Did I finally convince someone else to begrudgingly lift their Impreza?

Just curious if anyone here has had any experience with mounting Forceum M/T 08 tires to stock 13" civic steelies, and if they do mount fine is clearance affected at all with stock ride hight?
Hi just joined Im 16 and just bought a 09 subi outback sport. As a 16yo im obviously not going to leave it stock and lowering it is out of the question because i dont want to be that one person stuck in the ski resort parking lot. So i figured that i little lift and some bigger tires to fill out the wheel wells would be a better route to go. Im not looking to have any trimming or rubbing. What is the best route to go for lift(around 1 k dosent have to be coilovers). And how big of tires could i fit comfortably.

I just got a 2010 forester. It’s my daily drive but I would like it to be better equipped for off-road use. I’m looking to get some all-terrain tires. What size all-terrains will fit a stock 2010 forester? What else would you recommend? I hike, fish, camp, etc
I became the sole mod here after getting the sub active again via r/redditrequest but I've come to realize I just don't have the time to manage it.
Looking for some people to take on the role of additional mods, will probably bring at least 2 onboard maybe more depending on how many good candidates reach out.
If you're interested please shoot a message to modmail with your mod experience and what you think you would bring to the team along with any ideas you might have about changes around here.
Hoping to get some people onboard within the next couple of weeks
Thanks!
Hey All,
My current tire tread is getting low, my current OEM struts/shocks have 240k miles on them, and I have relocated to a mountainous locale with rougher roads. Seems like an optimal time to increase ground clearance on my Matrix.
I'm looking to change struts/shocks, put a small lift (looking primarily at spacers), and upgrade the tire size on my 2005 Matrix AWD. Not interested in huge beefy tires, just some decent, slightly bigger all-seasons that help get a little additional clearance
Does anyone have some insight or points in the right direction for the best route for doing this? Drawbacks to increasing ground clearance? Lift size and parts suggestions (for AWD model) ? Tire size suggestions? Other considerations?
I'm frugal-minded but not interested in low-quality parts. I'm leaning toward replacing current suspension with full strut and coil spring assemblies, making it easier to do the work myself.
All links and points in the right direction are much appreciated.
Hello, I’m wanting to lift my 06 Impreza wagon, I’m going the forester route, and already have the suspension. I’ve heard lots of different ways of lifting the car. Someone said they put the suspension on and then used different axles and put a 2” spacers on the trailing arms. I’ve heard other people completely changing the control arms and sway bar linkages, and some other things.
I’m trying to do this right without doing it twice. Does anyone know the proper things I should swap out? If I need to swap the axles as well, should I get forester axles or something specific?
Thanks for any help.
For a long time i have been wanting to Modify a Astro Van into a Battlevan/Camper, with a bed slide out stove/sink and storage. But the prices on these things combined with the abysmal mileage make it a bit unappealing. Every year i try to do a big 5-10k mile road trip so 10 MPG is brutal.
So I'm thinking about a wagon, I need something AWD, Cheap, 20+MPG(before mods) and needs to be at least 6ft from tailgate to back of the rear seats.
I'm thinking about the good ol' Volvo Wagon
But id really like to do a Mercedes E class wagon, but im not sure how easy it would be to lift that a few inches like i would like to.
What are the best options?
This is the only photo I can find of the car. It's on ralliteks Web site. Figured maybe someone here will know.
Hello!
I’ve just bought bfg ko2 for my 2015 XC70 (215/65/r16). Im looking for Sparco Terra wheels, but im kinda lost if it will fit the tires.
stock wheels are 7Jx16 5x108 ET50,” and sparco wheels are 16″x7″ 5×108 ET 40. Would the 10mm offset difference be a problem?
Would it fit? Any recommendations?
Thanks!!
