I want to use cargo train to travel FRANCE to swiss.
I want to know if somebedy allready did this ? how it's working?
And do you know the best place in france to go to germany for that ?
It’s a real pain the the a** to bring a station up to the current timeline. Can I do it quicker with a mod?
Hi. recently started playing Train fever. I started with steam engines in the 1850 cause i cant select other year it says achievement to be unlocked. any other way to start from 2000 year? any mod? or save file?
Hey everybody, someone still listening?
I bought train fever in a steam sale lately and tried out some mods. I like both the ICE and a lot of the cargo wagons. I would like to Build a Train network somewhat similar to the DB, with lokal trains 140 km/h(between all cities) ICE 260 km/h(between big and far cities) and some IC between big cities going at 180 or 200 km/h
I am looking for Wagons for the Last one, all i have found so far did not work correctly and the einheitswagen IV from vanilla does not look realy nice.
Other Suggestions welcome to, for example the beautiful Train Stations you see in some pictures
Thanks in advance

To celebrate the launch of Transport Fever on Tuesday, I'll be soon starting a 24 hour livestream of the game in the run up to launch! starting at midnight GMT (about 2.5 hours from time of posting) I'll be live through Monday! Please drop by and say hi! All aboard the hype train!! twitch.tv/ds_killakanz
The wiki is saying that it is expired. Will it be renewed?
Train Fever is at 80% off. I know it had a lot of rough spots at launch (2014), but most reviews and Let's Plays show that it's much better now.
However, Transport Fever, is coming out next month. Is Train Fever worth it at this point in time? Or, is there any legitimacy to the concern that Transport Fever going to be so much of a clone, that I can get the same experience out of Train Fever?
Thanks in advance
This is a bit late to the party since Transport Fever is just around the corner, but I put together a Google sheet that can be used to aid in setting up lines for Train Fever. It works for Trains and Road Vehicles. It mostly aims at Cargo routes, since Passenger traffic is much more variable. However, there is still a very useful section for calculating if the route meets the 20-minute rule.
The sheet is setup for "Comment Only" so your best option is to "Make a Copy" from the File menu.

Okay, maybe I'm an idiot, but I didn't know this was possible, and only discovered it today, so I thought I'd share
You know how each lines has a colour? If you open the Line's info window, and click on the coloured banner, you can assign the colour, rather than accept whichever one it gives you
What other little quirks have you found?
Been away from the game for a long while. Seeing more on the upcoming Transport Fever has me itching to play this again. I know I used to have a mod ("Cargo Mod" by Gwinda) that added more complexity to the cargo system. It's been a while, so I'm wondering what are the "community suggested" mods for adding more variety to the cargo system these days?
