I've been watching lots of these Lego-Brick mechanism and machinery videos on YouTube and I'm curious if there are any games, where you're able to do similar crafts.
Hello¡
Recently discovered two games I loved: Expeditions Rome and Last Train Home. They were fantastic but no game has given me the same impression: I played and didnt enjoy 10% as much as those:Expeditions Vikings, Partisans 1941, COH, Ancestors Legacy, 63 Days, War Mongrels, Wasteland 3(fine but not my cup of tea), XCOM, Gears Tactics, Field of Glory,Jagged Alliance 3 and Warhammer gladius.
I prefer historical games and do not like stealth at all unless its very easy and i dont like anime-cartoon game likes no matter how good they are, i just dont enjoy them.
Any game recommendations?
Heard about Hard West, Desesperados and Classified France but all seem to have stealth.
Thank you so so much

Can anybody who's played the updated Fresh Start game please tell me the locations of the lanterns in the Egypt map (the fennec fox sanctuary). I must have looped around 4 times and I still can't find the last lantern and I haven't been able to find any walk-throughs of that particular map.

Is it just me or is something awry with the current state of the gaming industry. There hasn't been a single game to capture my attention to the point where I'd be looking forward to jumping back to the last save I had in the game. The last game that had it going for me was Elden Ring and that's a couple years back already. When I was younger I thought that with enough budget and advanced tech, there'd be so much to play, but there's virtually nothing for me in this field it seems.
The games that I profoundly enjoyed from the last couple of years I can seriously only point out the Elden Ring and Red Dead Redemption 2. I love RPG's the most and always loved the Fallout series, loved 1 and 2, enjoyed 3 and New Vegas. Recently I tried to get back to Fallout 4 but it's just nothing but a hollow experience, mediocre writing, mediocre quests, mediocre everything in that game, none of the charm of the old games and no fun factor for me, only grinding and grinding and mindless killing of ghouls and goons.
I just want to jump into a game which will let me explore the world, watch how my character gets build up, how his inventory fills up with miscelaneous stuff, enjoy the experience of progression, interact with memorable figures, find myself in unpredicted situations and just relax on my couch and teleport to another world. There's not a single new game that'll allow me to experience this feeling now. Don't get me started with the Horizon saga, that's just the pinnacle of bad unoffensive mediocre state of gaming that we are in right now.
Sure, there are tons of indie games, sure I appreciate the originality of them and artistic value they bring, but it doesn't fulfill me at all, it's like an appetizer for the main course which never comes. The graphics are no issue for me, but majority of them feels like they should be played on switch, playing them on a big tv screen makes absolutely no sense to me. I see a lot of japanese games always being recommended but that's a no go for me, all of them I've ever tried were just over the top cringe indusing experiences to me - there's always someone praising some japanese game for it's deep themes and amazing narratives, but in reality it's always some kind of fetishized infantile quirky cliché characters in extremely convoluted stories.
Is there really nothing engaging for me to play? I'm warily looking forward to playing Stalker 2 which might scratch this itch for me when it comes to PS.
Hey All. So I know I’ve posted a lot lately on my RSI issues in both of my arms, but there are some additional problems that I’ve been facing lately with my neck that I thought would be worth addressing. I’m trying to see a neurologist about the situation, but I’ll share what I can.
To put it simply, I have recurring vertigo when I turn my head, even to the point where I become congested and my vision blurs a bit. Additionally, the problems get severe at night if I don’t keep my head secure, causing me to wake up feeling very disoriented and distressed. Recently it got to a point where my left arm and the left side of my head started feeling distressed, which has me concerned.
Regarding my current systems, I have two surface computers, a Steam Deck, a Nintendo Switch, a PlayStation 4, and several controllers including an arcade stick, joycons, DualShock 4 and switch pro controller.
Again, I’m working hard to see a specialist about this situation, but I am curious if anyone might relate to some of these issues or have any recommendations for how to accommodate this hobby of mine, I would appreciate it.
Hey my boyfriend wants the black ops 6 for his birthday but I don't know nothing about games I notice that PlayStation is selling it but I don't know if it will ship to my house or just somehow connect to my game set because it made me make an account also I am based in Canada if you have cheaper options lemme know. He has a ps5 and on PlayStation it says it's a cross gen bundle is that a good option to buy.
A couple of years ago I used to play this computer game on my browser. It was a survival game with a night and day cycle. You had a grid with multiple materials to build your base, and at night you had to protect yourself from monsters by crafting weapons. It was a very simple, 2D game, but I can't find it anywhere.
Does anyone recognize the game I'm talking about?
Gutten Morgen,
Can anyone explain me how this feature works? How does it change everything so flawlessly and without needing for it to load or something?
And for those how don't know what I'm talking about, in some remastered games of recent years there is a specific feature where you can switch between old and new graphics of said game on the fly.
Some examples of games with this feature are The Master Chief Collection and Tomb Raider I-III Remastered.
Hello, Im a poor kid. I really love playing minecraft but I don't have the money to buy it. So if somebody here kind enough to buy me minecraft It would mean a world to me. thanks :)
hello so this is a really weird request, but does anyone know any like rpg/lootershooter single player games?? i’ve been looking for a game that kind of combines FO4, FONV, and rust. like a survival rpg game where you can have an open world that i can just do whatever i want and build bases. i wanna do like supply runs and shit for my community’s and worry about rival communities while building reputation with others. that shit sounds so fun so if you guys have ANY suggestions of something like this i’d be very appreciated🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have had this problem for quite a bit now, and have gotten extended bans on games like Valorant. The specs of my computer are Intel Core i5-11600KF 3.9GHz, 16GB DDR4, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, 500GB NVMe SSD, and 1TB HDD. I have reset my computer, deleted and redownloaded games, and updated my drivers, but nothing seems to work. Within a few minutes of getting into a game my computer crashes, and restarts itself. PLS HELPPP
Hey guys! I’m a current high school student I’m AP Research class and I want to write a paper on the subject of the development of (preferably) kids and young adults on the autism spectrum who play creative-drive video games versus neurotypical people around the same age who also play these games. Any input helps and no questions on the survey are too personal! Thank you so much!
Not sure if this is the right subreddit so sorry if not, but I wanted to see if there are any games about or including working on 2 stroke engines. Similar to car mechanic simulator or wrench. I haven’t played motorcycle mechanic simulator as I’ve heard there’s no 2 stroke engines, is that true? Thanks.

I remember watching a YouTuber, unfortunately I can’t remember who they are, play this game that I remember loving watching. Unfortunately I don’t remember a whole lot about it, but I remember you playing as a little boy and I think you are running away from a witch. I remember them getting a pair a scissors, which act as the main weapon/item they use, that were the size of their body and would drag them through the air/whatever they were being used on. There was also a Japanese inspired level and a western inspired level, and I believe you are on a train in that one. I think you also have to collect golden items or keys throughout the levels, but I know for sure that you get a golden bone at the end of one level with a dog in it. If anyone has any ideas on what game this is I would really appreciate it, I would love to go back and watch the videos.
I have loads of usable items, but cannot seem to select them or link them to my gamepad.
I've tried on two different systems, can't figure it out.
I usually work 10-12 hours shifts everyday and want to wind up and chill down by playing something nice before heading to the bed. Any suggestions?
I'm on the part of cod cold war zombies where I have to build the aetherscope but I can't find the parts I'm checking where youtube is telling me but I can't find it can someone help.

Should I buy Astro bot for 20 dollars or Helldivers for completely free? Money isn’t a big deal at all unless y’all think they’re both neck in neck in quality. At the end of the day I want to get the better game between these two thanks in advance!
i need to find free no download websites to cure my boredome and i would like some suggetions
My disk C: is a Corsair MP600 PRO XT and My disk D: is a Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB.
The reason why i'm asking is because my main disk has more space taken than my secondary one which comes to my question if it matters what disk the game is downloaded in.
Hey All. So I've been facing RSI issues for the last couple years, and I am going to be seeing a neurologist soon who will hopefully help me get to the root of the problem. Unfortunately (and fortunately), I had backed several games on Kickstarter before my condition set in, including the fantastic Wario-like Antonblast, and I need to select a platform to redeem my pledge on before the end of the week. I do love this game, having grown up on Wario titles for years, but am having trouble deciding which platform would be better to experience this title on that would cause me less stress. As for my condition, I have a lot of stress in my neck, though primarily recurring tendonitis in both arms, carpal tunnel in the left and cubital tunnel in the right. As for devices, I have a laptop and desktop, several controllers and an arcade stick, an LCD Steam Deck, and an original Nintendo Switch with detachable joycons. My initial plan was to redeem my pledge copy for Steam first and then possibly get the game physically for the Switch, but if it would be better for me to go with one system over the other for a game of this genre with the inputs that I have, I would appreciate the input.
