(Bought in Aug 2021) 2022 Audi A6 Prestige. Any owners here? My hands-free trunk opener has stopped working for a couple of months now. Could it be a sensor issue?
The car has 20,000 miles on it.
I went to the dealership, and the tech/advisor said, 'Your car doesn't have that feature.'
I'm pretty sure I have this feature. Should I go to a different dealership or try a different advisor at the same dealership?
Does audi release 2017 A5 sline alignment specs. Hit curb have pigion toe : (
I'm not sure how I've had this car for a year (2023 A7 Prestige) and JUST now realized that the wheel design is directional and different left to right... Only snapped a left side view, but on the right side the inset black parts hook rear ward... It's not a big deal becuase you can only see one side at a time... But now that I've seen (realized) it... I can't unknown it. a ARGH.
Bought a 2022 SQ5 yeaterday and the dealer had installed brand new P-Zeros on it. I live in Chicago and I've never driven on summer tires. These P-Zeros are not it. It was in the high 50s/low 60s today and raining a bit and these things are like driving in ice. I was hooning a little bit and lost all 4 wheels multiple times. For context I'm coming from a tuned B8.5 Q5 3.0t that has more HP and torque than the new one (although longer gearing) with Conti Crosscontacts and I've never, ever, lost traction on it. This one feels like it'll break traction if you blow too hard on it. Given the weather in Chicago, I feel like I cannot use these tires.
So what do I do? Obviously I need new tires, but I have a set of brand new, relatively expensive tires. Its a white car with black optics and metal finish wheels which I don't love (would prefer black wheels to match the trim), so I could sell the wheels and tires as a set and just buy new wheels and tires. The alternative I'm thinking about would be to powder coat the wheels and get new tires, but it seems like a waste to throw away the basically new Pirellis.
Is there a market for barely used tires that have been mounted and unmounted? Should I keep them on the wheels and do summer and winter set (in Chicago this seems like not a great idea because we have 4 pretty different seasons but not a lot of heavy snow so my "winter set" would likely be all seasons anyway)? Or just trash the tires, powder coat the wheels and get a good set of all seasons?
I’m looking for an exhaust system for my 2020 Audi A5 Sportback. My car is part of the b9.5 generation but it doesn’t have the new engine , i have the same engine as the b9’s. With the 248hp at stock, only my tcu is part of the new gen tcu. I’m wondering if this means that even though my car is 9.5, since it has the b9 engine would i be able to put a b9 exhaust on it from per se, valvetronic or awe?
i know it’s most just cosmetic upgrades from b9-b9.5. and the engine change was one of the big changes , i just don’t know why there’s only exhausts for b9 and not b9.5. i’m really tryna put an exhaust on the car but since my car is like right between the old and new facelift then i’m confused on what will and won’t fit. I contacted integrated engineering, and they said that my ecu is able to be tuned but not my tcu because it’s part of the new gen. would yall be able to help me please 🙏🙏
if i missed any important info , let me know and i will reply back with the information
Does anybody know how I can lookup a MSRP sticker for a used vehicle for sale ? Vin# is WUAAWCF57NA902110 a 2022 Audi RS5 sportback bronze edition
First snow of the season, bring it on. Fav part of the year, rumbling cold starts, plowing through the snow better than most SUV’s, low DA, higher HP.
Hey there,
I'm from Australia and have never owned an Audi. We're looking for a mid-size SUV to replace our Subaru Forester. Right now, there are only two cars we're considering. The Maxda CX-5 top spec, or an Audi Q5. I know in terms of performance, style and class, the Audi outshines the CX5.
I've found one that is 2018, 50,000~ kms on it being sold by a dealer who supposedly resells trade-ins. All accounts it looks good, and was intending to go test drive it this week until I did a Google search and found so many horror posts on productreviews.com.au for the Q5. Engine rebuilds, dead transmission, 16k in the hole, the comments are endless. I appreciate that it is usually the bad experiences that motivate people to leave reviews, but the "bad reviews" that are left about the Mazda are way more trivial (seatbelt locks up, entertainment system disappointing, etc).
I realise no one can tell me I'm going to buy something that breaks, but how much of a concern should this be if all servicing has been kept up to date? I honestly can't afford a car that is going to have thousands of dollars of repairs. But I do really want it, ha!
Are there any obvious signs to look out for? I wanted to take it to my mechanic who is an Audi specialist, but they won't allow it to be taken there, I'd have to get an approved mechanic (by them) to come in and look at it.
I replaced turbo at 70k miles. What should I do? Keep it for another 50-75 k or dump it for another Audi or another car. The thing I hate the new Audi touch screen everything. Im gonna end up crashing.
Probably end up leasing the new Q5 next. I think i am over the A6 for now!!
They havent announced an A5 allroad or avant so really confused if they're just going to eliminate the lower trim wagons entirely.
i’m trying to put in a new radio into my 2006 Audi A4 1.8T. I got power to the radio, and the top right and middle speakers are working, but none of the other speakers are. I’m trying to figure what the color of the wires mean. I know what the harness colors mean, but not the actual cars. Please help me!
Blew the engine last year. Just got it back. I’m not even mad. Such a specimen.
Curious what are everyone’s thoughts on the changes?
I think the big buzz from the whole update is the kli-max which I’ve heard good things on (haven’t had the chance to run it that hard yet).
What I did notice was driving in S feels more.. crisp but feels heavier. I heard D feels the same as the old S mapping now so I may try that out later.
Hi all, I would really love to get some advice from all of you. Long story short I live in Massachusetts and found a 2013 RS5 I wanted to purchase in North Carolina. Drove down there to get it, when I came back to Mass and got it inspected turns out it needs a little less than half of what I paid for the car done in work. I have been in contact with the dealership in North Carolina about it and Audi Corporate but Audi Corporate isn’t doing anything about it and the dealership in NC just keeps stringing me along, saying they’ll ask their services dept for their report since they found nothing wrong with the car.
I spoke to a friend that’s a car person and a friend that’s a lawyer and these are the options they gave me:
The last thing I’m thinking of doing is doing the repairs and keeping the car. I’m just worried that if it already came with issues how many issues could arise in the future. Please give advice.
And also please no negative comments, I know this is all my fault I was just really excited to finally get one of my dream cars and this was definitely a learning experience.
