Apart from (current) lack of air con, the ideal camping vehicle.
Hi all
What do yall think for a daily in central Texas. Volvo v60 or Buick regal tour X. They both seem great in their own way. Just curios for those who’ve been in one or the other. I know budget is a little spread apart but I don’t mind paying more for something that I like/is premium etc
Edit: After some discussion and thought; think I’m leaning towards tourX - with some mods in the near future. For its more affordable value and standard premium features.
Texas can be a little rough on the road in some parts, especially working downtown in a big city. Don’t really want to worry the money I spent on a car that’s going to get driven daily and in some cases “hard.”
Thanks for everyone’s input.
My wife and I just purchased a slightly-used 2022 Volvo V90 Cross Country. We've had it a day, and I'm already in love with it. I cannot wait to use this thing in all the ways we can: roadtrips, camping, just hauling the dogs around.
If you'd asked me a week ago, I would've sworn we'd get an Audi A6 Allroad. But, we looked at a new Volvo V60 to see if it would fit our dogs. It would, but it was snug - as is the A6 Allroad due to its sloping liftgate. So, we opted for the larger V90. They only had the one with around 20k miles, but it's CPO so we went with it.
Honestly, I don't know how I ever lived without a wagon!
Know a team working on a production concept for this. Would love to chat with anyone interested.
I've loved wagons since my childhood when my friend's dad drove us around in the back of his old station wagon. This is my 04 H6 outback. Its my daily driver and I just installed a lift. Doing more maintenance now and then want to swap out the fenders for some proper ones (it currently has Baja fenders on it, that's why it has holes).
