Why is that the beer that’s the easiest to drink takes the longest to brew? Double decoction Czech Premium lager. Just Weyermann Floor malted bohemian Pilsner malt, Saaz and WLP802 yeast.

Stone 12.12.12 from my cellar.
Finishing the last of the Stone Brewing Vertical Epic series that has been in my cellar ever since I got them. This one from 2012 started out with a nice nose. But like the 11.11.11 earlier, the cinnamon and allspice adjuncts made it go a bit stale and got it some oxidization. Still plenty of sticky malt and the spice of a Belgian dubbel hanging in there.
