So I've recently made a mostly-crocheted crow costume, but I never got around to making a bag. I just couldn't find a pattern I liked that had enough space but looked like it fit with the costume.  

So, I decided to make a lantern out of plastic canvas. It's made out of two layers, an inner layer that is hollow where I'll put my stuff, and an outer layer to serve as the cage is the lantern. I'll be cutting out the white portion of the cage, while I use black yarn to color the 'bars' of the cage. I have LED lights that look a little like fireflies that are going to be sandwiched between the two layers, but here is where I need some help.

The outer cage is going to be black, but I don't know what colors to use for the inner wall. Should I go with something to convey an inner light or shoule I pick a color/colors that will make the LED lights stand out more?
