Sent it a bit too hard… #jerry
Luckily I was wearing thick pants so it didn’t go all the way through still stung like hell for a few minutes
When I was at my doctor, I thought I'm about to pass out and throw up. My thumb was so swollen and the area in the picture was not soft like normal skin, it was hard af and it was tingling
Few hours later and big shot of cortisone, I have almost no strength in my arms and still feel wobbly walking around. Even "lifting" my phone is almost impossible
Tomorrow I'll get a blood test done and hopefully they can tell me what the reason is, why it only affects my hands visibly and my breathing. That was definitely scary and shitty and exhausting day.
Did a front flip and fell off the trampoline, arm is now inverted
On the literal last day of my lease, as I was moving out, I accidentally bumped two of the stove knobs while a box was sitting near it. I was leaving my apartment with a friend to put my couch in a U-Haul. Came back up 90 seconds later and the fire alarms were going off, smoke was pouring out of my apartment, and the entire box set near the stove was engulfed in flames. Renter's insurance covered it, but damn, sorry to my ex-neighbors! My entire floor smelled like a campfire.
That brown shit on the stove is melted protein powder that was in the box. Smelled like burnt chocolate the entire rest of the day I was moving.
Spindle is doing fine now. Rushed her to the vet only to find out she was high. $600 later and a sleepless night watching her, she is better.
RIP meatloaf and potatoes.
Removing some shrubs and must have come in contact with poison ivy. Also on my legs and crotch.
It seems like the fire started at our neighbors' place, possibly due to a short circuit. As a result, all the windows on one side of our house are cracked. The only thing both our neighbors and we had stored was wood, so it burned like crazy.
It was an 02 Grand Am with 86k miles. I loved it so much. Unfortunately it sat in Michigan for 3 years when I couldn’t afford to insure it. Brought it home and got it running, bought new tires and took it to get inspected. The mechanic showed me the rusted bumper support and told me it would be very bad if I got in an accident because of how bad the rust was.
I bought a new bumper and before it could even arrive, I was rear ended at 45 mph. I’m so lucky it wasn’t a higher speed collision and very glad my grand am did what it could to protect me. I ended up totaling it through insurance and got $5k for a new car. But I still miss her 😢
I keep my inhaler handy. What does your air vent look like at work?
