Hello, the website says we're allowed to bring 1 reusable water bottle per person. It doesn't say what size or type. I have a 40 oz reusable water bottle and a 20 oz. Both have fully sealed lids (not like a Stanley). Can I bring my 40 oz.? I'd hate to get there and not be able to use my water bottle. I drink a lot of water so it's important for me to have one! Thanks!
So I’m planning on going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this weekend for the Halloween event and we might go when they open. Do I have to purchase a single or all day ticket? Will they kick us out when the event starts or not. All day tickets are cheaper right now too, but don’t give you an option to pick a day. So I’m not sure which to pick.
My wife and I are planning to visit Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town. Do we both need premier memberships, or would it be better to get one premier membership and one regular ticket, or maybe one premier and one unlimited membership? We’ll be traveling in one car with our child and are trying to figure out the most cost-effective option.
Here are some additional details that might help:
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
So, my friend didn't realize her pass was connected to her old college email address when she bought our HOS tickets. After a year of not being a student there, the email is locked.
Should we just go to guest relations when we get there? It took her 30 minutes on hold trying to straighten it out, and we eventually gave up.
EDIT: Issue has been resolved thanks to the only person who commented! Thank you.
I know you're allowed to film the houses, and of course all terror-tories and streetsmosphere, but what is the policy on shows such as Fiends: The FREAKquel or Phantoms of the Festhaus? Are you allowed to film them with a handheld? And for Phantoms may I set up a short tripod on my table (only maybe 5 inches tall)? What's the policy on that? Also, if you're in a house, will scare actors play to the camera or to you? (asking so I know where to hold my camera)
One other question, do they still do the thing where scare actors will ride coasters with guests?
Here's (most) of the new Fiends show from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It's an odd combination of the original Williamsburg show, and the more raunchy Tampa shows. But, they have the actors in this self censor themselves when singing (for the most part). Which is a little odd, since this is supposed to be a show for teenagers and adults. It's interesting. And, I am sure that it will get more polished as the Howl-O-Scream season goes on.
It looks like Williamsburg is finally getting Fiends back, and it sounds like it's going to be based on the ones that Tampa was doing the past few years. Tampa replaced Fiends last year with a slightly unpopular dance show that was cancelled after a single weekend, and as far as I know, it was never replaced with anything. People pleaded with Tampa to bring the show back this year, but it looks like it is being replaced with another dance show, that will probably be just as unpopular as the show that they tried in 2023. It looks like instead of the live singing version of Fiends that used to happen at Williamsburg, it's going to be performers dancing to popular songs based on the Tampa version. They even used a picture from one of the Tampa productions on the Williamsburg website.
Hey guys, I've been twice but ALWAYS wanted to ride Escape from Pompeii. We're going next weekend, I just want to make sure when the water rides close and I'm not seeing it anywhere else
im going to bgw for howl-o-scream for the first time for 2 days november 2-3. i have no idea what too expect so can you please tell me some first timer tips. (ps. can you tell me the story of the first fiends show cause im afraid that ill be confused when i see the freakquel).
I've been in a cycle of renewing my membership in August. Does BG do a sale on memberships for Labor Day? Or is the sale that's on now the best they'll do until black Friday?
There is no excuse for the Adventure Island / Sea World / Busch Gardens app to be so unfathomably terrible.
I’ve been an AP holder for years. They’ve never once been able to sync my pass ID (platinum member) with my email. Every time I login, I have to search for a screenshot of a past ticket to enter it into the WEB alternate login page because my email has no pass info. This is 10x the pain in the ass that it should be.
This would take my team of two junior developers about 10 hours to code and fix at about $350/ hour.
Observing this chain’s technical integration throughout the park has been incredibly frustrating as a startup founder. At least in my job, if I see something that bothers me, I can usually fix it with enough resources.
It’s late in the season but I’m considering buying a premier membership. The guest pass calendar says 1 pass for Jan 26-May 31 2024, 2 passes for Jun 1-Sep 30 2024, 1 pass for Oct 1-Dec 31 2024.
If I get a pass now and redeem a single Jun 1-Sep 30 guest pass, can I use the other guest pass next summer? Or do I need to use them both between now and Sep 30? I’m also guessing that I’ll be able to also use a guest pass Jan-May 2025?
Does anyone know how much tickets usually costs if I were to go in person and buy them around 2pm? How much cheaper are they? I see a lot of people going at night? Is it worth it?
Is staffing down at parks because BGW is unable to hire or are they intentionally being cheap? Water Country was as full as I've ever seen it today and yesterday yet there are rides operating with lanes closed and not all concessions are open.
Vanish Point was particularly alarming. They had one slide open and both drop slides. The sole attendant was only paying close attention to the drop. She would then peer back to the open (non-drop) and look for the green light and say "go ahead" without instruction to the rider. Here is the real problem...the sensor on that left slide doesn't function 100%. Out of the 10 people in front of me, it never switched to red for 2 of them. Luckily, the riders were all keeping an eye on the exit and made sure all was clear but the attendant would have never known and could have easily told someone to go because it was green.
This is our 6th year of being members and might be our last. BGW is underwhelming now and WC, which is my kids' preference between the two, seems like it is not staffed well enough.

When this deal was first offered, I went online to redeem them for my family and I. It said tickets had to be downloaded and printed by 7 July. Well, I didn't get a chance to use them due to a family emergency. I go on the website last night and see they extended the deal until 31 July. Would my tickets still work and be valid even though it has the original expiration date of 7 July?
Does anyone know if they take your picture on the first day when you use a 2 or 3 day ticket? We are staying with friends and it would be great to visit the park and then leave behind the extra "days" to our hosts as a gift. Would this be possible?
Hi guys! We’re going for beer fest. It’s our first trip ever to Busch gardens. I was wondering a few things though.
Thank you guys in advance! Have fun at the parks yall!
