As the title suggests, has anyone faced this issue with their Audi where music or any MMI sound (navigation/radio) goes away for like a week then works fine for 3-4 months then go away again. Got it checked by the dealership and no issue was spotted and they cannot diagnose the root cause. TIA
Hello everyone, I’m kinda new to Reddit and car buying in general.
I was looking on my local FB Marketplace when I saw a 2007 Audi S4 Quattro Cabriolet 2D with only 85k original miles for sale and a clean title, for only 8,500 OBO. It’s white with a red leather interior.
The KBB says it’s a good price but I thought I would ask the experts first. Thoughts?
During the 9 month waiting period I did consider the BMW M2 or M3 because of the S58 engine. BUT. I am super happy with my RS3 AND I am glad to day I have yet to see an RS3 let alone one in Kyalami Green. BUT I have seen alot of M2s and M3s. As a matter of fact there are a ton of new BMWs driving in SC atm. Again. Super happy with my decision. Just wanted to share my happiness.
Just bought an SQ8. Can I even reset my maintenance light?
I understand the ECM and TCM are encrypted with some new technology that prevents tunes to this point as well?
Thanks.
Would I be able to have any mechanic install this in my 2024 S5? What does B9/B9.5 mean?
Also same question with 2024 S5
They have refused to provide me my receipt or any paperwork on what was done to my car. I just paid off this vehicle and I’m devastated. Can someone please tell me what they did? My car is hitting the ground.

Anyone have an idea on what the repair costs would be on this? Rear ended someone, they had no damage what so ever. Infuriated right now. Was just about to buy an AMG as well.

I am looking into getting myself a fun project car for only my weekend driver as i primarily have a work truck i drive during the week so i wont be commuting in it.
My goal is to just have a fun car i can modify to look nice from stock (nothing crazy) Just lighting housing, grilles, maybe a small spoiler and some other minor exterior mods like tints and bumpers if i decide to
I have a few local B8s ive found (2008-2011) A4 2.0T Quattro premiums that i do like but i understand its very common for them to have issues with oil consumption, some front end issues with the bushings, and fuel injection problems and leaks.
Im relatively new to any kind of Audis but i like the idea of them, seen a couple videos and posts about the AWE Exhausts and some good parts to fix the oil consumption issues and other things
Am i better off looking into the B8.5s that have fixed the issues that I've read of the early B8s or should i look for something newer?
I do all my own work to my vehicles so i don't mind it and i know ill be paying for the price of the quality Audi parts i understand that but are they worth the *headache* to replace these known problems?
Hi I have a 2011 Audi q5 4dr 3.2L Prestige Specs it’s running hot for a few seconds then cools off before I can pull over just got the thermostat, coolant crossover and transfer pipe replaced. Precious owner put stop leak in it and I got it flushed also got a new water pump and oil filter housing car still runs hot then cools off it will shake a little when going up a steep slope along with cylinder misfiring. I guess my question would be what to do from here and is it fixable.
I've just bought a 2015 Audi a7 3.0 v6 tdi 272, on cold starts the car has a very rough idle, hunting between 800-1000rpm, if I go to drive off straight away it's very hesitant and low on power. Once warm the car runs and drives fine pulls well just on cold starts or if left for longer than 5 hours between journeys
Hello everyone, I am planning to purchase an Audi A5 2023 in the coming weeks. I am curious about the effectiveness of the active lane assist feature. Does it maintain the vehicle in the center of the lane or does it cause the vehicle to sway from side to side?
I'm currently cross shopping the Q5 with the usual suspects (X3 etc.) I've enjoyed the Q5 test drives I've taken (I think everyone's familiar with the differences-one intriguing Q5 advantage is the adjustable height suspension that I don't see anywhere else, though I'm sure if it ever fails it's not going to be fun to fix : ).
I live in a big city and one of the things I'm curious about is the supposed ability of modern cars to auto brake to avoid hitting pedestrians. The IIHS (the folks that bring us crash tests in the US) is now including test results that score the performance of this automatic emergency braking functionality and the Q5 doesn't do very well in their test:
https://www.iihs.org/ratings/vehicle/audi/q5-4-door-suv/2024#front-crash-prevention-pedestrian
I know there's a history of these sort of tests not being a great match to real world performance, and so I'm wondering if Audi corporate can point me at some other third-party tests that would be reassuring. (My googling hasn't turned up anything.)
Does anyone have a good email address at Audi to ask these sort of pre-sales questions? The generic auditalk email address hasn't been very useful so far.
