Hi so I recently just bought a new car for commuting to work it has 74k miles the service history shows that it got new engine mounts new brakes and a few other things done and just a week after bringing it home the brake fluid line had a leak and needed to be replaced and the brake disc on one side was completely ruined the clutch hasn’t been replaced since 2019 and no service history for a carbon flush I’m a bit concerned if that I had made the wrong decision or if this is just common maintenance for these kinds of car this is my first Audi so I’m not too knowledgeable I’d love some advice on things that are common to go out on this car or if I should just sell it and cut my losses before it I dig myself deeper into a money pit I can’t afford
Hi everyone, I recently got a 2023 Audi RS 6 and with the winter now here I need help getting the right set up down. What would you recommend for tires and rims? The car came with 22’s and from some reading I’ve done people say 21’s for the winter. Thanks!
2010 Audi A1, 1.4 TFSI S-Line :D
Recently got a 2021 Audi Q7, which came with two keys. However, only one of them seems to be linked to the car. In the MMI it says only one key is registered.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to pair/sync the key without taking it into an Audi dealer?
Seeing lots of suggestions online but none of them seem to work or are for older cars.
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys. I have a 2010 Audi A5 with nearly 150,000 miles and its misfiring on idle. The injector, plugins and coils seem to be fine. They suspect it’s due for a carbon buildup.
They told me that it is not guaranteed that it will be fixed after cleaning so its better to replace the engine which i cannot afford.
Has anyone had this service done recently? Or experienced something like this?
Not to crazy with my audi, sexy design but lacks everything else
Hi there I’m looking to purchase a 2015 Audi A3 1.2 TFSI, manual, I’ve come from a 1 series bmw which was full of problems, the A3 I’m looking at has 101,000 miles on it 4 owners, Are there any main-maintenance problems or issues I have to deal with, I’m not bothered about discs/pads etc I can get that sorted, I’m worried about more serious things such as timing chains or water pumps and other issues, Also does anyone know the engine code, I believe it is a CUZA, CYVB but I maybe wrong, if anyone could help that would be great, thanks
I’m in USA. It is recommended I use 91 octane fuel but at least 89. Most places around me either have 89 or 93. Which one is the better option or is it worth it to drive the extra couple miles for 91?
I got this message and it turns out a mouse or rat crawled up into my engine bay and chewed a bunch of wires. The car is at the shop now but they haven’t let me know if they found anything dead that caused the damage.
I’ve already set rat traps around my garage. I park in a driveway at a friend’s house that’s right next to a horse farm so the rat probably came from there when I was visiting. Is there anything I can put on or in my car that would deter those little rat bastards from crawling inside to get warm?
Hi guys,
I’ve decided I want to upgrade my B9.5 with a B9.5/B10 Allroad, but I can’t find any indications that a B10-version will be released for the foreseeable future. It seems like the B9.5 Allroad will be ongoing throughout 2025 in the US, but not in the EU.
I hope someone here has some information on if/when Allroad models will be available again now the A4 B9.5 is discontinued in EU.
And what will happen to the A6 Allroad now the A6 has gone electric?
Tried doing a first time oil change on a 2019 audi a5, read a description of what the oil change nut looks like and started. turns out I drained one of the trans fluids, called the dealer they said there’s 2 different ones, I’m not sure which one I need there are 2 different plugs I drained it out of this one any help would be appreciated
Recently purchased a Q5 from 2012 it has the mmi connector in the glove box plugged my phone in and the system won't recognise it. Also I can connect my phone via Bluetooth to the car but it only lets me use a call function and not play music. Is there anything I can plug into the mmi so I can use my phone's music Spotify etc etc? Im on android btw.
Cracked headlight causing condensation started shooting a malfunction minder due to a short.
Solutions anybody? Tried and true resealing method? Oem replacement is ridiculous. Only found 1 potential aftermarket upgrades/replacement.
I am considering doing this work as my Q7 isn’t charging the battery when running and I seem to get every warning message including one about the alternator.
I’ve had my Q5 for about a month and am getting frustrated with the remote start. I really wish it was on the key in addition to being in the app.
Does the emergency break need to be engaged for remote start to work?
It seems to take a while to work even when it does work.
Starting from iOS 18.1
Unfortunately don’t have an exact time, but I did look at the frames of the video on an editing software and calculated it at 3.87 seconds roughly. That’s with a passenger. I’m curious to see how fast it’d be without a passenger.
They were fun to fit. 😬 also expensive.
Having issues with some of the features on my 18 S5. Is updating the MMI risky? Additionally, would it provide new features to the car or give improvements to already existing systems such as the lane keep assist?
Anyone have a suggestion on a safe way to clean (remove fingerprints) from the MMI screen?
Thanks
I opened my phone today and saw that I can no longer see in the widget the status of my car and few other details. All I see are Fuel level and Range.
In the app I can't see the status of the car like windows, doors, sunroof, etc. It's gone. Any ideas whats going on? I was able to lock and unlock after deleting the widget and clearing the cache/data on my Android.
Anyone else having this issue?
