Hi All, I need guidance or advice on this matter. To give you some background, I’m a software engineer working for a mid level MNC under a mainland visa and now I have an offer from a direct competitor under difc freezone. Now by mistake, I revealed to my current employer where the offer is from and they are threatening me to enforce a non compete and send a legal notice to me once i join them which will force me to resign from that other employer.

I’m really struggling right now and very stressed out about this situation. Any legal guidance from a lawyer here would be really helpful and appreciated.

Hello! First time traveling with self-transfer flights.

Do I need a transit visa if my flights are from Manila to Dubai (via Cebu Pacific) and then from Dubai to Baku (Azerbaijan Airlines)? If so, how do I get one? It’s not very clear online, and some sites for visas seem questionable.

I have a 15-hour waiting time in Dubai before my next flight to Baku. I also have checked luggage that I need to pick up.

Help! So I can process this as soon as possible because my flight is near. Thank you!

Hello I'm currently in Canada and I hold a work permit here. I want to visit dubai as my father stays there. My issue is I can't find any website or portal to apply for the visa. I'm thinking of multiple entry travel visa. Has anyone applied from Canada ? Do we get to do e visa? I'm clueless

I’d like to kindly ask for advice on how to retrieve my security deposit from my landlord. I have notified them about the early termination of my tenancy contract, with one month remaining in the property (according to contract).

Could you please advise on the steps I should take to ensure the return of my deposit?

Additionally, I haven’t been able to find any information on the legal deadline by which the deposit should be returned. Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, don’t live in Dubai but I have a friend who needs rehab for prescription medication/ not any illegal substance. Does anyone have any idea if there are any rehabs in Dubai (in patient) that have a proper programme? We are in the region and just seems like if any country has one it might be Dubai.

I had booked a cleaner from UC in September for AED 450 (1bhk apartment, 3x visits weekly). It renewed for 550 next month. Now the same subscription is renewing for AED 880, crazy hike in price.

When I asked on help center, lady told me that they have new pricing on that specific category and told me to use a coupon which reduced the price to 812. I said its still expensive i am not gonna renew my subscription.

Please suggest me any reasonable alternative of UC cleaning services which does increase prices every month.

I have looked at applying for a visa through GDFRA. Are they legit? For a GDFRA visa is entry solely through DXB (in and out) or can I leave through Abu Dhabi or Sharjah?

Otherwise I was looking at Regal Travel Agency. Are those guys legit as well? But I noticed applying through GDFRA is a lot cheaper than going through Rrgal Travel Agency?

I am a Permanent Resident in Aus and I have a Philippines passport. I have a holiday planned on the 28th of November flying from Singapore to Dubai returning on the 10th of December flying with Emirates airlines.

During my trip to the UAE, I am flying from Sharjah International Airport (driving from Dubai to Sharjah) to fly from Sharjah to Doha for the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix flying on the 28th of November with Qatar Airways. I am returning from Doha to Sharjah on the 2nd of December via Air Arabia and spending the rest of my holiday from the 2nd of December to the 10th of December in the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) I understand I need a Qatar visa as well but that is being sorted online.

To my understanding, this requires a Multiple Entry 30-Day Tourism Visa. I have contacted Emirates Airlines who I am traveling to Dubai with and they said that I am unable to get a multiple entry visa through them as my flight from Sharjah to Doha and Doha to Sharjah is not with Emirates.

I need some help with my visa situation. I recently got a job offer but I was on canceled visa and I had a few days of overstay. As per company policy they can't issue visa on overstay and no I have paid the fine and got an Outpass and I am going back to my home country to sort out my visa.

I plan to apply for a visit visa to return to Dubai, and my company will then start my employment visa process. As Amnesty scheme extended two more months but I'm unsure if they are being issued as usual. Could someone please help me understand if Dubai is currently giving visit visas under this new extension?

I’ve got a Muhrem (not-allowed-to-work) golden spousal visa through my wife.

My company is happy for me to continue working from them from Dubai but they don’t want to set up an entity and will terminate my employment contract and will hire me as a contractor.

The idea I had in mind was to apply for a freelancer licence under offering Tech services and invoice my current employer monthly. My clients will be mostly in the UAE but will get paid by the UK company. (For those wondering I work in tech sales).

I have three questions:

1. Is this the best and right way to go about this?
2. If the freelancer licence is the best way- am I allowed to work in tech sales under ‘tech’ section? (It doesn’t specify this on the application)
3. Since I am not allowed to work under my current visa- do I need to take any steps before applying for the freelancer license to convert my not-allowed-to-work visa or will this be automatically updated once I apply through the portal?

I'm planning to invest in US ETF from UAE(Resident). I came across two international brokers Interactive and Etoro. The charges are more or less in buying ETF, but the Transfer/conversion charges are seems too high. I'm holding ADCB bank, their charges are 105 AED. For monthly SIP 500$ the amount 105 AED is too High. Could someone please suggest a better broker or best way to transfer money internationally. TIA
