Update: It's the people that bought VIP parking that get to use the employee entrance. https://buschgardens.com/williamsburg/upgrades/more-addons/
I can't get through to any of their customer support lines to fix the name, do I need to be worried?
I'm visiting BGW from out of town and there's a sign in the park indicating that Fiesta Italia is closed this weekend. Is this something normal that the park does? Closing Pantheon for a whole weekend is 😐
I was wondering how BG Tampa was with lose articles, and specifically if they have any zipper pouches on any of the coasters like some RMC and Premier Rides coasters do.
Do you need to put things in lockers on any of the rides? Like X2 might say you need to, but you absolutely don't and everyone just leaves things by the lockers. Can you walk across the platform to put things in cubbies or on the ground? Are things in cargo zipper pockets fine? Any ride metal detectors like on Steel Vengeance? Do they allow glasses with retainer bands on all the rides?
And for the pouches, I've 3D printed some brackets to hold my phone at the correct angle inside the pouch so I can record myself on rides, but if there's no pouches I won't bring them along.
Thanks for any insights!
Does anyone know how much a reusable cup and refills are in Virginia? Also the average priced meals would be. I'm going on a trip with a group and I'm trying to plan out prices and I'm struggling to find accurate pricing for Virginia 😭.
Asking for next year. Is there trick or treating on Halloween at Busch Gardens for kids?
I have the basic membership. When I want to go to BGW on a non-blockout day, do I just walk up to the front of the park and scan the bar code that's in the app? Do I need to "reserve" a spot for the day or anything?
We’re traveling to Williamsburg next summer with my daughter and her friend. The girls will be 15 and 16. In order to give them more freedom, we were thinking of buying them passes to Busch Gardens (and Water Country) and dropping them off so they can have a bit more independence. I’ve been looking all over and am finding conflicting information about whether teenagers are allowed to enter the park without an adult? And after that, would they be safe? We haven’t been there since my daughter was a toddler, it was safe then but I know things change. Thanks!
Hello, the website says we're allowed to bring 1 reusable water bottle per person. It doesn't say what size or type. I have a 40 oz reusable water bottle and a 20 oz. Both have fully sealed lids (not like a Stanley). Can I bring my 40 oz.? I'd hate to get there and not be able to use my water bottle. I drink a lot of water so it's important for me to have one! Thanks!
So I’m planning on going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this weekend for the Halloween event and we might go when they open. Do I have to purchase a single or all day ticket? Will they kick us out when the event starts or not. All day tickets are cheaper right now too, but don’t give you an option to pick a day. So I’m not sure which to pick.
My wife and I are planning to visit Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town. Do we both need premier memberships, or would it be better to get one premier membership and one regular ticket, or maybe one premier and one unlimited membership? We’ll be traveling in one car with our child and are trying to figure out the most cost-effective option.
Here are some additional details that might help:
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I know you're allowed to film the houses, and of course all terror-tories and streetsmosphere, but what is the policy on shows such as Fiends: The FREAKquel or Phantoms of the Festhaus? Are you allowed to film them with a handheld? And for Phantoms may I set up a short tripod on my table (only maybe 5 inches tall)? What's the policy on that? Also, if you're in a house, will scare actors play to the camera or to you? (asking so I know where to hold my camera)
One other question, do they still do the thing where scare actors will ride coasters with guests?
Here's (most) of the new Fiends show from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It's an odd combination of the original Williamsburg show, and the more raunchy Tampa shows. But, they have the actors in this self censor themselves when singing (for the most part). Which is a little odd, since this is supposed to be a show for teenagers and adults. It's interesting. And, I am sure that it will get more polished as the Howl-O-Scream season goes on.
It looks like Williamsburg is finally getting Fiends back, and it sounds like it's going to be based on the ones that Tampa was doing the past few years. Tampa replaced Fiends last year with a slightly unpopular dance show that was cancelled after a single weekend, and as far as I know, it was never replaced with anything. People pleaded with Tampa to bring the show back this year, but it looks like it is being replaced with another dance show, that will probably be just as unpopular as the show that they tried in 2023. It looks like instead of the live singing version of Fiends that used to happen at Williamsburg, it's going to be performers dancing to popular songs based on the Tampa version. They even used a picture from one of the Tampa productions on the Williamsburg website.
Hey guys, I've been twice but ALWAYS wanted to ride Escape from Pompeii. We're going next weekend, I just want to make sure when the water rides close and I'm not seeing it anywhere else
