So I’m looking to upgrade the Streamlight HLX to either a Surefire or Arisaka Defense/ Malkov head. Thoughts on one over the other. Thanks in advance.
Is Rit dye good for staying low profile under Nods? If Rit isnt good, let me know what is! Thank you
Hey everyone. So I got this and it has a Holosun. Now I am not the smartest crayon in the toolshed but I need help finding a kydex holster for it. I cannot for the life of me find one in store or online. I could always get another light but I'm a cheap bastard. Any assistance/recommendations would be greatly appreciated
I have some old cheap LBV88s at home and and looking to update it a bit. Is it possible to point a Nixieworks butt pack onto one? Someone is selling one nearby and I'd like to know before I buy.
Many thanks.
I bought a condor recce rig, and it's way too big, I was just curious if there was a way to modify the rig to fit, or if there;s a replacement strap I could buy to make it fit properly. I have a 28" waist, this shit is huge on me.
They have Streamlights that usually go for 150ish bucks for 70-80 dollars. Seems way too good to be true, am I missing something?
So I thought I did adequate research and bought a Safelife Defense "Tactical" carrier and was intending to shove as much FRAS bullshit as possible into it because I was watching FreeFieldTraining on YouTube and he seems like an honest enough guy. However, I just joined Reddit and wanted to see what the users think about them and it turns out Safelife is seemingly not the kind of company that I thought it was. Looking for alternatives to FRAS, I saw the Stealth Armor Systems brand being recommended quite a bit, but I remember the whole Dragonskin controversy and yes I know the old owner took the company back and they've made improvements, but the armor panels are so flippin expensive. So what's the highest level of certified soft armor protection I can get that will fit into a Safelife Carrier?
TL;DR: Got a Safelife carrier because I didn't do the due research I thought I did. Best soft armor panels that will fit it that's reasonably priced?
I run an mtek flux replica helmet and it’s great for airsoft. As I get lot into real steel I’m juggling whether it’s even worth getting a more expensive bump or not. Would it make more sense just upgrade the padding and retention system?
I wish the original content was satire…..but the whole page is filled with the goofiest of nonsense
I was looking at changing my cummerbund to one that can accept side plates, any suggestions?
Yes, I know… not real MC. Complain to the Dude.

I’m looking to get something that is more comfortable for workouts but still able to go out to the field with. The Shellback Tactical Rampage 2.0 has my eye currently but looking for other suggestions.
Picked up some UCP surplus and tried my hand at dying it to better match the PNW forests. Before and after included.
If anyone is interested it’s one bottle rit Kelly blue and one bottle aquamarine dye in 4-5 gallons of water (stovetop method as per rit instructions)
My tactical gear knowledge comes from the internet and tv, so forgive me. In real world professional scenarios, leo, mil, contractor, security, what have you. Who is choosing ballistic helmets or bump helmets? And if you're going to wear a helmet in potential combat why would it not be ballistic?
I understand weight, I wore a ballistic helmet for about an hour once and I could tell that would get cumbersome. I imagine if I were in a vehicle or something the bobble heading could be problematic. But is that just a conditioning thing? Anyway, your thoughts and knowledge on the subject are appreciated.
