Looking at this as a warm layer for hiking/not overly technical alpine pursuits and a "cold morning" jacket. It seems kinda unbeatable in terms of storage and warmth for the price point. Wondered if anyone owns one and can give me their impressions as there are not many reviews.
Also keen to know your size (height+weight) and the size that fits you as Helikon's sizing chart is some wack shit. I'm 190cm/80kg and usually wear M for a slim fit and go L for outer layers/relaxed fit but it looks like their XS fits my chest size???
what handguard is he running?
I bought two m4e1 lowers (strip) from aero and everything was fine till I got to the handle, the screw was a little different then normal and had a hard yellow lock tight but I didn’t think much of it because supposedly they know what they are doing. When I started to screw the screw in the hole it kinda had a bit of resistance but didn’t think much of it because I just thought it was the lock tight. Then it started to get hard to screw and thought “ohh it’s done cool” but then notice that the screw wasn’t all the way in yet so I decided to take it out and when I looked inside the hole, it was stripped. And yes this happened on both of them. What do I do, I know aero is very difficult to contact. Do I go back to the dealer I got it from and tell them to help me because I really don’t want to keep a lower that came defective with a screw that might if not been right for it and very hard lock tight that might of been the wrong one.
Still working and practicing, the hand gun was slow, but still got some good work in with my gear. Remember to get out and train with your shit.
On second note any suggestions for 5.56 3mag inserts for Spiritus Systems, my current Spiritus inserts are a little to stiff, pmags sometimes get caught.
Can you guys give me some good recommendations of velcro flap mag pouches that can fit 2 ak mags. It's frustrating that there isn't much of a surplus market to go off buy (you know because of the War) I'm trying to look for something affordable but also good quality and recommendations is much appreciated.
They seem really low and they dont feel much different to an iron. I'm not too experienced with guns but I dont see the point of a small red dot as opposed to a sig romeo4t or ACOG, eotech etc. So for clarification I'm referring to a red dot on a pistol
I know some gear apparently shines in night vision. And the type of material and color of the gear surely plays a huge part too. So how important is it to prevent that in a conflict where the enemy(Examples: Russians in Ukraine, Rebels and Insurgents) doesn't have Night Vision most of the time? Does it even matter?

Hey all, I was just wondering what is the ship time for Wrmfzy’s stuff? I purchased some stuff from their latest spiritus drop, and that was almost a month ago, and I have no updates from shipping.
I’ve noticed a shift in SHTF and Preparedness groups recently towards chest rigs as opposed to plate carriers. What is you guys’s thoughts on prepared citizens using armor and/or helmets, should more use them?
Was troubleshooting why my sbr wasn't cycling recently and discovered the culprit.
I've had two different charging handles over the course of 15 years with this exact same issue. Different guns that had issues and different manufacturers on the charging handles. All have been reputable brands.
I'm guessing it's due to an out of spec charging handle getting slapped by the bolt when it returns to the barrel. But was wondering if anyone else had some insight.
I replaced it with a BCM last time, and will probably do the same for this one or a Radian. But man, this is annoying.
It’s been a while since I had one since they are old school. I’ve usually just used my plate carriers but I recently got a Haley Strategic micro chest rig X Harness and just looking for easy ways to take off and put on. Are there videos for putting on and taking off. I searched but no videos actually show the process. Thanks
Hi there, I'm looking for a knife recommendation to put on my belt, right behind my holster (right side) and before my IFAK. So far my top candidates are ESEE 4 and Gerber Strongarm, but I'm not an expert on knives so I appreciate any advice. Use case scenario will be for a very long time on deployments fighting mostly in jungle environments but also other ecosystems. I intend it to be mainly a survival/utility tool and hope to be able to split wood in case it is necessary. Ideally, it'd also be able to be a last resource on combat.
I'm looking for one with a kydex sheath and that I can buy in Europe. Preferably under 200€. Thanks!
What are the best no-brainer upgrades for a stock ALICE Rig? Obviously an H-Harness, (anyone have a good recommendation?👀) and padding the inside of the belt, but are there any other obvious ones I'm missing?
Maybe a weird question, and there's probably a proper search term to find what I'm looking for but I can't figure out what is.
I'm looking for a sturdy pouch with a handle that I can use to transport 10 loaded 5.56 magazines.
I had previously attempted to dye it other colors and used dye remover before this attempt. I did the open top dryer method.
