BEER: Fierce Benevolence
A fruit tea infused Red Kettle Sour with Citrus Ginger, Strawberry Guava Breeze, and Rizzin Raspberry teas from our friends at The Steeping Room. This beer brings fierce notes of an array of fruits, citrus, sour red candy straws, guava, and tones of natural infused tea. This once in a lifetime beer has a deeper more complex flavor than most kettle sours; all while being slightly tart but not overly sour. Finishing with a slight caramel-malt sweetness while bursting with benevolence and beauty through every sip, it’s truly something to behold! 5% ABV

I have a friend coming to visit that wants to experience the bar scene and meet people. We’re both age 26 and I don’t often go out to day drink on the weekends so I’m not sure anymore where everyone goes. What’s the most popular spots for day drinking on the weekends these days? Used to be Rainey before all of the demolition but idk if that’s still the case so looking for recommendations/opinions
Hey guys. I was out of town this weekend, and it looks like yall hit the store hard. I'm working on a lot of the suggestions. Orion should arrive tomorrow. I got a list of just a few things that are available to me today. Yall let me know what you'd be interested in getting at your Lake Austin HEB.
Since my last trip to Cabo fly fishing on the beach with a guide who brought along a six-pack of Indio, I’ve been casually looking for Indio locally here in Austin. After a deep dive online I just decided to ask my local liquor store if they thought they could get it in. They say yes and that I’d be drinking it by next weekend (1/25/25). However I am skeptical since it’s no where I can find in ATX. Reportedly it’s in Dallas, Houston, and San Antone. So I’m posting here for any well wishers or hopefuls like me to update you and share. If anyone has cracked the code locally please let me know.
Hey y'all. What are your favorite breweries in town?
I love trying new beers and visiting new spots.
Greetings all. My brother and I will be descending upon your fair city this weekend after I finish up a conference in town. We're looking to visit a few breweries. My tastes are broad but my brother is most interested in stouts and porters. We also prefer smaller, quieter bar-centered taprooms to rowdy or "family-friendly" outfits. We're staying downtown but don't mind ride-sharing to a good spot. Any recs?
Hi, pals!
Hi Sign is stacking our event schedule. I'm so excited to share all the different ones we're hosting this month! The Wooderson lookalike contest tomorrow should be a hoot!
Hope to see y'all on Shady Lane soon <3
*event calendar posted in the comments!
They are out of crowlers and most merch(unless you’re a member) but are selling all of their glasses and steins still.
RIP to Vulcan IPA if anyone has any recs for a similar type beer let me know.
Closing January 12th. Just got an email.
Mark your calendars for February 1st at 11am!
Year of the Wood Snake!
There are so many places to have a couple drinks in Austin. One of my favorite influencers just posted a Google maps list to some food trucks, and I thought it was so cool! Thought I’d start somewhere for everyone to share their favorite bar/brewery Google maps list for the Austin Metro Area.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hi! We're here in Austin today specifically to visit breweries. We're looking for recommendations for those that are unique, true to style, or fun. Looking for quality beer over quantity of breweries, though we have been known to fit up to a dozen breweries in in a day.
Any open right now for breakfast to get us started?
Thanks in advance. You can follow our stories on @thelandofdrinkin to see who we visit throughout the day.
I used to love JK merch when I lived in Austin, but it seems they shut down their online store (?) Does anyone know if it is still possible to get that sweatshirt? Im dying for it!
Where can I find a great stout on tap right now? I would prefer a brewery making their own brew but I am open to whatever.
Hey,
Just moved to this part of Austin. Does anyone know good places that do growler fills - large pressurized ones if possible - in the Bee Cave, Lakeway Four Points area?
Thanks!
