It's a great show and I can't understand why they did not pursue it. I hope Netflix, HBO or even FX would pick it up.
I'm reading "Iron Kingoms" and I can't help remember this awesome series... so I'm wondering if there's any post, article, wiki... to adapt this setting to a TTRPG universe to play with 📚📝🎲
The Autumn 2017 issue of "The Baum Bugle", the journal of the International Wizard of Oz Club, includes an article about "Emerald City" and an interview with creator Matthew Horner.
It has been a while, and I can't remember all the details, but it would seem that the writers would have introduced that plot. Her father was from OZ, and was some sort of wizard, for her to have the abilities. I'll have to rewatch the last episodes.
I was interested in giving this a try before, but I never got around to watching it when it was airing live. I know that it got cancelled after one season, but is the finale a good conclusion or is it an unresolved cliffhanger? I've heard good things about it despite what the critics say and will probably watch if the finale is a good conclusion.
I like the feel of this series and I'd like to start watching it with my (elderly) mom but I'd rather not if there are any sex scenes in it. So are there any and how explicit?
Lucas signifies Luke in Star War sharing similar references of the journey made to overcome death, points to the war between light and dark, and requires overcoming and working with witches and non godly elements. I suppose Dorothy would then be likened to Mary Magdalen. Plainly the wordly status of right garments, which is a funny, does not help to tame the wind or death, but carries one on the winds instead and death is not held in check for long. The suffering of battling is cosmic, fantastical, and correct in its historical and literary motifs. The transitions between segments and scenes are seamless and move in time both linearly and figuratively.

I just thought I'd point out that today, May 15, 2017, is the 161st anniversary of the birth of L. Frank Baum, the creator of Oz.
I like to think that somehow Lucas and Dorothy get back together and defeat Glinda
Coming out July 25!!! The Facebook fan page has a pic of the cover and it clearly says "Season One" Hopefully it's a good sign of renewal.

Do anyone know about when we'll hear if the show has been renewed for a second season?
Emerald City Season One is now available on Hulu. :)
There are so many scenes with him that just feel wrong somehow (forced, out of place, timing is off? Help me here). Almost every time he is on screen, especially during the flashback scenes, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Does it seem off for anyone else?
Just wanted to see what y'all thought!
What do you think the chances are of Emerald City getting renewed for a 2nd season? Do you think the show will get picked up by a different network? I know that some shows start out slow their first season but tend to get better throughout seasons. Was just curious to know what everyone thinks.
