I want a nice but easy pattern for my kb Afghan loom. Any recommendations?
Hi! I’m new to loom knitting and was wondering how I can make a hat like this? I have a thicker yarn but was unsure of how to start/what pattern to follow since I really like the thicker brim/chunkiness of the hat. Thank you so much!
He’s narked because I wouldn’t let him sit on my lap and stick his head through the loom.
Hi there, after Christmas is over my next big goal is to make a blanket. My craft club even gave me a blanket look for free!!! I was wondering though if I can only ewrap the blanket? A lot for tutorials use purl as well so I’m just curious, I’m okay learning a new stitch if I have to!
Finished on a road trip 😃
I want to add some knifty knitter looms to my collection. Can anyone please explain the difference between knifty knitter versus knifty knitter 2, if any? Thanks!
Does anyone know how to build one of these? If so, can you please share your instructions/supply list? Thanks
This hat is slowly coming together.
First time using a knitting loom and I've never knitted normally. Does this look like I'm doing it right? If so, are the large gaps between knots normal? Using an S loom
I'm using man's/large size loom right now and I want to make a beanie that will droop at the back. Was wondering how many rows I should make?
I kinda want it like this.
Using an alternating stitch to see how it turn outs. It's a bit more lacey than I would like but it's one just all about experimenting. A thicker weight would have been better.
Heya!
Made a hat, first ever, it's cast off and a wee bit short for an adult and the brim super curls.
Sooo, was wondering about if there was a way to add a brim after the fact? Perhaps by casting it back on to the loom.
All I can find are guides for doing the logical thing 😅 and starting with the brim and then you just continue on with the rest of the hat. But I might be searching with the wrong lingo or phrases. If anyone has a guide or wouldn't mind typing up a little how to, would super appreciate!
I have heavy crochet experience and am a very basic knitter as well. :)).
I might just try and go with just putting it back on the pegs and see what happens. If it fails, can frog it. Otherwise might crochet a brim if that fails. Would just prefer the styles of the stitches to the look the same but, eh.
could anyone who is used to working with fine yarn give an advice? mohair maybe? i’m more of a sewist
I made my first hat a couple days ago. Normally I crochet, and I like doing new stitches, so I decided to just try adding a second stitch to this one. If you like the pattern, I first did a folded brim with e-wrap stitches. This is on a Boye Medium Loom using size 6, Super Bulky Yarn . Then I did one more full row of e-wraps. I believe I started with 10 rows of 2 flat stitches, 3 pearls, 2 flat wraps, 3 pearls. Then I switched to 3 pearls, 2 flat wraps, so the next several rows were opposite. This gave this sort of hexagon pattern which ends up kind of puffy. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I love experimenting with crochet, so decided to do it with my loom also. Feel free to ask questions if my instructions aren't clear enough.
Is it possible and if so does anyone have any good patterns?!
What kind of loom do you use for baby yarn
I am very new to this. I don't know how to knit or crochet.... Only one basic pattern and that is it. But i also wish to learn to make socks. I regret so much not asking my grandma to teach me when she was alive.... So I printed this and tried.... But the ... The holes are just sooo biiggg.... What am i doing wrong? Or how can i learn? And please talk moron... I do not understand the knit terminology.... I am sorry 😭
We live in Florida, but my daughter and son-in-law take my three granddaughters to North Carolina each year after Thanksgiving to chop down their Christmas tree. So this year I made them each a hat for the trip. You can't tell from the picture, but the hats are all sparkly as I used a yarn with a metallic strand intertwined. My granddaughters are ages 7, 4 and almost 2. I wish I had enough time to try to make matching scarfs, but these will have to do for now.
I used fuzzy yarn, I really liked how it turned out.
