Please help me find this creature.

Okay. So I don't know where I saw it. But I can describe it. It had a humanoid body but no arms. No face but it's face was replaced was a vertical mouth that goes down to its torso. The mouth was open and surrounded by teeth. That's all I remember and I keep seeing it in my dreams.

Which (non-arcade) games you think are unfairly hard ?

I single out arcade and fighting games because they're designed to be as unfair as possible to gobble credits

Idk where else to ask this since the games subs block free communication, so I guess I’m trying here.

TLDR, League of legends’ pages basically delete any attempt to talk about anything meaningful, so I’m hoping a few people here have an actual opinion on going back into the game or not. Sorry for formatting/spelling I’m on mobile.

I love part of this game, what should I do? I had league on a new pc, but I quit league when Vanguard came out and apparently, according to riot & Necrit, I am nonexistent. Because all the people who left were either replaced, or never left to begin with. The reason I left was threefold: I didn’t want “Spyware”, I had a brand new computer that I didn’t wanna break or slow down with free to play games, and I figured if nothing else this would free up a lot of time for me to do other things in my life. Well, it totally did free up a lot of time, but I don’t do a whole lot. I don’t hang out with many, I don’t go out often, so really it just became extra time to either watch something new, create something small, or self reflect, and give my dog extra long walks. But I have no friends near me. So naturally, I miss the friends that I made online and I miss the community that I built running 99% ARAMs. I miss being able to interact with people without having to interact with people. I bought a bunch of games for the steam summer sale, but I’ve barely opened them, because every time I do, I am slapped in the face with a new EULA that I have to look over to make sure I’m not getting watched in game or worse. I feel like I could move forward and play other games, but something about the devil you know may be easier to operate alongside of because at least you know what they’re like. I don’t know what else I’m getting into out there, so I just talk myself into not doing anything. Apparently my nonexistent ass was the only one doing real good at being in the forums but not in the game. I think when everybody else left, they cut ties with everything, probably unsubbed or muted most league subs. I don’t know how many others are like me, again, apparently none. I was going to come back for my birthday, but then they canceled the skin that was “supposed” to happen for my main, so what’s a little more time? But I truly feel the itch to come back. I miss the tiny healthy fast competitive nature ARAMs give vs playing with a “team” who is never there til min 20. Hell, I could just focus on my life and say no to the game altogether again for even more time, maybe I really should, but something is very hard about getting “past” one of the best online games ever. What other game has stayed as relevant as long? I feel like I’m holding out for nothing. Idk. So here’s the thing- 1. I have no way to prove it, but Twice since Vanguard I have seen the riot logo flash when just starting my pc -again, I never updated- so I probably already have it on this pc, which is horrible, terrifying in a way, but also at least my pc didn’t bite the dust like so many were initially reporting and like I was afraid of. 2 The pc is still nice and new, but if vanguard may already be running, then why not play? 3. I’m not going to let league take over, but as a lot of the things I like to do are outdoors, and winters suck around here, I find myself about to say f it and just redownload league. Tell me I’m wrong. Or tell me I’m right. Do I stay away, or jump back into the Frey?

What are actual simulation games either from Japan or taking place in Japan?

Not just racing, all kinds of simulation are allowed. Construction, economics, management, sports, all kinds of vehicle, military, fishing, etc.

What Do You Think the Gaming World Is Missing? Seeking Input for a New Game

Hey everyone,

I'm in the early stages of building a game and would love to hear from the community. As gamers, what do you feel the gaming world is currently missing or lacking?

Whether it's a feature, gameplay mechanic, story element, or something totally new that you'd like to see, I’m open to all ideas. I want to build something that resonates with players and adds value to the gaming experience, so your input is incredibly valuable.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and sparking some creative discussions!

Thanks!

What video game recommendations what you make for someone who is looking to get into games?

Hey, I'm hoping that people on here could help me out with recommending some games that they think would be great for someone who is looking to get into gaming. For context I have friend in his 20's who's never really touched a video game but is now looking to get into it, I have gave him so recommendations myself but don't want him just going off a single person's opinion since he's willing to try anything.

Offline

Hey all, hope all is well.

Is there a way to play Fifa23 or FC25 completely offline, without the need of the EA launcher.

The same applies to GTAV as well. Why would it need to verify with the Rockstar launcher when all ill be playing is the story mode and not online.

Anyone got any game suggestions for me?

I want some new games to play. I am good with anything but i prefer apocalyptic, survival, and horror. But Im honestly good with anything. Fantasy, horror, etc…

I want something that isn’t super rushed but also definitely not super strung out. I get bored easily.

I don’t want open world. I want something that is constant and linear (something like Resident Evil Village)

Something with a great story

MUST BE PLAYABLE ON PS4!!!!⚠️⚠️

Thank you <3 <3

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare energy weapons

Is the EM1 laser rifle a special rifle different from an an assault rifle? Why is it classified as an assault rifle in Call of Duty Vanguard? It's not an energy machine gun, is it?

It's said that the EPM 3 plasma rifle is comparable to the MK14 rifle, why wasn't it classified as an assault rifle in the game?

What are your favorite game mechanics

I would like to know what is everyone's favorite game mechanics? I really want to hear about people's favorite niche mechanics from various games. The game mechanics that just work really well in that specific game.
Maybe some mechanics that would have been cool if they actually happened, like the goblin tribe war in Oblivion.

A couple of examples: Geralt's beard growing in real time in Witcher 3, the different levels of dodge rolls in the Souls games.

Sandbox/Open World military game

I was thinking of a military / tactical game that has sandbox, reason is because, if you finish the campaign then you have nothing to do

RTS games suggestions would also be appreciated

Science and physics games

I would like you to recommend video games where the main objective is to discover the laws of physics/science in the game universe. For example, the game Outer Wilds has part of this, as part of the game’s progression involves discovering quantum laws.

Games where going AFK won't hurt me

Need a game I can walk away from or put down suddenly, and it won't hurt me.

Bonus points for any game where it can actually help you (like Fable 2, where you passively earn money while the game is running)

Edit: It's ridiculous that I'm even being asked to justify why I'm asking for this but my start, select and Xbox buttons are not working at the moment, and if my infant cries, I'm gonna deal with her immediately. It's a pain in the ass to pause when she wakes from her nap.

I'd appreciate it if people would stop making snarky/unhelpful comments. Also, I appreciate those who made suggestions. I've downloaded Into the Breach, and added Satisfactory and X-COM to my wishlist.

What are your feelings about open world games?

I come mainly from a traditional JRPG background. There isn't much I love more than three heroes standing in a line taking turns beating up on some monster.

My other favourite type of game is open world games. I just love being able to explore and do anything or nothing at all. I find this especially appealing now that I'm old and don't have as much time to play. Open world games are easy to pick up, play for 30 minutes and be done.

I hear a lot of hate for open world games, especially among people who are inclined to traditional JRPGs.

I was just wondering what your thoughts are on open world games in general. Do you like them or hate them? Indifferent? Why?

What are some singleplayer games you can spend a lot of time in?

I want a single player game where I can spend a bunch of hours on,

it on average takes me about 5 days to finish a 15 or so hour long game, and to be honest,

I kinda want a game to play for longer than 5 days, in that time it doesn't even feel like I played the game

I'm looking for proper single player games, not mindless games like terraria or whatever

I really wanna get lost in a world for hundreds of hours My preferred genres are open world, action, FPS, third person, action adventure, games with satisfying gameplay/combat/progression

I don't like horror or souls games

I'm on PC

Any suggestions?

I've already played games like Spiderman remastered, rdr2 (90 hours), GTA 5 (540 hours), cyberpunk 2077

Thanks

Deaign game... where do I start?

I am the founder of an Oil & Gas and Energy community/ecosystem. I want to gamify learning… it's a pretty niche technical area, so no mainstream, but O&G is $3T market. I have rough ideas but have no clue on how to go about designing a game. Where do I even start? Who to contact?

What Should I buy?

Should I buy, Helldivers 2, or Warhammer 40k? I usually like to play campaigns and don't really do much in the multiplayer part, but I heard some good things about Helldivers 2. Warhammer 40k seems like a really good game and it has a campaign, but I would have to save up for another week to get it. So should I just wait a week or buy Helldivers 2? (If I buy Helldivers 2 I may be able to buy a $10 game)
