While building the beach campaign theme park suddenly the whole screen got snowy and all kinds of colours. After a quick save to make sure it was saved before a crash, it stopped so I moved on building. When I zoomed out however I saw all the beach homes still spacing out, as well as them occasionally being covered with a green square.
No clue what caused this, but I assume its a bug. Is there something on my end I can do?
What influences a ride‘s satisfaction rating?
It’s the green bar when checking the guests thoughts for each ride.
How does everyone use this amazing mod? Creating hotels, casinos, arcades? What else!?
So I had a custom scenario that I was working on and off throughout our the first half of the year, and then took a break from parkitect. During that time I saved the scenario under 3 different file names as "backups" in case if I wasn't vibing with design decisions and wanted an easy way to backtrack and try again. Anyway, now that I'm getting back into it, I noticed that all 3 file names are gone. I checked the save log which noted all 3 plus the autosave were all "manually deleted" back in August. This is the only recorded "manual delete" in the entire save log. I know for a fact I did not manually click and delete all of them.
I first assumed that I accidentally overwrote the file with another scenario, but it wouldn't make sense that the other two earlier versions were also gone. Then I thought it was a sync bug with my Steam cloud, but also why would it delete the three different file names (which were last written weeks apart from each other) and the autosave all at once?
I've checked all my local files, Steam cloud, recycling bin and entire C Drive, but it looks like all 3 versions of the scenario are gone, which is a massive bummer.
Overall, I'm just checking if anyone has any idea what may have happened or if this is a known issue. I didn't find anything searching in this sub, but I also may have missed a post or comment mentioning this. Thanks!
Added a few speakers here and there to make my park rad lol 😎 downloaded this a few days ago and already have 30 hours in and many more to go. Never had a game hook me this bad since doom eternal LOL and even though my parks aren't the best I love how much creativity this game allows me to have. This is one of the campaign maps that took me way to long to beat but I loved every step of it haha.
I downloaded some blueprints online but don't know how to add mods downloaded online. On the website, all it says is to put it into the mods in the "Mods" folder. I put the mods there but I don't know where to put the blueprints
On PlayStation and Xbox, activate first person view by selecting a guest, clicking on the camera icon, and then R3/RS on your controller.
Been having a lot of fun with the campaign in this game. I'm a completionist and really want to bonus objective every campaign mission but im at a roadblock. Beat every campaign mission before this one all bonus objectives but this one is just ludicrous what is expected. You have less than 3 years and need 5 coasters that have to be custom built with 65 excitement or above, 10 thrill rides, 1129 guests, 5k in monthly profit. This seems like 5 year goals at best and even that seems ridiculous. Don't get a lot of starting money either. Nobody on youtube or reddit explains actual game mechanics for optimal parks.
UPDATE: Managed to beat it with 1 month to spare. Spent like 15 hours figuring out how to build the 5 coasters. Overall i definitely learned a lot about coaster building. Was it worth it? Questionable. Thanks for the replies though probably wouldn't have beat it otherwise. Here are some screenshots of the finished park in case anyone else needs some inspiration or wants to critique my park. <3
I haven’t properly played since its actual full release and only have really played in its Beta Phase. I haven’t been able to play as the computer I played on was ass old and the minimum requirements had changed
