I have not been to Greenbriar Cafe (On W Main Street) in like 5 years, I went in middle school and I am now at VCU for undergraduate. I know that they used to have free printing there and I was wondering if anyone knows if they still have printing for free or printing and how much it costs, if anyone knows please lmk.
Quick question: Do you receive your financial aid refund earlier when enrolled in a winter intersession course, or is it paid out as usual for the spring semester?
I got the email that it's time to do course evaluations. I'm a graduate student, but this is my first semester at VCU.
There are some things that I would like to include, but my final projects haven't been graded or even submitted yet.
So how does VCU do this? Can my profs read/see the evaluations before final grades are submitted? I've been considering just doing the evals then asking chatgpt to rewrite them to change the writing style.
What do you guys think?
Has anyone taken a class with William Bolling? They only have 1 review and it doesn’t look too good. I refuse to take the class with Augie, but I saw Bolling and wondered if he was any better.
like does anyone have a general idea of how many months before the year starts to look for off campus housing?
Hey guys! A question for those who applied for the honors college and got in. In the application there’s a “Personal education essay” I was wondering if I could get more details on that. What format do I need to do? Font? Size? And what exactly are they looking for in this essay? I have emailed the honors college but they are all away from office, and the slideshows lacked any sort of details.
Thanks!
Went to einsteins this morning and saw a mouse scurry across the floor and go under the pepsi machine despite it being relatively busy and loud (idk where it came from, maybe under the seats??) does that mean there might be a mouse problem everywhere else on campus :(
Hey! I’m currently a freshman at VWU, a private university. I’m not sure what my GPA is rn, but I have all A’s as the semester comes to an end. Our classes are 4 credit each so I have about 16 credits from VWU (Fall semester) and 10 Credits coming from Tidewater Community College. I was looking at the transfer equivalentcy webpage, but I’m not sure what classes will transfer or how 4 credits will transfer over since admissions can’t confirm it until i’m accepted. Anyways, I really want to transfer here for the Fall’25 semester and was wondering if any other transfer students here can give me advise of how to better my chances? Or things you did to make your application stand out? (P.S. I applied here first after a year of part time TCC classes, and was declined bc I did awful at CC, hence why I only have 10 credits from there.) So, I’m not sure if my past application will impact my chances or not, or improve them since I show major improvement. I’m planning to apply after winter break when Fall grades get finalized. Anything helps and wish me luck, thanks!
I found keys in the stairwell of Hibbs at 8:45 am today. If you lost them, they are at the University Academic Advising front desk on the first floor.
Please I need at least 3 tickets if possible, willing to pay, would appreciate a lot if you could share !
I'm looking for insight into Professor Zachary Ghahramani's class, specifically BIOL152, if anyone has taken it with him before. Like how is his grading, class structure, homework, exams, etc. Thanks!
Ive been struggling really bad in physics 201 this semester. I understand the material and then the exams are completely different from anything i've ever looked at. I bombed my midterm with a 50 and the second midterm with a 59. The final is cumulative, but does anyone have any tips on how to pass the final? I just need an 83+ i think to get at least a B, but i'm so anxious, i'm not sure if it is possible...anything helps!!!
I was a ram myself circa 2010 and am now wanting to visit the Cathedral tomorrow. Would I be good to park in one of the non-parking-deck VCU lots?
Don't make fun of me but parallel parking on a busy street sketches me TF out so I try to avoid it. I prefer being able to park in a space that won't require me to parallel park lol.
Any suggestions are welcome!
Hey everyone, currently stressing over my spring schedule, specially biochem. This will be my last semester at VCU and I have already been beaten up and down with my stem classes and the last I have to do is biochem. I am looking for the easiest professor that curves and does not have difficult exams and my options are Sidorov, Hartman, and Fuglestad. I checked rate my professor and most info is not super up to date with them so if anyone has taken any of these recently please spare some advice. Thank you in advance!!
Hey y'all,
I'm a sophomore VCU student (strategic advertising major) and am tweaking around with my spring schedule, I was intrigued by a Military Science class (MILS 102) as a one credit elective. A military career after college is definitely something I plan to consider but I was wondering if anyone who has taken this class can offer some advice on what to expect and if it is worth taking? Thank you!
I was wondering if kuklinski puts in the raw score for the ACS or curves it. Ik the test itself is curved based on the national average etc etc I just need to know how he deals with it… 😓
also pray for me guys!!! 🙏
Hi,
If there is anyone doing their Master's in Electrical or electronics and communication engineering here at vcu, I would like to know their experience and opinion. Any leads are welcome, thank you.

Hi everyone :) Posting on behalf of my brother who’s a 2nd year HPEX student. He lives in a 2 bed/bath in cary + belvedere. I believe the rent is $1600 with all utilities included. Preferably muslim/arab but no worries if not. Pm if you’re interested!!
Hi guys! I’m graduating this fall and need someone to take graduation pics. Please send your previous works and rates.
hypothetically, if i live off-campus and need 24 hr parking, could i save money and buy the cheaper $258 19hr commuter pass, and then just park on the street for free overnight?
Hey guys I’m from Charlottesville Va, I’m trying to figure out if there’s a local collage bar or local hang out spot where I can meet parole my age and just meet people in same interest as me I’m 24 (just turned 24) in Cville we had like 4-5 bars on the corner across from UVA but Richmond is a whole new area for me so I’m a little lost. I moved here for work but figured here might be a good place to ask As of course if your not 21 club sodas and tea is good I personally don’t drink either but I don’t even know where to go to meet people Hahhaha please help me.
Hi, freshman here. Does anyone know if chem 101 and the lab grades combine or are they separate? If they're separate I fear I may be cooked in chem 101... So my second question would be if you fail chem 101 but pass the lab, would you still have to retake chem AND the lab or would it only be the class itself?
I still haven’t registered for my spring classes and I have holds that are stopping me. Am i absolutely cooked or will I still be able to find classes when I do register
Does anyone have insight into professor Joseph Flenner class, specifically for MATH 201? Like how is he with grading, homework, testing, calculators, etc. And overall if he’s a good professor. Thanks!
