I’m amazed on how good this thing drives, bought it 2 days ago, had a X5 F15 before and drove 7hours to pick the RS3 up, the drive home was a blast, over big mountains, quirky small tight roads, rain, dry pavement, everything, this little boyracer chewed it all up!

And not to mention the straight 5 sound, what a melody.

Coming from a M3 F80 with tune and a C63S, even tough the latter cars are superior on paper, the Audi just feels like its on tracks. Overboosting confidence giver. Love the feeling, 10/10 reccomend to those wondering to buy, i have beat the shit out of my m3 and amg as well, i almost feel its not fair to say the Audi is the more engaging drive, but fully understand those who appreciate RWD because it takes some balls to really push them compared to an Audi AWD.

Just wanted to share my toughts after a couple of beers on a saturday evening while looking forward to my next drive.

I’m coming from a mk7.5 GTI and tuning was pretty common. Does it work about the same with an Audi? I have a 2020 A3 S Line. Just curious if anyone here has done it and what has been your experience.

2008 S6, 89k miles

Working on restoring it as the prior owner left the body/paint pretty rough. So far have refinished/paint corrected all of the paint and restored the headlights. Have also done a ton of preventative maintenance to keep it running a while.

Been looking for like a 2013- 2017 A6 with the 3.0T.

Getting kind of confused about the supercharged option, are all the 3.0’s in those model years supercharged or just certain trims?

My dad is trying to crush my dreams of buying an A5. He says that Audis have huge problem with “fuel leaks” and 2 mechanics both told him to tell me to not buy one. whattt. This is the only car I want. If I just get a pre purchase inspection can’t they just tell me if that one has a fuel leak issue

As the title suggest I have broken the rear nearside spring on my S4 B9. I have lost the bottom ring and a half.

My question is - can i replace all my spring with racingline sports springs without replacing the shock absorbers? The reason behind this is i can get a set of springs for about £250 but a replacement single spring OEM is £200.

If i was to replace all the springs with the above would this be possible without replacing the shocks? Would there be any downsides even if possible?

Also do these springs lower the car at all or are they adjustable to ride at OEM hight and lower?

I'm looking for something sporty and reliable for a daily driver. This will be the only vehicle that I'll own. Audi A7 looks out of place for this list, but if this will be the one I own, I intend to do a stage 2/3 upgrade to the engine. I'm also open to suggestions, because maybe there's some better car/model that I didn't think about :)

I cant believe im asking this but i just bought Audi A6 c6 3.0tdi and i cant for the life of me get AC to blow cold air i managed to do it for a second and then i fucked it up again.

My wife lost her keys, and while every other key is easily rekeyed, the loss of the key fob for my 2019 etron Edition One (which she never drives) seems to be the most troubling, to me.

Is there a specific part #? Can it be sourced other than from a dealer? Cost of transmitter? Cost of programming? Cost of cutting the key blank? Is dealer the only possible source for any of this?

Any tips would be appreciated.

2008 Audi A4 2.0L BWT Vehicle had a slight surge under load for past three months. Has 169k miles. Past repairs: Low pressure and high pressure fuel pumps were replaced last year along with fuel filter and fuel rail sensor. PCV valve changed two months ago. Mass Airflow Sensor changed 2 months ago. This week: removed intake manifold, performed carbon clean on valves, removed plugs and cranked over to blow out any carbon that may have fallen into cylinder. Replaced all four injectors. Replaced spark plugs. Changed oil and filter. Start engine, smooth initially, as idle comes down/stabilizes begins to run rough. Misfire on cylinder 4. Swap coils - seems to move to cylinder 3. Replace all 4 coils - misfire on 4, swapping coils now doesn’t make a difference. Changing plugs makes no difference. Check for vacuum leak with carb spray, and then with propane- none found. Removed plugs, open and close door several times to see if injector leaking- no leak seen. Did compression test all approx equal 155-160 psi.

What am I missing? Only have a small Foxwell NT610, very slow. Initial codes were P0304, P0300 and if I remember right P0353? Something to do with circuit to coil #4. Now only getting P0300, and P0304, and rough idle. Off idle it feels like it is smoother. At idle steady rise in #4 misfire counter, off idle/slight rev 1000-1500, misfire counter doesn’t seem to climb.

Any ideas?

Long story short, family is getting bigger and i need a 7 seaters. After looking at several options like MDX, High Lander, mazda cx9, kia and other several cars, i ve set my eyes on an used q7. I cant afford new so i am looking at used from 2017-2018 and under 85k miles and i would like to ask people up here for inputs regarding reliability. How reliable is audi as i never owned one? I ve been driving toyota, acura and lexus all my life and i really want to try German but i have lots of concerns. Please help and thanks

Hey does anyone have the torque specs or a how to for the timing chain cover reseal on a 2009 audi a4 3.2 fsi b8?

Just picked up a 2019 A4 Premium Plus Quattro S-line a little over a week ago and I have been so very impressed. Considering I switched over from a 2007 Mustang GT, you can imagine my awe. Whether it's the Quattro, the upgraded suspension, the Bang and Olufsen sound system, or simply the better MPG, I've been falling in love.

I have already snagged and thrown in an IE cold air intake. Now I hear that beautiful turbo spool every-time I drive. I'll also be getting their stage 1 tune and intercooler very soon as well. I know it's just a 2.0T and I've heard the whole it's like putting lipstick on a pig metaphor but I enjoy small modifications. After I'm out of grad school and when the time is right, I'm sure I'll be looking at something in the S-series. However for now, I'm having a blast.

Want opinions… I have a 2018 B9 S4 with an APR Stage 1 tune and an exhaust. Love it-murdered out black everything, except red calipers and red guts. Carbon package.

Now- I drive in snow a lot in Tahoe. I want to be higher off the ground but don’t want to drive something boring and RSQ8s came to mind. Never driven one, but test drove some Cayenne’s and was bored to death.

Think an RSQ8 would be fun with a tune and downpipes but also surprisingly practical as the next car for me (only one parking spot so can’t have both).

Thoughts? S4 does great in snow too.
