I've checked out a few but can't seem to find one that stands out among the others. I have a bit of experience (probably HSK1.5) so I'd be looking for an advanced beginner class or so. Can anyone recommend a school, hopefully with a strong community of adult learners?

Anyone see weird lights and a spotlight type deal in west area by west lake hills? It’s dim and only pops up every few minutes but it’s been consistent for about 10 min now.

I’ve found tons of fans of bands I love…but no bars that have bands or just casually play the OG rural Michigan/chicago vibes. WHERE ARE THEY?

I know it’s raining but this was not lightning. Almost looked like when a transformer blows but it was too high in the sky to be that.

My friend does not have Covid as we tested for that. Is there a virus going around That is just a chest cough and sore throat and generally not feeling well? No fever either.

So I am gifting my car to my son because I'm tired of all the toll bills. He works a lot, me, not so much. Can I transfer it to him without him being there, as long as I have all relevant paperwork (copy of license, proof of insurance)? Thanks!

I have gone downtown twice in the last two weeks and came face to face with a celeb each time.

Last week I literally ran into Johnny Knoxville on 6th St. I bummped into him, did a double take and said 'HEEYYYY' real loud and obnoxious, likely ruptured his ear drum. Lol. Hey just walked away. Poor guy.

Today we had brunch downtown (Phoebe's) and The Falcon, Anthony Mackie came into the restaurant! All the staff was buzzing. My wife and I sent their table some shots and one of his crew came and took a pic with us. Turned out to be a well known actor as well named Rob Morgan. We got dabbed up on the way out. Made for a great brunch!

I hadn't had a car wash since late July. I held out all week and today, thinking the rain was never going to happen, finally got one around 5:45pm. Less than 10 minutes later it started raining on my drive home, and now it's pouring at my house. Looks like I'll be going back again soon.

is there a place in Austin that has classes on how to develop your own 35mm film ? Darkroom classes ?

The library downtown has 2 areas available for community events. The larger downstairs space has a very nice catering kitchen attached. Sounds great, right?

It's a literal nightmare to work with their event team. What they tell their client vs what they tell the vendors just never lines up. I guess my question is what gives?
