I embroidered a cat in the moon. It is made of plastic canvas with wool in tapestry stitch. It was on the internet as an outline drawing. I also added lighting.

Looking for a 1970s pattern of an apple needlepoint

Hoping to find the kit or magazine pattern of a needlepoint my mom did in the 1970s. Was 4 apples - each with more bites being taken.

Maybe it was in Woman’s Day?

Found eBay listing for completed set but want to make my own.

Is there a resource for tracking patterns in magazines?

Weighted Blanket/Scarf help please

I suffer from chronic headaches and used to use this rice-bag of cotton flannel with 6 squareish pockets of rice by draping it over the back of my neck and using the weight to compress and relax my neck muscles. Found I never really needed to heat it up and was too difficult to clean so I wanted to switch over to glass beads. But once I completed it, I found my glass beads were small enough to spill slowly out of the stitches. Is there a different fabric, or stitch pattern, or something I should be using to solve this problem? What do people do when they make weighted blankets?

A game in plastic canvas embroidered in tapestry stitch. With pearl thread on plastic canvas. The game is from game box no. 46. The dice game can be played by 2 to 6 players.

FFO Lady Liberty

Hot off the hoop, and just in time for the 4th of July!! Lady Liberty by It's Sew Emma. Stitched on 28 count black lugana. I can't take credit for changing the color of her torch, or the words red and blue. I borrowed the chart from my friend, and she made those changes, and I loved them, so I adopted them, as well.

FO I have embroidered a chair full of flowers. It is made in cross stitch, with twist on Aida fabric. I got the motif from the Internet.

Best starter stitching kit

I’ve recently gotten into stitching and I wanted to see what the best kit was. I have seen woobles a bunch and some other brands and was wondering what you guys thought.

Could you put cross stitch into this? It’s made for pictures so idk if cross stitch is too thick or would fit. Has anyone tried it before?

I want to do a small project for my birthday party so something that could fit into these would be perfect but I don’t want to buy them and find out it doesn’t fit so I just want to see if anyone has experience with that .

I was originally going to buy the little wooden hoops but they break pretty easily so I thought to get something a bit more durable.
