Hi!
I'm looking for a lightweight infant carrier compatible with a 2 kid stroller. (I also need recs for the stroller lol)
I would prefer not to drop two grand if possible.
Thank you!
I am a FTM hoping to use the Chariot for cross country skiing, biking and jogging. We are on the fence whether or not:
Take the plunge to buy the single or double. Right now, we are a one baby household. Unsure if we want more kids, however I love the idea of taking my friends kids with me skiing or biking since a close friend won't have a chariot.
Buying a cross vs lite. Is the extra storage worth it? Will pass on the sport, but can add brakes later.
The resale market. It's pretty crazy to me that (at least where i live) double thule chariots are all in the $900-$1000 range and making me think I should just go ahead and buy new but on sale since it'll be about the same
Can you share with me your thoughts and opinions if you have any feedback on the above?
Thanks in advance
FTM here! I plan to use a Malm dresser that we already have as a changing station for our baby by adding a changing pad on top of it. I wanted to see if any of you have tested options for Malm drawer organizers or dividers that are conveniently sized for baby stuff
Thanks in advance!
I'm looking into transitioning my 3 month old into a sleep sack as she's now rolling. I was leaning towards the Halo one but was looking to see if someone has any other recommendations! She's currently in a Love to Dream transition one, but it's cold in our place and it'll get colder in the winter (cause Canada).
Hi, does anyone know if there is a travel bag (or bags) that would hold the frame of the cybex Balios and the Bassinet? We have to travel by plane in a month and she's too young for using the stroller, so we are considering bringing with us the frame and the bassinet.
Anyone can reccommend a safe way to package them and avoid ryanair to destroy them whle handling?
I may be over thinking this but I thought that there was a safety accreditation(s) for infant toys??? I specifically am interested in getting my 6 month old daughter Miniland Sensory Balls but I can’t find anything in regards to it being certified or accredited safe for babies. I am nervous about potential choking or a toxin/lead. 🤷🏻♀️. It seems okay based on the description but a safety accreditation/certification would make me feel better. Anyone know anything about safety accreditations/certifications for toys and/or how to look them up? https://a.co/d/0gLMSxu
I’m expecting my first babe in 2025 and I’m considering getting an IKEA crib mattress.
I can’t find any specific reviews on Reddit for the Krummelur crib mattress (or the other one for that matter).
Any reviews or recommendations for or against??
First time parents-to-be living in a small city apartment with very little space in our bedroom, probably no more than 2 feet either side of the bed. We are also planning a big move ~3 months after baby comes so trying to minimize big or unnecessary baby purchases until we are in the new home BUT want baby to be safe and comfortable until then of course.
We bought the Nuna Triv Next with a Lytl bassinet, with the intention of using the bassinet on a stand as a bedside sleeper. But now having second thoughts on the basis that I'm not sure that it will provide enough airflow for overnight safe sleep. The sides of the bassinet open up to reveal mesh panels, but still, FTM anxiety makes me nervous about SIDS if baby decides to wriggle over to the side in the night...
Does anyone have experience using their stroller bassinet, in particular the Nuna Lytl, for regular overnight sleep? I reached out to the company to learn more about their sleep certification and am waiting to hear back.
Thanks!
So I wasn't looking at getting a nuna exec, but I just found one open box for $225. It's normally $750. It's brand new and still has 9.5 years on the expiration. The only reason it's at this store is that it was returned and the box had a dent on the corner.
I was initially looking for one that snapped in and out of a stroller, and the exec doesn't. However, we will probably need two car seats anyway for our two vehicles. Would this + something else be a good option? From what I can tell, this is a super premium carseat and very safe, so it's tempting.
Thanks!
For some context, my husband and I both want car seats for our vehicles so we don’t have to switch it around all the time. Would it be best to get a car seat stroller combo or just a car seat that could be convertible and a separate stroller. I would love to do the most cost effective way in the long run but also be safe for baby. Any recommendations or advice is appreciated.
Hi all - my wife and I recently got a Nuna Revv and while the convenience is great, it CONSTANTLY rattles. Any speed, any type of road, it's rattling and frankly driving me nuts. I have reinstalled it many different times trying both the seat belt and latches and it's the same every time. The sound seems to be coming from the base of the car seat.
Really annoying to buy a "high-end" car seat for it to seem so cheap. Interestingly we bought it to replace a Nuna Pipa RX which also had rattling/build quality issues. I thought it might be something with the car itself but there's no sound when the car seat is removed entirely.
Anyone with similar issues? I'm about to swear off Nuna as a brand entirely...
We are expecting our first child this holiday season and my wife has decided to buy a nuna set that specifically comes with the baseless urbn carseat.
Was wondering if anyone has feedback on how loose the anchor connection is? I plugged it into the anchor hooks in the rear seats and while it does seem latched, there is probably .5-1 inch of slide left and right along the anchor hooks. Is this normal ?
Tried to go to fire station, but they no longer check in my area
Got the Zoe Tour v2 as our travel stroller for the upcoming baby. It seems the frame only supports Chicco and Graco baby carriers with the included adapter. Anyone have experience using the Tour with an Uppa Mesa 2?
Is there another adapter available? Thanks!
I’ll probably get downvoted to hell for this because I mentioned that I’m looking for a breathable mattress. I understand it’s a marketing gimmick and is not proven to reduce SIDs if baby is face down on it. I’m not looking at it from that perspective, rather I am looking at it for the fact that there is more airflow throughout the mattress to keep baby cool. I am a hot sleeper and our bedrooms are upstairs so for the summer I worry about baby and any cooling features are appealing.
Can anyone recommend a crib mattress that is Greenguard gold certified that is breathable and waterproof besides the Newton? I feel like I don’t need the ability to wash the entire mattress so it isn’t worth spending extra on. I’d rather have spare covers.
Hi! I’m a FTM and am looking for a good bassinet. I don’t know how important soothing features (rocking, vibrating) are on a bassinet and I know every baby is different but I’m having trouble deciding on one! I want something safe and sturdy that has washable covers. So far I’ve been looking at the Halo swivel — which I’ve heard complaints about the wide legs/the bassinet tilting, and the Newton — but it doesn’t rock or have any soothing features, so I’m not sure if it’s worth the price. And Snoo and Cradelwise definitely don’t seem worth the $1k+ for something that’ll only be used for a few months, especially since snoo needs a subscription. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone,
Was hoping to get some help on these 2 strollers.
My wife and I are expecting our first child next year. We’ve been looking at strollers and have narrowed it down to these 2.
We’re are looking for any personal advice/reviews you may have on these 2 products.
Thank you!
Hello FTM here! After trying to figure out what I wanted for our sleeping situation I settled on the one mentioned above. It has the bassinet (not a napper) and I figured this would be good for our overnight sleep area next to the bed as well as the convenient diaper changer area next to it for those middle of the night changes. What’s everyone’s experience that has used this?
I know some people just use it to have downstairs or in the living room but we were planning to use it as our overnight sleeping situation. From what I read the bassinet is safe for sleep.
I also like that it can convert to multiple uses over time, especially for our future travels!
Which baby keepsake book have you bought? Has anyone used the one from Love + Wild, the one from Duncan & Stone or Pearhead (Target)? I am looking at those three though they are at very different price points.
I’m due early February with my first and I'm honestly lost. God willing, I would like to have a second baby soon after. So is it worth investing in a double stroller?
I’m thinking about the Doona or Evenflo Shyft DualRide for the first year and then deciding later (depending if I will be pregnant or not). But I think it would be nice to have a stroller for the newborn/baby phase. At the same time, I think about always carrying it with me with a baby carrier.
What do you guys think about this? Is a stroller a necessity? Do you use it a lot? Remembering that I plan to have the stroller and car seat in one.
Besides that, we travel by plane a lot, so always having to check in a stroller and car seat will be a pain. I don't know what to do!
The double seem so big, but if I have 2 under 2 would they be necessary (or not?) Help! Lol
Thank you in advance 🙌🏼
Anyone know if the uppababy cozy ganoosh fits in the vista v2 bassinet? I only see pics of it in the rumble seat
Hi Everyone,
Just put together our new Tripp Trapp high chair and I’m having trouble tightening up the middle bar. Even without the footrest in place, it doesn’t close all the way and there is a good gap on both sides.
I tried searching online but couldn’t find anything about this. I’ve been looking at photos and they all show the middle bar flush. Is this the same across all of them? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!!

A family friend was kind enough to share a gently used mamaroo. It's great since we don't know if it will work with our baby and it would be a big spend for potentially a stuff collector. However they didn't include a newborn insert. It's only like $25 on Amazon. Worth buying to really see if our baby likes it? Or can we get a sense with the way it is now? TIA!
Is it just me or is Bugaboo suddenly getting super popular? I remember being on here in 2023 when I was pregnant and trying to pick a stroller and I wanted a Bugaboo, but literally no one was talking about them and people were just pushing Uppa baby constantly.
I know celebrities have always had them, but I swear no one day to day was choosing Bugaboo as the popular option until the last six months!
FTM here! I have finally narrowed my stroller (plus bassinet) selection to 3 and now I need your help. Any advice (pros/cons/personal experiences/etc) you can share would be amazing.
Thank you for all your help!!!
Bonus advice would be any thoughts on a car seat that would be compatible - TIA!
So thank God I have a good discount to buy a breast pump through insurance. I’m between Momcozy M5, Spectra S1 and Willow Go.
What I've seen is that the Momcozy isn't as efficient because it's not hospital grade, so a lot of moms have 2, an efficient one like the Spectra plus the Momcozy. But I don't plan on having 2, so I thought about the Willow Go since it's wearable and hospital-grade.
Has anyone used any of them? I'd appreciate any input on this! Thank you!!
My baby is due early February and I still need to buy so many things. And I'm also new here in the United States. I thought Black Friday would be the perfect time to buy some things like a stroller, all the nursery furniture, etc... I would love some tips on brands/places that have good deals during Black Friday!
I am interested in purchasing a Nuna stroller on Black Friday. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to find the best deal?
I’m a FTD and we are expecting our boy in March! We live in West LA and trying to pick the perfect stroller for my wife and us.
We really like the Dragonfly! We got to try it in person and we love the one hand fold, the sturdiness and the light weight. Also it comes in a bunch of cool different color combinations.
I only have two concerns:
It doesn’t have a mesh back seat, and that worries me since we live in LA. Some of the competitors strollers like Nuna Triv have that. Curious to hear from other parents on your experiences. I’m planning on getting a fan attachment when it gets hot to make sure he stays cool, but still worried about proper ventilation.
It’s a little narrow. I don’t know if he will end up being a big baby but wondering if the narrower frame will mean is less comfy if he’s on the bigger size.
Initially I thought we would love the fox 5, but that felt too heavy for my wife.
Would love to hear from other parents! thank you
Hi all! Our 6 month old is ready to sit in a high chair and I have no idea what to get. Easy to clean would be ideal. Sturdy. With foot plate. What I worry about is her head against wood. She loves to look around and throws her head back when she laughs. I would love an option with some padding at least behind her head/back if there is a good option out there!
