I had a question while I sit in hold for another 6hours. My ex and I purchased AP together and have had them for years now we are broken up. I was wondering if it’s possible to separate our annual passes right now they are on the same account and I would like to just remove mine from being associated with hers. Is this possible?

Hello, first time AP holder here. Some background: I'm in medical school, and I originally had a vacation from school scheduled in October. Due to the pandemic, my entire calendar for next year has been changed, and everyone gets a vacation from Dec 21-Jan 1. Originally my AP was supposed to expire around Dec 1, 2020 but then we got the news that our AP's will be extended for the length of time the parks are closed. However, my new vacation time is during a blockout period, and if I can't go one more time before my AP expires then I end up losing half of what I paid for it. I'm probably being naive, but does anyone know/think if it'd be possible for leeway to be granted with the blockout dates so that people can actually use them? I'm new to this so i'm not sure if this has ever been done before or considered. Thank you.

Dear Disney,

I have been a Disney Passholder for most of my life. I have always loved the Disney World parks, and it's been how my family comes together. I’ve always admired Disney’s customer focused approach.

Unfortunately your decision to continue charging the monthly payments for Annual Passholders in a time of crisis when so many families who previously held jobs, now find themselves out of work. Many of them have multiple children, and thus could wind up getting charged more than the cost of a grocery trip.

My family has lost one income source due to this pandemic. I’m fortunate in that I have a job still, and will likely be able to continue working for the foreseeable future. I can weather this cost while I have my job, but others will not.

Worse still, when I called, I received a response that was dismissive and avoidant. In times like this, when people are scared, we need that Disney touch now more than ever, not an impersonal email address with little hope of a response.

I wrote a more emotional letter previously, but I realize that I had over-reacted, and have since replaced it with this. While my initial response was hyperbolic, it doesn’t change the fact that this policy is inhumane to your best customers.

You’re going to hurt families. You can try to fix the worst of the problems one by one by email, or you can take the step that could mean the most to your most loyal customers, and postpone collecting payments until this crisis is over.

This policy isn’t sustainable. Once we are a month in, people will be scrambling to cut their costs. I’ve already heard advice to cancel my card, so I’m not the first that has thought of it.

Do the right thing. Stop collecting monthly passholder payments until the parks reopen. Do that, and we’ll see you real soon.

What is Discord? Discord is somewhat like a social network where it brings people all over the world on one communication app, in short it's like Skype but better. Anyone can create a 'server' or a 'guild' is a proper term. Servers can range from business focus to hobbies like crafts or paintball. You can join up to around ~ 100 servers on one Discord profile. So no matter the hobby you're into, they probably have a server for it.

The app (IOS and Android) and program (Mac, Windows and also available via the web-browser) itself is free to use.

I'm tentatively planning to attempt RotR tomorrow morning, and was curious if anyone with recent experience could answer a couple things for me:

1. The park is scheduled to open at 7a. If my group (2) is past bag check by 6, is that early enough?

2. Do boarding groups go live at 7 on the dot, or should I be refreshing before that?

3. Do most people who try for a boarding group right when it goes live get one?

4. Re: the in-ride "drop"-- How bad is it? Is it a simulated drop or a track?

I'm no programmer but what if someone made a Passholder app, mostly directed towards dating (something like Bumble), that includes all the Disney parks and other parks (from SeaWorld to Universal) that feature Passholder like subscriptions.

You'd be able to find people nation or worldwide who are Passholders to the parks listed on your profile and you can chat with new people, schedule meetups and have fun at parks, network or even find people to date.
