Hi all,
Appreciate this is a query that's come up more than once but every thread I can find is 2-3 years old and looking for a more up to date opinion.
After parking my Stellaris addiction for the last couple of years, I recently came across both the NH and NC mods which (and feel free to correct me if this is wrong) both seem to do essentially the same job of transposing the Star Trek universe into a Stellaris framework.
Given this is the NH Reddit page I'm guessing that's where everyone's preference here lies, but is there a half recent breakdown or overview of what the differences between the two mods are? Also are there any DLCs that are needed for them to function?

Hi, I'm playing an Iron Man game as the Dominion, it's been going really well, I'm 109 years in. The Iconian invasion just happened and I was able to counter the ground invasions, but then 2 Iconian fleets - both of them 5 or 6 times stronger than any of my fleets - attacked me through the Bajoran Wormhole
I sued for a Status Quo peace and they accepted, but their fleets remained hostile and wandered through my space, now they've parked in themselves right beside the Obatta Cluster and are sitting idle
Is this a bug? Did I do something wrong? Will they despawn at the end of the year?

I am doing my first play thru and have just unlocked the constellation class, but i never saw anything about the USS Discovery, USS Glen, or the Crossfield Class.
In short: If i reload a save how would I get the USS Discovery

I recently go Stellaris, along with a lot of the DLC, as it was on sale on Steam. But I'd really like to check out the Star Trek New Horizons mod, as I am a huge Trek fan and was massvily dissapointed with Infinate. Only when I go to look for it I get a LOT of options. So how do I find the offical Star Trek New Horizons mod?
For some reason, whenever a technology is researched and I get the notification, the game stutters or freezes for a few moments, does not happen in any other notifications nor when a new month ticks over without a research completion.
Anybody else experience this or know how to stop it, my PC is pretty beefy so should handle this game no issues.

how do i fight the undine in planetary invasions?
I mean i can fight and destroy vessels, that's easy, but i'm unable to invade an already undine taken planet and fight them to win the invasion. I've already choosen the erradicate undine virus and close the portal gates in the tradition panel.
Do i have to enterily wipe out the planet by bombarding it?.
I'm playing as the Federation btw, playing 3.14.15926 version as of today.

I am playing on steam and installed the mod from the workshop, but every time I try to play the game it will start at the starting loading screen, eventually load to 100%, and then nothing. It just stays at 100%, the quote on the bottom screen does not change, absolutely nothing happens. I even took a nap for two hours and came back to check if it was finished, only to find it still at 100% with the same quote from the bottom screen. Is anyone else having this problem, what is going on?
Just wondering what Romulan players do with the Garidians, who are a fairly close neighbor at the start. Do you just conquer them, or something else?

Did a federation campaign on the same huge map about 6 months ago. Worked great.
Decided to start a new game as Romulan Empire but right from the start it's lagging. Freezing every couple minutes for around 6-10 seconds. Is it a bug? Any suggestions please? Also the federation has 100,000 stack right from the start. Surely that's not right?

So im playing United Earth and I formed the Federation and a Developer's Note popped up saying the other founding races will be intergrated as Centralisation increases but there isnt a federation tab like the one you get when you enter an alliance so idk how I increase centralisation

I really like how the main mod and the music mod adds some of the star trek music, but I'm wondering if any of the tracks include the first contact main theme?
Which of the maps do you find is the most fun, I tried the 3000 star one and it felt too large, everything soo far away from each other, but the other main map seems a bit small, so what is the best one to play?
I have been a long time fan of this mod and all things Star Trek. I recently binged all of the fantastic audio series Star Trek Outpost. I think (and have tried a bit of looking around the map files to see if I could do this myself for my game without much success) adding in the Pinchot Expanse and a few of the storylines that would go with it. The entirety of the story takes place before and during the early events of TNG on the frontier of the first federation and the Ferengi in a forgotten outpost on the outskirts of Federation space forgotten now that the First Federation has cut off ties and the relations with the Ferengi are just beginning. The events could focus on the on small storylines like the Ferengi's clandestine attempts to export Trenya from the first federation, or the unknown of this nebula with reports of ships vanishing and anomalies. I think it fits perfectly with the rest of NH as there is currently (other than Izar on Epsilon Bootis not a ton going on in that region from a Federation perspective.
I love Stellaris. I played the paradox Star Trek game. I was really disappointed when it went away but we needed more things in it.
I have the mod starting with a juggernaut, the giga structure mod, the later robot dlc, Federations, the storm DLC, leviathans

Hi, I used to play this mod fine on my mac, it's been a while since i played stellaris and when I try and launch the game with the mod installed it gets to 100% in the loading screen (before the main menu, when you first open up the game) and then just stops there and never finishes, I have no other mods installed and have tried unsubscribing, reinstalling stellaris and resubscribing to no effect.
Has anyone had a similar issue and found a fix?
