You know that feeling when you work hard on something and it ends in a total loss, disappointment, or just didn't gain enough traction to begin with? This is the place to post about it.

You’ve been working on something forever...but now it’s gone.

Wife left me in January, lost 80% of my coworkers in March, found out dad has pretty bad cancer last month, and last night I got evacuated from my house because of a 0% controlled fire less than a mile from my house. All I have is my phone this laptop and a single basket of clothes.

My submission for dumbest way to injure yourself: I burnt my hand taking tomato soup out of the microwave. The toast I was making popped up and it scared me.

Forgot to replace small wires for bigger ones. Pumped high current through low current wires. Oops.
