I’m going the first week of December and all tickets are sold out, is there anyway to obtain a couple or am I shit out of luck? My gf booked a whole trip to Orlando for our daughter’s bday and we waited last minute after we secured everything else to purchase tickets but now they are sold out and she’s freaking out. Is there anyway at all I can get a pair of tickets??
So my girlfriend planned a trip for our daughter’s birthday in December to Orlando. We took care of flights bnb etc first and then was gonna buy tickets for Disney last but they are apparently all sold out and she’s extremely bummed out like depressed we got into a huge argument because I told her not to be sad about it. Is there any other way to obtain tickets? Gonna be in Orlando from the 5th to 8th so I’d like to get atleast them two tickets. Any possible leads at all? I’m trying to become boyfriend of the century
So, I love a theme park, and I’m needing on advice on how to become theme park enthusiasts, I see videos and meet ups it looks amazing any advice?
Hey y'all - I just uploaded this video to Youtube, it's a short history of Celebrity Theme Parks: https://youtu.be/Ke-abLdSsyQ?si=o8KX3d9j6vnNzsZG
I'm lowkey trying to manifest a Taylor Swift-inspired theme park, which I pitched here: https://youtu.be/1YJEZUzbhLI?si=KDCltuaUZivWHHMe
I would love feedback from any fellow Swiftie theme park goers! TIA :)
I (25F) used to work in merchandise as an area supervisor at Cedar Point a few years back, and I loved it! I miss it, so I’m considering different parks around the US to work at in merch, preferably year round operations. I currently live in Utah and want to find a good job at a good park in a good city, but I’m looking for suggestions and advice on where to go! There’s a lot to consider; pay, ability to move up in the company/department, location, etc. I’d love to hear from past/current park employees about their experiences:)
TL;DR looking for a new theme park job
Fantastic staff, great operations, wonderful atmosphere.
Me and my father are planning on going to walibi Belgium in the winter but we would like to know what tides are closed during this time. Could anyone please let me know?
As a child, something made me unsettled in an attraction, and I cannot find anything about it online. All I know is the following:
It was located in England, extremely likely to be Cornwall.
It was a dark, walkthrough attraction, with Animatronic critters and animals in scenes at the sides, similar but not the "Wind in the Willows" ride at Paulton's Park.
I believe it to be located at either Crealy Cornwall (now Camel Creek), or Dairyland.
I vividly remember it being in a wooden building, and one of the scenes being a group of small farm mice singing about the Farmer's Cat.
Can anybody help? I've been desperately searching, trying to find closure on this ever since...
Edit: the year would be around 2008-9 I think, and I'm sure it's Cornwall, England, UK.
UPDATE: FOUND IT!

This post is looking for the same attraction, and there's even a video of the whole thing!
The attraction is "Enchanted Forest" at Cornwall's Crealy
Hello!
So, I'm in college currently studying to be a 3D animator/generalist; My reel is targeted towards PreViz and 3D animation for feature and games, but my first great love has been theme parks, and I'd love to try and pivot my future career in that direction;
To that end, I've decided that my next long-term portfolio project should be a 3D PreViz/mockup of a dark ride.
I was wondering if anybody out here had done something similar, and if they had any resources they might recommend I check out during these early planning stages?
In particular, I'm intrigued by how modeling, rigging, and animating a character for a dark ride might differ from doing so for an animated movie, given the limitations of a theme park attraction.
Also, I'm curious what program might be the best place to work on such a project: I'm natively trained in Maya and ZBrush (and am also decent at drawing & painting in Photoshop for 2D assets), and was tentatively planning to render in Unreal, but I've seen some people do blocking in SketchUp, and then bring things in Unity to render.
Thank you!
Hey Everyone! Coming to Orlando with my GF in December, flying from West Coast and really need some help planning visit to Theme Parks. We are both mid 30s, we've never been, and honestly I had no idea they are so huge and it is a little overwhelming. I though I'd ask for advice.
We're taking red eye Friday night, arriving on Saturday around 8am. My thought was to take it ease on Saturday, visit Kennedy Space Center, and start Theme Parks adventure on Sunday (3 or max 4 days).
I'm a huge Star Wars nerd, so that one is a must for me, we both enjoy Avatar as well and old school Disney characters, and in Universal both Universal Studios and Island of Adventures look super interesting (but tbh if Nintendo World was open that would be a no brainer as well lol).
Questions:
- In Universal: is it doable to do Island of Adventures and Universal Studios in one day? In Universal Studios we're mostly interested in Minions, lol
- In Disney: is 2 days enough (1 day at each park) for Hollywood and Animal Kingdom?
We can stretch the stay to 4 days, should I look into 1 day at Universal and 3 days at Disney (and do Magic Kingdom on 3rd day?)? Or more like 2+2?
What exactly is in Magic Kingdom? Is it where all the Mickey Mouse and other characters are? Are there some rides as well?
I've only started reading but can't figure out what is EPCOT thing, so what is it? .
Thank you!
I feel like lockers are outdated. My dad lost his phone on a ride once and I know other people that had the same issue. Plus for water parks it’s a no-brainer, you just can’t have your phone on you or anything else. But idk I just hate having to rent out lockers. Thoughts?
Hey all. Sorry if this isn’t the place to ask, but does anyone local to Parc Asterix know how busy it is there in April? The split school holidays in France seems to make April a no-go, but just thought I’d ask before I completely change my plans
Has anyone else heard about the safety concerns regarding this ride? The ride has been closed for months, and allegedly cables have snapped, parts were installed incorrectly, and there’s a lawsuit against the manufacturer (S&S), but a surprisingly quiet response from the media. Anyone have thoughts or insight?
🎃 Halloween is one of strategic time for theme parks to attract the last visitors of the season by offering additional entertainment🎃
🤘 Walibi, le Futuroscope, le Puy du Fou, le parc Astérix, all of these parks offer special Halloween activities to imerge their visitors in a terrifying athmosphere (actors, shows, decorations)🤘
😱The visitors are looking for immersive experiences:
💶This period can trigger additional revenues, such as adapted merchandising, theme catering…💶
👎I currently work in a theme park that doesn’t develop enough storytelling during Halloween, who is a serious loss of earnings.👎
What is your best Halloween memory in a theme park and do you consider the scenario and the settings important in this period ?
I look forward to hearing from you ! 📝
