Hey guys needed your help on a incident which happened a few days back.
A couple of days back a company vehicle hit my wife new car and she told the driver that we need to register the accident to the police but the drivers didn't listen and ran off. Luckily my wife took the car picture and the vehicle license picture.
So we register the complaint to the traffic authority office. The authority called the owner of the vehicle,The owner was not aware of the accident and sent over their driver.
The police upon inspection found that the cause of the accident was on the company driver. And they register the incident then they (police) found out that their car was not insured.
We are following up with them if they had completed the insurance part of their car so we can process from our end. But now they are not even attending our calls.
Please let us know what we should do next.
History: I got rejected for b1b2 in Feb 2024 and then got rejected for f1 in June 2024.
Now I have deferred my masters program for the January 2025 intake. I haven't changed my course or my university at all. It's all the same.
I have another f1 interview date in UAE booked for July 2025 but when I asked the embassy to expedite before my classes start, they didn't accept saying there aren't any slots left even though I sent them my SEVIS ID etc.
Now I am desperate to go to any other gulf country and try my luck for another f1 interview.
I am thinking Bahrain but what is the success rate for someone who resides in UAE going for interview in another country? Has anyone gone through anything remotely similar?
Ps. I also have schenghen visa and UK visa and have travelled these countries AFTER my second rejection.
I even have scholarship for my course for this semester which I didn't have for my last one.
So if they ask me how has your situation changed, am thinking of saying all of this. I honestly don't know what's the right or wrong answer here.
Please anyone with any sort of advice, kindly help me as I honestly don't know what to do anymore 😔
Hey all. 2 months ago I got a ticket for speeding. In that same month I got a ticket for crossing a red traffic light. I remember I never crossed a red traffic light before. Is there a way to check the picture or footage?
Also the tickets right now are discounted to 50%. Is there a time limit on the discount? How long until it the discount is no longer there?

I bought my apartment a few years ago in Bahrain. I am now looking at renting it out as I have outgrown the space.
What are the procedures I have to follow to become a landlord in bahrain as a foreigner.
Are there any issues I may face and any advice from any other landlords in bahrain? Are there property managers here that I can use or better to just go at it on my own.
All advice appreciated!
Today the Time Out Market opens officially for public at City Centre. Seems to be good to visit for an experience from the videos I’ve seen. I heard they serve alcohol there too however it seems to be lowkey.
I have a vacation soon and won’t be able to travel 😭 anyway all my friends only play padel at night, I wanted some people to play with in the morning like 10AM til noon or something like that, if anyone is interested lemme know!
Any level is fine I’m not trying to go pro, just having fun

is there a good place that I can buy mobile phone in Bahrain at installments ? I don't want any scammers and the options with operators like STC are limited.
Saw an SUV burnt on highway going towards Hidd this afternoon, anyone knows what happened? I hope and pray the people in the car are okay
I have all the paperwork ready, just need someone to submit them.
For the mods, yes, I asked the Japanese but they couldnt recommend anyone.
I looked online but there are none listed for Japan specifically and the ones who replied to calls only serve other countries, mainly European.
VFS don’t have any options for Japan.
I also asked my cat, just to make sure. He just meowd.
In the patch of land next to our house, people are throwing leftover food to feed pigeons. They don't care that now an entire side of our house is completely covered in pigeon shit because of what they're doing.
The problem is that many different people are doing it. It's like everyone from miles away comes to this spot to dump crap for the pigeons. So I can't talk to them all. And as a result there is constantly hundreds of pigeons in this spot during the day.
What can I do?
The last couple of nights there have been really loud noises around 2/3am in Juffair. Sounds like bombs but that’s obviously not what it is. Anyone know what it could be?
Hey everyone , I own a healthy restaurant brand based in UAE with 4 branches and counting
I have a plan to open a branch in Bahrain, what is the best area in terms of dine in and delivery with the most popular gyms around the area.
I have been there a few weeks ago and will plan to go there again to finalize everything
Really looking forward to this as I see a big gap in the healthy food market there
Best regards
I have a layover of about 10 hours in bahrain before I take my next flight to doha.I was wondering if I could go pearl diving instead of sitting in the airport lounge. Could someone please help me with the process and give me some contact numbers if you have any. Also please recommend some stuff I could do in 10 hours in Bahrain. This is my first time here.
i've just given up buying fruits/veggies through Talabat...
it's like supermarkets just use it to get rid of their bad produce -- the stuff no seeing person would ever pick out.
so what does everyone use for fruit/veggie deliveries?
For vitamin deficiency and general health check.
Just recently I noticed Instagram in Bahrain is giving weird Audio Rights Issue. They don’t allow you to tag an audio or have a song in the reel. The reel gets posted without an audio .. I don’t see this issue when I use it from Dubai or any other region.
Only a few chances of seeing the space station this month.

There is a Meteor shower which peaks 13th 14th which is normally visible. Called the Geminids if you want to look up the details. It's best to be outside for about 15 or 20mins in the dark to let your eyes adjust - I think it falls around the same time as the new moon which may make spotting them difficult.
My bird is very sick. It’s a baby cockatiel. She’s not eating or moving much, keeping her eyes closed most of the time even during the day. I notice her sneezing from time to time. Her body temp seems high. She drops green and watery. She drinks more water than usual. She used to be very active. I am a student and low on budget. If someone could suggest me vets with low cost. Also if anyone had similar experience or idea and knows what could I do to help her or any home remedies. If someone knows of any meds that I could find in the vet pharmacy. That would be very helpful. Also how is Bahrain Falcon hospital in case of cost?
Where is tge best place to buy a decent christmas tree? I've bought a couple of time s from Carrefour and others, but is there any place where we can find a hood one for decent price and whoch can stay on for a few years?
My name is ildar, I am originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia. My wife and I live in Bahrain and we work in a local company. We are not Muslims, but as Tatar by nationality I studied in Islamic school when I was a kid. From my studies there I remember that artistic practice is encouraged during Ramadan, as long as it does not go against Ramadan values or Islamic values in general. I also believe that Ramadan values, such as charity, community support and spiritual maturity are universal and do make a lot of sense regardless of religion. During Ramadan 2025 I want to go for a road trip: Bahraun, KSA, UAE, Oman and on my way create media artworks that would communicate Ramadan values in abstract form. I will be using screens, projections, lasers. I want to do it in empty locations like deserts, mountains, wild beaches etc. I will be also fasting myself during daylight as a matter of respect. Please tell me what you think of such a practice? Is there anything I should consider? For example I'm going to have printed texts in Arabic explaining what I do and why for occasions of meeting non English speaking people. Can I have any problemce with police? Kindly let me know what you think.
