Audi a3 2014 ish cabriolet, how do i reset the tyre pressure light? Was a button in the glovebox on my old scirroco but couldnt see anything there .
These lads have been going through my car for the last 6 months on and off. Any idea how i can prevent them going forward?
Looking for a website that sells audi aftermarket and oe parts for a b8 s4 that ship from the eu specifically. Don't want any websites outside the eu as customs and vat is ridiculous here. Thanks
This better be fake….
Hi everyone, first time posting here!
Not sure if this is the right place, but hoping there are some mechanics around.
I drive an old Audi A4 1.9 TDI (PD130) with 360,000 KM, and yesterday I got an oil warning on the dashboard. I immediately went to the auto shop and bought the oil recommended by Audi.
Before adding oil, I checked the dipstick, and the level seemed fine, which I found odd. Still, I added 1L and continued driving. After 2-3 KM, the oil warning popped up again, so I added another 2L. The issue seemed resolved, but after driving a bit more, the warning came back.
Checked underneath—no leaks at all. This morning, I checked again, and there were still no oil drops. Interestingly, when I start the car and run the dashboard checkup, there’s no oil warning—only when driving.
Could this just be a faulty oil sensor, or is there something more serious going on? Given the car’s age, I’d rather not spend a ton fixing it if it’s not critical. Can I safely keep driving, or should I get it checked ASAP? Any DIY fixes I could try first?
Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!
Just got this bad boy recently and was looking to see if anyone had some advise as to what kind of tunes I can’t put on it/catpack systems. I use to run a Rs camero with flow masters and it sounding amazing. Trying to get something that crackles and pops but not be so aggressive. Lmk if you guys have any suggestions.
I've always wanted an A5 Cabriolet. Dream come true.
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for a used Audi Q5/SQ5 from 2021 or newer.
I’d like to ask for advice on which trims/features to pay attention to. For example, air suspension—I’ve never owned a car with this option and don’t really know what to expect from it. Is it worth the extra cost? Does it actually improve driving comfort?
I'm also interested in the seats. From what I’ve read, the SQ5 doesn’t have ventilated seats—is that true?
I'm also curious about seat massage. For those who have this luxury—how do you like it? Would you ever go back to "regular" seats after experiencing it? And is this option available in both models (Q5/SQ5)?
I'm considering the SQ5 mainly because it has better interior trim options compared to the Q5, which makes the search easier. The extra 100+ horsepower is probably nice, but it's not a deciding factor for me at the moment.
Do you have any other recommendations on what to look out for when choosing a car? Any hidden advantages of the SQ5 over the Q5 that you wouldn't notice until you experience them?
This is the most fun car I've ever owned!
Hi everyone so i recently purchased a 2016 Audi Sq5 with 73k miles for 18.8k otd. Car has paint damage but mechanically and interior is sound. So far I’ve put on 1000 miles on it and was wondering what i should do next. Maintance wise i’m planning on getting a trans flush and possible carbon cleaning on the 5000 mile inspection (oil change i do my self) but im wondering if i should do anything else before i start modding the car. I’m planning on doing 034 stage 2 with a 190mm crank pulley but im also wondering if i should get the billet crank case or whatever it’s called that comes with it for another 150. Car is good for now except maybe a POSSIBLE oil consumption? Oil level went down since i got it but im gonna remeasure today. Friend also mentioned one time and asked if i was running rich due to a smell… i haven’t seen any leaks or anything.
Hi there as the title says I’m looking to get an Audi a3, is there anything specific I need to look out for? I’m looking at 08’ and older and just curious what’s considered high mileage?
Hola! He visto muchas reviews del modelo 2016 B9 y la mayoría son muy positivas, pero quiero saber qué problemas mecánicos podría presentar y si son muy costosos. Tengo visto uno con 88.000kms
6 months with her….and I couldn’t be happier.
Hi all,
I’m recently going to change my tires. Kinda deciding between the PS4 A/S and Cinturato P7 A/S.
I drive a 2022 Audi A8L. 265/40/r20
I’m not an aggressive driver and would like the tires to be as smooth, quiet and as comfortable as possible. Also being able to handle snow as it snows a lot here in Canada.
I’ve had Continental Extreme Contact dws06 Plus on another car and it feels great. However, Continental doesn’t provide those tires in this car’s size.
Also open to other tires, doesn’t necessarily have to be these two.
Any thoughts and opinions?
Thanks, Jason

I don't want to make it sound like I have an incredible 1 of 1 spec or anything but I don't see many alum/nardo combos and want to sell to someone that loves the car like I do. Any tips?
Friends.. I need some advice! My lease on a 2022 Q5 premium plus is coming to an end next February 2026. I’ve had a couple of issues, the first was a leaking gas tank 2 months into the lease and the car wouldn’t start. Second continued with electrical and it easily gets dismissed at the dealership with “it’s a known and they’re working on an update” but no updates yet.
Wondering what I should do as next steps. Despite it all, I do really like the car. Anyways.. after my lease is up, I would still owe about $30,000. Wondering if it’s even worth keeping it.
I originally wanted a Q3 when I first leased the car, but given the market, there was no availability. Hence having the Q5!
Thanks in advance!
Wheel suggestions for S5 b8.5?
Has anyone dealt with their check engine light coming on after getting gas? This has happened to me about 3 or 4 times now. The light is constant not flashing. I make sure the cap is tight and hear the click, so not sure what I am doing wrong. It does eventually go away, but since it’s happened a lot, should I be worried? I made an appointment at the dealer in December when the light came on then, but canceled it once the light went away. The car runs fine. I have a ‘22 Q3. Thanks!
No instructions listed anywhere. I'm trying to figure out the recommended drying time between coats of base and coats of clear / how long to let base coat dry before applying the clear?
Like the title says i recently bought an 09 S5 V8 automatic. Im new to Audi’s and German cars in general but it had everything i wanted in a car and i enjoyed the test drive enough to go through with it. I dont have buyers remorse but the problem is im having trouble letting go of the anxiety of mechanical problems and cause of that i cant really let myself fully enjoy it as a semi daily. I have 2 other modes of transportation so getting to work isnt an issue but i dont want to be stuck with huge repairs bills.
The car i bought has 127,XXX miles and recently had the following stuff done within the last 7,000-10,000 miles: Full timing chain kit
All control arms on the front of the car with alignment
Plugs and coils
Front and rear main seal
Valve cover gaskets and engine mounts
Water pump and door lock fixed
Battery and injectors
Tires
Those are the big things. I know nothing is certain and no car is free from breakdowns. I did my research before i bought it and i know the control arms and timing chains are the big things which is why i was okay with buying it.
So i guess my questions are
Car is in really good condition and you couldn’t tell that it has over 100k miles on it. Thanks for any help/advice guys.
I have a customer with his a4 in the shop and they are looking to sell it. It’s a 2003 with the 1.8t and I believe the CVT trans.
I’m a BMW person and really know nothing about Audi but this one is pretty clean, only 72k miles, and it’s the original owner. Also a pretty cool blue color. I can get it for about $2000 and would love some insite. After doing some research the downs sides are it’s the 163hp motor and CVT transmission but I love the motor setup and turbo. Seems like it could be a decent daily that’s pretty easy to work on and maintain.
I’m looking to buy an Audi, preferably a small to midsize SUV. I currently own an Escalade and a Jaguar XK8, so I need something in between that I can use for my daily driver (and go fast because why not).
What would you all recommend?
Anyone know what this could be? Been to the dealer once and going back again in a couple days. They said an exhaust hanger wasn’t properly seated so fixed that and sent me home. Noise is still there! Like an exhaust leak but they are saying there isn’t one!
2024 SQ8 with Sports Resonator option, port installed.
Happens between 3-4K RPMs under heavier acceleration.
HELP!
