for the Eagles at the Sphere Saturday 11/9.
We paid $875 but will take lower and are happy to entertain all offers! We’re so sad to have to sell but know we will need to take a loss and don’t want the seats to go to waste.
Great seats - Section 309 Row 16, seat 1-2 (closest to section 308 which I’m told is one of the best sections in the venue).
Can immediately show proof of purchase and authenticity.
Thanks!

Are taxi rates from Strip hotels to Harry Reid, supposed to be the same as they are from Harry Reid to the Strip hotels? I've looked and it seems the only posts I can find relate to the zone rates from Harry Reid to the Strip hotels. Not the other way around.
To better explain what I'm wondering...
I was recently in Las Vegas and stayed at the MGM Grand. The zone rate to that hotel from Harry Reid was $21.
When I went back to Harry Reid a couple of days later from the MGM Grand, the cab driver I got on that trip set the flat rate at $25.
I didn't know if there were specific surcharges for going to the airport (to justify the $4 more) or if the cab driver being unethical?
Thanks in advance.
I think the whole Grand,Major,Minor,Mini and the Firecracker,888 type games are on the way out. The Pinball and Top dollar 9 line seem to be growing in popularity.
I'm a fan of old school 3 reel machines and they're becoming less and less.
Hey, I’ve been teasing a Vegas trip for years now but maybe if I start posting about it I will it into existence.
I don’t have any loyalty to any casino when I go to Atlantic City. I’ll usually walk the boardwalk and go to all of them or most if they have free play and giveaways that day. A few hours at the tables, maybe watch one game, a little shopping and call it a night.
I would probably take that same approach to Vegas. Having never been I would like to experience as much of it as possible. And as a cheapskate I’d love to do a tier match and see what kind of giveaways I can get for doing such/signing up for smaller casinos.
I am thinking somewhere in the spring, possibly WrestleMania weekend, but I wouldn’t be wasting money on that. If TNA (which usually runs Sam’s Town) or any indies are not too far from Allegiant Stadium maybe I’ll check them out.
Not a concert guy, but could be interested in some night life. I’ll post closer to when I go around that. Would probably spend a little time at the pool (I’ll get free nights at any Caesars properties so again will eventually ask about best ones for that).
Assuming 6-8 hours a day is every one on three strip possible? Should I venture out?
Hello wonderful Vegas group! I will be heading to Vegas the week of Thanksgiving and was wondering if yall could help! I am in search of my favorite game on the strip. Big Hot Flaming Pots. I am staying at Palazzo, but will be gambling all over. Have you seen this game? Please comment where if you have! Thank you!!!
I saw the prices of all the drinks but the iced coffee is was not listed and when I paid it was $11! Upcharging in a casino is expected but eleven dollars for an iced coffee is ridiculous. Another person next to me paid $8 for a bottled water at Starbucks. Smh
Hey all,
Anybody have any suggestions for cheap living quarters for Saturday and Sunday?
I’m coming from Toronto, Canada. I’m more interested in spending my coin at the bar, restaurants and entertainment than at a hotel/motel!
Any suggestions are welcomed!!
Thanks everyone,
Torontonian
What are some insider tricks for avoiding sneaky ways you can be exposed to UV? For example, I know that you should get your car windows treated, and wear UPF clothing and hats. Are there any things you wouldn't normally think about that you learned the hard way about the sun here. Is it just impossible to not get any color during the summer even if you're super vigilant?
Also any tips on staying safe when it's really hot-- like do you keep gatorade on hand everywhere?
As you can see, I'm a bit neurotic (and vain) but also very scared.
Hi fellas, so I'm arriving to Vegas at the end of the month for AWS reinvent. I am looking for good, not expensive Chinese and Deep Dish Pizza. Preferably on the strip.
Thanks in advance!
Me and 4 friend are traveling to Vegas Nov 7th- Nov 11th. We need some things to do, anything from bars, nude pools, museums, shows, anything! We are trying to have a good time… we are also traveling with a virgin if that helps with any suggestions!
Arriving with expired credit card
Next week ill be arriving at paris vegas. If i remember correctly they dont charge your card on your check in date until you physically check in?
Im staying in comped rooms. The lady on the phone told me not to worry and to just give an new card at the desk upon arrival. I have been charged nothing so far. The card i used expired in september. I booked these back in may not realizing the expiration date.
I will be in Vegas later this moment and have some F&B credit for an MGM property restaurant. Now there are a lot of options for restaurants but I was wondering if someone maybe has some recommendations for a restaurant to eat in the lower/mid price range
If you're a foodie like me or just looking to try something new, I put together a guide on some of the best food trucks around Las Vegas, based on local recommendations and reviews.
If you’ve tried any of these or have your own favorite food trucks, I’d love to hear about them!
Planning to see Usher on Nov. 15th! Have never been to t-mobile arena, so looking for some insight on the seating/section views. There’s a few suite seats available (I’d be purchasing 2 tickets in a shared suite) for cheap…are the suite amenities not included for concerts? Is the view terrible?
Couple in the early 30s looking for the hottest pool party in Vegas ? Preparing our 2025 spring. We like sexy vibes 🔥🔥🔥
Does anyone know of any casino in Vegas that has 10$ or less pai gow tables? Here for the next couple of days and for the life of me can’t find anything online that shows me updated places. Thanks for the help!
I don't live in Vegas anymore (I lived there from 6-13 yrs old in the 2000s) so idk if it still goes "Glen Lerner is the way to go call 87715OO". Does it still? But anyway does anyone still have that jingle in their head sometimes?
Did park mgm get rid of their 3/2 tables or did the pit boss lie to me.
Went to the back near high roller to where the 3/2 tables are. They still don’t show the payout, but the screens now show 6/5.
They said it changed few weeks back?
Is Vegas a bad place to live? I’ve visited family that live there before and it seems Ok. Just the heat that prevents you from doing anything outside related. Is it as bad as many californians/randoms make it out to be. I know the prices are definitely better than california, but is it worth the move? Would you have prevented yourself from moving there if you could?
I was curious if anyone knew when the Las Vegas Caesars great gift wrap up will be this year. ( 2024 )
And does anyone know how to check your gift points. ( Not Reward Points )
Thank you.
