Hi Y'all,

Recently my best friend got a bit mad at me because I was talking very positively about satanism and some of the seven tenets to her. I don't think she really knows much about satanism in the form of TST.

She told me that she was creeped out by me, that she thought I was talking the biggest nonsense and that I should just get rid of the satanic bible because according to her it's not right and it isn't good for me.

I already tried explaining that my form of satanism is atheistic and that I don't believe in a Satan nor do I worship it, but I don't seem to be able to find the right words to explain satanism to her in a simple form.

So, how would you explain the core of satanism (in TST) to a Christian (in 100 words)? Telling her to go watch the doc "hail satan?" doesn't seem like a good option, because I know she's not gonna do that as she doesn't want to be affiliated with satanism at all.

And how do I make it clear that I'm NOT against her believes and that I'm also not trying to Convince her to become satanic?

I'm interested in getting one of TST's flags, but I prefer to buy ethically made/sourced products. Can anyone with one of their flags let me know if there's country of origin info on them? No one from the store has gotten back to me.

Hi, I’m a pagan witch and I used to (under age of 8ish) be a Christian. Aka I was baptised and did another of the sacraments. Even though I was definitely not a Christian after about the age of 10. My parents still say I’m a Christian.

E.g. when I was filling out a form my mum told me to put Christian, I was like, I’m not a Christian though, she was like, you were baptised so you’re a part of the Catholic Church. I was like, I don’t believe in that though.

I just don’t like feeling tied to a religion I don’t belong to or agree with. My mum knows I do witchy stuff and is ok with it but nobody else does and even she still says I’m officially Christian even if I don’t believe. Even though to a few other members of family I’ve said I’m agnostic they still all view me as Christian. I just want to feel free from it all and I hate being viewed as something I’m not.

So, onto the unbaptisms, is there any way I can do it at home or do I have to go to one of the satanic temple places, I’m not sure they are even in my country/might be just one city I’m just curious and wondering what it involves etc.

I'll be Hailing Satan and myself this Easter break, not gagging on white, bony fish or being guilty like 'some' religions.

In the best spirit of Hailing ourselves, what are some other Satanic, fun things to do over this period?

I would love to hear some personal input and opinions about this religion, as I do not know much.

My first is: why is society telling us any/everything related to Satan is evil & wrongdoings? Someone claiming themselves as a satanist told me a while back that satanism is all about self improvement, helping the community, & progression. Where does this misunderstanding between society & individual arise from? Just a psyop?

The second is: why is baphomet used so much as a symbol for satanism? Whenever I see the image I notice nothing but symbols supporting positive things such as self improvement, actualization, & spirituality. Especially with the pentagram facing upwards. How did this image become so associated with this religion even though I thought the satanist pentagram was upside down? Meaning the opposite. I see the base image of baphomet as a symbol of true spiritual awakening.

Third: Some slight research had brought up something stating that baphomet was originally worshipped by the templars (which google is trying to tell me were catholic 🤔) could anyone expound for me please?

I’m definitely not here in a disrespectful manner! I would love to know more & hear yall opinions on this. Personally I was raised catholic but will never follow an organized religion and haven’t for so long.

I don't know where else to post this, because my feelings have something to do with modern politics, if I tell my therapists about these things then I will be locked up in a mental hospital. What is going on in U.S. politics is too much for me to bare, I just saw a video of Bernie Sanders talking about how important this election is, and how democracy will end of Trump wins, I get the video was meant to inspire people to take action, but for me, it made me anxious and afraid. I can not bare the anxinty and importance of this election, I can't handle the face that demorcry is in danger of ending, if Trump wins, then the fight for climate change will be over, and we would have loss, I can not live through this moment in history, and this election, its too much for me.

I tried to cut myself, but I was too afraid to even make a poke, I just wish there was a way to stop living through this, I want my life to end so I can stop worrying, so I can stop panicking, I hate this, I have never felt this way before.

I'm sorry guys, I can't deal with this shit, U.S. politicals have been draining me mentally, I wish I was born earlier so I could have lived a full life in democracy.

I don't even know what I'm going to do if Trump wins, every day, I think about Project 2025, and it brings me down, I don't see the point in doing anything anymore when I am going to be living in a Christian dictatorship, I wanted to study film in collage, but I don't know why I still dream when I might die next year, I wanted to write a book that had lgbtq+ characters in it, but I know if I do so, then I will be classified as a sex offender next year.

I already know Trump is going to win, and Trump losing his mind is not going to affect anything, and it will make it easier for the government to enforce Project 2025 because the president can't stop them because he does not know what is going on. I try to tell myself, "there is no way they can enforce this," but then I think about Florida and Woe v wade being overturned, and it makes me want to put a fucking bullet in my head so I don't have to worry anymore. I'm tired, I have no hope left, I tried to have hope, I really did, but I see no reason to anymore.

before anyone says that I am a fucking idiot, look up Project 2025, it is a real thing, it is going on, and it will make this country unregnzable.

I can not leave this country, I am only 17 and leaving the U.S. is hard, so please don't tell me to leave the country, because I can not.

I have been a Satanist since I was 13 i never told my mom is am a Satanist until about a year ago and when I did she was upset but I brushed it off

Until maybe a month of her knowing she kept trying to make to go to church after I respectably declined. She also asks me to say a prayer every time we are at dinner and to avoid any problems with her I oblige. It sucks especially since I also am non-binary in a conservative state and it's very dangerous to be a Satanist and nonbinary in my town. Even though some of my friends do warn me about being so open about being a Satanist I still refuse to remove the pentagram on my bag and still carry the Satanic Bible around with me. I'm proud to be a Satanist and I won't stop being a Satanist to please anyone. Should I be less open though for my safety?
