**NOTE**: this fight is purely fictional so if the powerscaling isn't accurate or maybe their behaviour, just know that i'm a novice in this.

This scenario happens in a different timeline from the original basically when naruto was 1 or 2 yo however, Naruto was never born, itachi's 17 or 18 as Minato becomes Hokage, the age of everybody else still didnt change (except sasuke who's 8). It's a calm afternoon a little more cloudy as usual, but a normal afternoon in konoha until obito summons hachibi in konoha, precisely near the stone faces of the hokage to the east. Everything happens the same as in OG when it was kurama attacking, but with few changes: since hachibi's weaker, the ninjas, kushina and the 3rd are able to withstand hachib's power and manage the casualties while intending on sealing him. Minato's preparing to go there and fight hachibi but obito appears the same as the anime but this time he's trying to genjutsu minato from afar (just to tell you, obito has long hair, a mask and itachi's hairstyle), then he tries to tp to him and kill him but obito makes a smokescreen and dissapears, minato senses him running towards the main gate in a big forest, The 4th was about to let him go thinking it could be a trap, but he was encouraged by his wife kushina as he was chasing obito but lost him "don't worry about us, we're the strongest village, handling hachibi pretty well so i think it's better for you to chase him. We'll help you later." Minato smiles at her and rushes in that forest, when he arrives, he sees itachi removing his mask saying "At last, the 4th, we finally meet to your coffin." Minato replies, "I don't know what type of plan do you have behind your head but this is NOT the way, I already know that you won't change your mind now, so...". -" You wouldn't understand either way" (as they were talking Minato placed a Hiraishin seal on a tree as a precaution).

Minato vs itachi

The fight begins with minato throwing six kunai across the forest before swiftly dispatching a lone clone. Suddenly, another clone appeared in midair, unleashing a fire-style jutsu. Minato countered by throwing a kunai, but Itachi deflected it with his own.

Minato activated the Body Flicker Technique, closing the distance in an instant, and clashed forearms with Itachi. As they fell, a rapid taijutsu exchange ensued. Minato, with precise timing, landed a lethal kunai strike, eliminating the clone.

Then, reality shifted.

It was a genjutsu. Minato had actually killed the airborne clone, but in doing so, he had left himself vulnerable—a kunai was mere moments from piercing him. Realizing the sheer danger of Itachi’s illusions, Minato decided that fighting with his eyes open was a liability. To counter this, he summoned a sensory toad beneath his cloak, ensuring it could disrupt genjutsu instantly.

A new clone attacked with a katana, engaging Minato on a tree branch. In a brief yet intricate kenjutsu exchange, Minato disarmed the clone and retaliated with a powerful kick, sending Itachi flying. The Uchiha landed dangerously close to a Hiraishin-marked tree. Aware of the trap, Itachi reacted swiftly—he attached an explosive scroll to Minato, anticipating his teleportation.

But Minato was already ahead.

Using Substitution Jutsu, he reappeared above Itachi, kunai in hand, piercing him cleanly. "Where are you really?" Minato questioned.

Itachi, seemingly unfazed, lifted two fingers and pointed to Minato’s right. Instinctively, Minato glanced—but saw nothing. That moment of distraction was all Itachi needed.

A kunai flew from the left.

Minato would have been struck, but the sensory toad gave a timely warning, allowing him to dodge at the last second. At that moment, a crow emerged from the slain clone’s corpse—its chakra felt unstable.

Then it clicked.

Minato realized he had been caught in another genjutsu. The illusion had taken hold the moment he made eye contact with the last clone he killed.

The toad quickly disrupted the illusion, but Itachi had used the delay to set up a layered trap. Shuriken and kunai launched from multiple directions, while explosive crows surrounded Minato. The perfect ambush.

It failed.

The sensory toad, using its sage strength, launched Minato into the air, avoiding the deadliest part of the explosion. However, Minato’s leg was grazed.

"It’s nothing," the toad reassured.

Then it spoke again.

"More crows. A lot more."

Minato quickly pieced it together:

• The forest is rigged.
• Itachi is using clones and crows to gather data on him.
• The crows serve a secondary purpose.

He also noted an important chakra anomaly—Itachi’s chakra usage was minimal. No summoning smoke. That meant he wasn’t summoning all of these crows himself.

Then came a final clue.

The toad sensed another presence—briefly appearing when the crows emerged, then vanishing just as quickly.

Elsewhere, Itachi and Obito stood together. Watching. Waiting.

Itachi’s voice was calm, but decisive. "Will Minato die here?" He reached into his cloak, tossed a mysterious object into the air, and whispered:

"I cannot lose this fight."

Minato’s Counterattack

Minato summoned and unleashed his remaining kunai across the battlefield. The response was immediate—crows intercepted them, detonating on contact.

But something was off.

The crows weren’t specifically targeting Minato’s kunai. Instead, Itachi had commanded them to take any kunai they encountered. This meant Hiraishin’s effectiveness was now crippled. Not only these crows stole the kunais but they also let some of them untouched just to explode or trap minato if he doesnt have any escape left.

Minato summoned more kunai, but two-thirds were immediately stolen by the crows.

No problem.

As minato comes in the middle, he sees that the area is more spaced until....

The sensory toad pinpointed two high-chakra signatures nearby. Minato, not wasting a second, used Body Flicker to launch into the air, throwing an explosive kunai between the two figures.

Both figures retreated—but one was slower.

Minato teleported mid-air to the kunai, unleashing a Rasengan. The clone was obliterated.

Itachi’s Reversal

Itachi activated his Sharingan and saw something odd—two Minatos, both with identical chakra signatures.

This was dangerous.

The moment he prepared to detonate the crows, one of the Minatos disappeared— and instantly teleported behind him.

A kunai plunged into his upper left torso.

Itachi hadn’t been positioned well enough to completely avoid it.

At the same time, Minato had teleported to the first kunai in the middle of the battlefield. But just before his finishing strike, Itachi’s Susano’o erupted into existence.

Too late.

Minato’s attack landed before the Susano’o fully materialized, piercing the exposed part of Itachi’s body.

But Itachi retaliated.

The Susano’o’s arm swung with devastating force, crushing Minato instantly.

Then Itachi paused. Something was wrong.

The "Minato" he had just destroyed vanished. A clone.

A split second later, a massive Rasengan came from behind. Itachi barely turned in time before it slammed into his Susano’o, shattering it and causing catastrophic damage.

What really happened?

The True Sequence of Events

1️⃣ Minato created a fake explosive kunai, tricking Itachi into focusing on it.
2️⃣ In that brief moment of distraction, Minato threw another kunai onto a tree behind Itachi.
3️⃣ He then deliberately hit his own clone with a Rasengan, causing it to release crows, one of which he secretly marked.
4️⃣ Itachi, unaware of the marked crow, allowed it to fly into formation, setting up Minato’s next teleport.

It worked.

Minato’s attack landed. Itachi was wounded. The victory was within reach.

But then Minato overlooked one critical detail.

The crows.

They weren’t just tools for surveillance.

They could explode.

An instant later, the marked crow detonated, forcing Minato to dodge, breaking his momentum.

That brief moment of evasion was all Itachi needed to recover control.

The battle wasn’t over.

Minato tps back to a kunai he had setup in the surrounding area (not far at all), then begins his thinking:

" He managed to dodge my evasion, but he's still damaged internally, this will make his movements even more predictable, with the potential crow incoming, i think I understand it now:

1- Itachi first placed traps for reconaissance, data gathering, and potential victory without moving a finger

2- The crows are manipulated not through genjutsu but through some sort of hierarchy, most likely prepared by itachi

3- These same crows and the unconvential way that the forest is, has to be a hidden pincer attack: he's intending to use the crows for a- attack me from all sides, b- let some crows in the peripherial areas and zones near my ftg network in order to neutralize me.

4- If i go back to konoha, this threat ontop of the crows will create many villagers dead, this'll likely destroy even more the manpower and increase the collateral damage exponentiatelly, i'm basically trapped."

Sensing the immeasurable threat Itachi posed, Minato immediately called upon the toad for natural energy, unlocking Sage Mode. However, his limited mastery of the art meant he could only sustain it for 60 seconds—one minute to decide everything.

At the same time, Minato activated a perfect barrier, formed from pre-marked trees scattered throughout the battlefield. Designed to neutralize the crows' interference, it was a testament to his mastery of fūinjutsu, conceived in mere moments under extreme pressure. A feat few could replicate.

Yet, even perfection had its flaws.

The barrier had no roof—a necessary compromise given the chaotic conditions.

And so, in the heart of devastation, with every move carrying the weight of destiny, a battle between geniuses was about to unfold—pure intellect against sheer adaptability, in a fight where seconds dictated fate.

I'm thinking of doing a fic where Naruto has the six eyes/Limitless, before even getting into this, it has some questionable tags for others, Shotacon being one, and it WILL be a harem it will be posted on ao3, where all tags will be visble.

Anywho, I think Naruto would make these eyes seem even more impressive than Gojo, firstly theres Kurama, he's automatically be able to fully utilize its chakra instinctively to its full extent. (Kurama is female here btw) he'd understand how any Jutsu works automatically being able to break it down upon first glance. It gives him perfect vison beyond byakugan and sharingan, because he can see chakra points, AND copy any jutsu.

He'd never run out of Chakra, and thanks to Kurama's insane healing potential, he'd damn near be unkillable, I'm sure theres way more that in missing, what do you guys think?

I have this idea that’s hovering in my head and I wanted an opinion if It's good or not

After the massacre of the Uchiha, the various clan leaders in the village of the leaf fear that they will be annihilated if it is convenient to the village and some are starting to think about making a revolt with the idea increasingly rampant. Some even secretly claim that they could use the Nine-Tails as a weapon but Hiruzen finds out through spies and summons Jiraya saying it’s an emergency.

When the sannin arrives the third leaves him Naruto, with a twenty-year-old Kakashi as secondary escort and tells him to take it to a safe place. He reveals that the Uzumaki clan has actually survived and is hiding in a secret underground village in the Land of Iron and is there where he must take Naruto.

When Naruto meets Jiraiya, to explain why they must go away he is revealed that his mother was the previous Jinchūriki, a Uzumaki and that on the day of his birth a bad man attacked and made the fox escape by killing his mother in the process. He is told that his father died that night after defeating the evil man and that the fourth Hokage had sealed the fox in Naruto as a last resort to stop it.

Although they tell the story as if Minato was not his father, They tell him that they kept the story of his parents hidden because they were afraid that evil people would seek him out for revenge because his father had many enemies but both his mother and his father loved him very much and gave their lives to protect him. The first part of the story focuses on Naruto who asks a lot of questions about various things, sometimes even about his parents, happy to have someone to stay with and Kakashi or occasionally Jiraya responds to him and that taught him some trick with Chakra.

After a three-month journey, going slowly to don't be discovered, they arrive at the underground village where they are welcomed and a kid Naruto is accepted immediately as he is also an Uzumaki (and seen with some reverence for his being a Jinchūriki by adults.)

I have finishes the whole anime almost 2 yrs ago. Now i'm wondering if i should start reading the manga or just take on some other manga?

Basically it's a generic CRA Story, where Naruto uncovers a Uzumaki Bloodline thats cool and powerful like Adamantine Sealing Chains/Furious Smelting or Swift Release or a Fucking Fuinjutsu Centric Dojutsu called the Inkugan. Whatever it is it's strong and Naruto benefits from it in the field, this leads to the Village putting him in CRA and telling him to get a number of wives. For any normal guy with the same powerful bloodline it would be easy, due to the danger of the world it usually leans 65/35 in women's favor when it comes to population numbers above the age of 20 and most male ninja end up in a Trouple or Polycule mostly of women. Unfortunately by spending over a decade dragging Naruto's name through the mud no one is willing to marry him (Hinata unfortunately has been strong armed into a political marriage/Betrothal by her father, in turn she is guaranteed the next clan headship and hence the end of the Caged Bird) Naruto struggles with finding women who he is compatible with and are willing to come back to the Leaf even though he primarily interacts with Enemy Kunoichi

Naruto flipped through the air and landed on top of a familar statue, his red and blue clothes ripped and tattered, his mask was torn and one of his lenses was gone, revealing his angry blue eyes as neon yellow and green bioelectricity sparked and pulsing green radioactive energy crackled around his fists together, a dangerous combination

His web-filters were cracked-useless now, and his slowly healing hands curled into fist

Fuck this war, fuck being a ninja, he never wanted that or to be dragged into this pile of bullshit, but here he was, just trying to be the hero

He glared at the madman across from him, Sasuke Uchiha, cackling with madness as his eyes glowed ominously, or with madness, the two go hand in hand in unholy matrimony after all

"I know you aren't Sasuke, I know you took over his body Orochimaru."

The cackling abruptly stopped and Sasuke's face went stoic before an ugly smirk crawled over it "Oh? I suppose if anyone would know, it's you, my thorn of a spider in my side! Always disrupting my plans, always getting in my way! Well I WON! I fooled everyone, and all it took was a little help from an stone making gauntlet! The only thing left, is to kill you! The little orphan with no talent!" Orochimaru leaped from the other statue and Naruto's head tingled, sending him information as he weaved around the sharp claw strike, his own fingers sharpening into talons as he struck, clawing through Orochimaru's face and sending him falling to the water below

Naruto leaped off, absentmindedly flicking out a hand and a green tinted web line shot out of his wrist and connected to the other statue, letting him swing down and slam both of his red sandal covered feet into the recovering Orochimaru's chest and sending him flying back before he got steady and cackled

"Look at the little spider! The boy that came from nothing, having no talent or potential, only having a passive resemblance to the Yellow Flash! What? You think having Chakra and these powers make you special? Please, child!" Naruto leaped forward, his internal alarms blaring as he moved but the snake predicted this, long having developed a read to his Spider-Sense and clocked Naruto in the face with a haymaker, following up with a knee to the back and then a double axe handle to his chest "Predictable!"

Crashing to the ground exhausted and defeated, Naruto could only glare as the snake stood over him, the wounds already healed "It's honestly a shame... You do have potential but you can't beat me, not in this state, or level but I'll give you a mercy, want to take it?"

Naruto got up and the only warning Orochimaru got was a slight twitch before the combination of bioelectricity and radioactive energy burst out and slamed into him, painfully

He screamed as he felt his skin bubble and pop, as the electricity continuously fried his insides, Naruto's only visible eyes glowing with crackling neon green energy "No! I'm not taking any deal, NOTHING from you! Menma is already getting patched up, I told him I'd deal with you, he doesn't know and won't know the truth, but whatever happens afterwards? I'm done with the Ninja act, so just roll over and quit! It'll save us both a waste of time!"

Orochimaru cackled through the damage being inflicted to his body and his right eye opened, bloodshot as the multiple rings pulsed "Well my boy, while I may die... You won't be around to see it..." A single pulse and Naruto was sucked through a portal, falling, hitting the wall and crashing into a dumpster in an alleyway, completely unconscious with his body completely exhausted and defeated

Orochimaru laughed as his life faded, as footsteps approached him and he looked up "Oh... It's you.... What a funny joke." The figure leaned down and threw something over him, immediately following with a harsh stomp to his skull, rendering him unconscious as they dragged him away

Basically, Naruto is civilian born, he isn't Minato's son or Kushina's, but he is bit by a very special spider, almost crafted for him specifically and doesn't like doing ninja stuff, he just wants to be a hero and well, Orochimaru in full control of Sasuke's body due to a certain Medusa glove from one of the movies, was able to do so and hid it extremely well, but he's not dead although he'll wish he was

And he did send Naruto to a different universe, one where he'll actually be able to be a hero

Ino didnt realize for a long time but she was actually just in love with Sakura and assumed she was jealous of Sakura being close with Sasuke because she liked Sasuke but in reality she was jealous of Sasuke because she liked Sakura.

Ino tries her hardest to impress Sakura but Sakura just swoons over Sasuke while Ino looks at her sadly. Ino gets armwarmers like Sasuke to impress her but Sakura assumes its to match with Sasuke. As they get older Ino realizes her feelings and Sakura develops a crush on her back and then they get together and live happily ever-after!

What to expect:

* new chapter every day ( currently has 45+ chapters). Each 2000+ words.

* There will be lots of fights, drama, and bloody scenes. I dislike overly happy endings and prefer when characters are not guaranteed to survive encounters.

* Kaoru won't be OP right away ( he might become very strong in the end, but dont expect overwhelming strength in the beginning). He will slowly become stronger.

* The MC won’t be a heroic or altruistic type. However, he will develop genuine bonds with both canon and new characters and some of those bonds might be so important that he would be willing to risk his life.

* There might be (most likely) romance later on, but only if it feels like a natural progression of his relationship with an opposite-gender character. There will not be a harem.

* I’ll respect canon characters and their personalities. That said, as the story progresses, I’ll introduce more original elements and may even alter or remove important events from the Naruto storyline. This is because the MC won’t prioritize preserving the original timeline.

That night he also saw in his dream the incarnation of sand for the first time.

“Yeeaaahhoo!!!”, shrieked the tremendous creature in delight. “The seal has weakened!! Now I can take over your—! Ugh!” A huge clawed paw stopped against a shield of sand, unable to crush Gaara right underneath, who woke up shaking and sobbing.

Wandering around aimlessly, Gaara cast his mind back to try to recall things that he could have done better. Father began training him when he turned 4, and it didn’t take him long to learn every jutsu. But whenever he felt panic, frustration or loneliness, the sand seemed to respond to his negative emotions and get out of his control. As a result, Father stopped teaching him how to manipulate sand with his mind.

Gaara stopped a few meters away from the front gates of the ninja academy. If he had been normal, he would have been on the other side of those gates right now. Like his brother and sister. Like every kid he saw chatting with each other about their senseis and classmates in the park after a fun game of soccer. If only he had been normal.

“Why can’t I control the sand properly?” Gaara crouched down and buried his face in his palms, lost in thoughts. “Why is my mind so unstable?” Tears streamed down his cheeks and fell onto the ground. “Why am I such a failure?”

A gentle touch on the left shoulder made Gaara jump. He turned his head and was met with eyes of the most calming blue. The boy had whisker-like facial marks and blonde hair brighter than the flowers of a desert marigold. Something about his affectionate gaze told Gaara he knew why he was crying.

“Hey, my name's Naruto, your name's Gaara, right?”

I read a fic on ffn a long time ago about Naruto going back in time to the second or third shinobi war. He’s turned into a kid again but is in anbu and is highly trusted by hiruzen who knows of his traveling. There’s a scene of Naruto drinking milk in the anbu cafeteria and talking back to the third and people freak out but hiruzen laughs it off. I think jiraiya and tsunade were also there and were shocked as well. Sorry it’s so vague but it was a long time ago, any recs are also welcome!

I read this time travel fic on ffn a long time ago so a lot of details are vague at best. Basically Naruto goes back in time (to warring states era?) and builds a cabin and freezes or puts himself in stasis. And then minato and a couple friends stumble upon the cabin, the seals around the cabin are released and Naruto wakes up. Hiruzen also has a tattoo of the time and date that he’s supposed to wake up. I think it’s a short fic, but I’d appreciate the help. If you know any fics similar to this I’d love some recommendations

I came up with a plot point in my fic where naruto does a vegeta style suicide explosion in order to take the deva path with him, but he manages to live through it, although he is severely weakened. The blast didn't disintegrate the deva path, so naruto uses the rinnegan rod to locate nagato before going to speak with him.

For context this is after pains speech and all that, but instead of naruto going full tailed beast mode, instead he opts for a final atonement style explosion.

I mentioned he had a brother named menma, as well as a few wives in the village, one of which is also pregnant.

Literally everyone thinks this dude is dead. Menma goes off to try and see if there was a chance to retrieve his body, only to realize it wasn't there, and his first instinct was he vaporized himself.

At this point the talk with nagato is over, and nagato still revives everyone.

Instead he goes to the hidden rain with konan in order to see just how bad the village is doing, and he finds out it is doing awful.

Some things were changed about the pain arc. Nagato loses both Konan and Yahiko. Some of you might be wondering, wait but I just said Naruto goes with Konan. She is the original Konan and Yahiko's daughter, and looks like a carbon copy of her mother with the only difference being she has blueish gray eyes, her hair is longer, and is more pierced up. She's about 18 years old, a little younger than Naruto is.

This is also why she goes with everything nagato says. He's the only father figure she has.

Nagato also entrusts konans safety to naruto.

(I have nothing against the Naruto and Sasuke ship, it was the most developed relationship in the show)

But the Naruto fandom was rabidly homophobic back then, in the early 2000s and one thing people who hated Sasuke would say about him was that he is "gay". When I think about it, I just don't get it.

Okay, he had 0 interest in women. But he spent most of Shippuden ignoring Naruto until the Summit arc. He wasn't having dreams about Naruto (like Naruto did about him), he wasn't having a panic attack over Naruto (Naruto did), he never fantasicized about rescuing Naruto (Naruto does after the Waves arc).

From the way he's written in canon, I feel like it's more accurate to call him asexual than gay.

But from the way the fandom talks about him, you'd think he spent 699 chapters obsessing over Naruto and not doing his own thing.

Wouldn't it make more sense to think Naruto is gay considering his behavior? I know he had a crush on Sakura, but he acted way more passionate about Sasuke (and even Gaara) then he did about her.

Also another thing people commonly did and still do is saying how he's "feminine" lol

Kurama decides to make a deal with Naruto. You want sight again live as a fox. Naruto can turn into a regular fox with sight or his human hearing gets to Fox level hearing. Sensitive enough he can hear the heartbeat of people and the motion of chakra in their systems.

Years of scorn and isolation causes Naruto to become shy and withdrawn. Despite that, he still manages to graduate top of his class and take home Rookie of the Year.

I've been thinking about it but what if the reason for fuinjutsu being so hard to master is because it's scientific yet also artistic in it's writing and "expression" for lack of a proper word? Like what if the reason the Uzumaki were so good with it is because they use it to express themselves like how in Undertale monsters use magic?

It's a tool they advance and rediscover with every new generation and they all have fun with the art of seals. They're completely opposite of everyone else who uses it like a tool- fully scientific and methodical, everything has to make sense and go in a certain pattern, there's some science behind every seal and to them some things just can't be done. Sure Jiraiya might find some way to do things you'd believe are very difficult and hard but nothing close to the Uzumaki and for anyone asking how Minato is so good- it's cause he isn't 100% science, he takes inspiration from nature and people like how Kyubi/Kurama inspired him to make the rasengan which was based on the bijuu bomb
