What’s a good red dot to mount on LPVO scope?
I was thinking about replacing the 507k on my EDCC with an EPS carry and then putting the 507k on the LPVO scope. Would this be a bad idea?
Or are there other reasons why I shouldn’t be mounting a red dot to an LPVO?
I’m just not getting into the AR15 realm, so go easy :)
Just picked up these unity risers recently, gonna hit the range and see if I like them this weekend
Does anyone use Doublestar ARFX-E stock ? Can’t decide between these two guys.
I’m checking out blackout defense right now they have an ok deal on builds. They look cool. Reviews seem positive. Have seen many positive 5.56 reviews. Kind of thinking about messing with the 6mm arc is an entry level spr. Have done minimal research on 6 arc since it was never really on my radar. Just curious what the pros think. Stick with 5.56?
Looking to buy or build a training gun and I am sure this question has been asked 1000 times...
Andro is a decent gun for price. $400 currently here.

I can build a similair PSA setup with a better lower for about $200 more.

Could change the upper later to a CHF if needed or wanted... Let me know if you see it differently.

anyone know if the scalarworks fixed front lines up with a mbus 2 or 3 rear?
Ok so I bought this low profile gas block off of primary arms and I have everything taken apart and I cannot for the life of me get this gas tube to go into the block. If anyone has suggestions that would be wonderful.
first build
Just ordered the OCL polonium k, I’m little confused on the muzzle device/hub/bore size, what do u guys recommend
Anybody know a manufacturer who sells their uppers already tricked out with things like a low profile adjustable gas block, and already decent brand handguard, and a solid barrel?
The issue i always run into with my upper builds is that I've got to hammer them apart to upgrade them, then buy a much nicer gas block, then change out my barrel, etc.
Who makes the best "slap on and play" uppers, that are easily customizable?
Edit: 2 part quad rails are acceptable, as long as they are reputable ones. I can sacrifice on an adjustable gas block if I can get to it easier.
Aside from being 16” and the Vortex (which is a Comp M2 clone itself. The UID number and “55” on the stock are correct to the last rifle I carried, though!
Ok so I have an old SW Sport 1 (No FA/Dust cover) and a PSA 11.5" FSB/detachable carry handle (you see these all the time for $500 if you get PSA emails). Both are fun to shoot, I shoot mostly .22 out of them, but I want to get more into training with my rifles, because I suck at them compared to pistols. So I want something that is a "serious" rifle that can handle a high round count.
Anyway, I want an A2 style fixed carry handle upper with clamshell furniture and , a 14.5 or 16" chrome lined barrel (basically a colt 653). I know people will say FSB and carry handles are dated etc but I don't really care because they look cool and I probably am not ever be able to shoot good enough to matter if my barrel is free floated or not. If that happens then I will get a BCM or something in the future. At least I plan on shooting it a lot which is more than most folks that ask these stupid questions.
I know there are light and sling mounts etc for clamshells, pic rail adapters etc. All I need is a white light, sling, optic. I plan on running an Acog of some sort, with a mount that lets me also look through the carry handle sights.
Anyway, what are my options as far as uppers other than Colt? Is H&R actually premium stuff as far as QC? Would buying a stripped upper/barrel/gas tube and having something like this assembled be a better option (could actually do mid length gas that way)? I don't want to cheap out, but I don't want to spend more than I have to.
Anyway thanks.
Hey guys,
Are there any dual tapeswitches that I can get that could allow me to use them in conjunction?
Decided to do an A4 style rifle. Palmetto upper, and Gov M16A4 marked lower. LaRue MBT Geissele Super 42 buffer spring Geissele Super charging handle BCM BCG BCM Free float quad rail Surefire Pro-tac Matech rear BUS Facog Magpul sling and Condor mag pouch Magpul K2+ and MOE VFG Custom UID tag Shoots very soft and very smooth. Putting some real glass on it after the holidays.
hi guys, I am not very well versed in guns. I purchased an AR-15 sport 2 and will be taking it to the range for a training lesson on shooting, cleaning and safety. I purchased a Amazon sling and after getting it put on and adjusted the gun always turns upside down when I am not aiming it to shoot. I watched a few videos online and the stock is typically by their shoulder upright when mine always flops around. I have the tightness where I want it. I just want the gun to not flip over.
are the stock sling brackets on the sport causing this?(They are basically small triangles) should I get a different sling? the sling is clipping on similar to how you would hook a leash on a animal collar during a walk.
I just want to be comfortable for my upcoming lesson while shooting. thanks all
