Looking for fanfics where Taylor flirts with women, or just an adorable romance with a woman...

I’ve seen multiple fics that put New Wave members into the Undersiders, and vaguely remember reading a fic where SS joins them. Is there any other stuff out there where one of the Wards (or Laserdream or Shielder) ends up in the Undersiders?

I'm looking for any good ship fics that have popped up within the past 4 or 5 months. Took a break from Worm for the summer, read a lot of Life Is Strange, and now I'm looking to get pack Worm with some ship fics to bring me back in.

As long as it's not OCs or self inserts, I'll at least try anything.

This week = the one that ends/ended right now, past seven days.

The reason for this thread's existence is the fact that both requests and suggestions can become kind of stale. It's supposed to bring out more fics that people are currently reading (or rereading), regardless of how old or new they are.

Also, not a rule or any kind of criticism, the more interesting part is not the list of the stuff you read, but your impressions of it.

In most fics Amy thinks that it's morally wrong for her to get paid ANYTHING for her healing. And usually Victoria thinks the same way. Which is insane, since doctors get paid (usually a lot) and so do most heroes. It's not like Amy's healing is effortless, she has to consciously perform every action, concentrate and get tired as any other person would.

I remember in canon she claims she's not getting paid because of underage labor laws, which is a very different reason. She expects to earn money once she turns 18.

I guess, I'm not asking about your personal moral judgements, I'm asking about both canon and fanon justification for that strange belief that's it's morally wrong for Amy to get paid at all.

Every time I read one it just feels like this. Taylor is rules lawyering to people who had no part in her getting press ganged.

It’s petty and ineffectual, if the goal is to piss off the PRT and get one over them, we already know she immediately fails at that because the PRT ultimately wins no matter what stunt she pulls because regardless of how annoying she can be, she’s not on the side of villains or a rogue complicating things for them. it’s over before it even begins.

Sure, piss off Piggot, and make the lives of your fellow wards just that bit harder and make your problems their problems, you petty asshat.

It's been a while since I saw something like that but are there 'new-ish' fics with Taylor that got 'forced' into the Wards, be it by PRT hardsells or Danny signing her up or whatever else, where she decides to use their Rules and Regulations too literally basically in a malicious compliance way?

The last ones I read in that regard where 'Just A Phase' and 'Pisces' but I thought I check here for more.

My OC has the Brute Power wherein if they get injected with a chemical substance, they'd suffer no unwanted repercussions.

In other words, the OC can get incrementally stronger by consuming all sorts of chemical substances ignoring their side effects.

What do you think of this power?

P.S. Some of those substances may give the OC a thinker rating by consuming substances that grants heightened perception for example. In other words, the OC may not be limited to Brute Powers.

I've been recently playing Skyrim and wondered are there any crossover fics with Skyrim. Could be the Dragonborn in Brockton Bay or Taylor as the Dragonborn in Skyrim/Brockton Bay.

I'd prefer a serious fic with the game mechanics as jokes, but Crack is also allowed.

Winman is Kidwins name when he graduates the Wards but I think it is a terrible name and from what I've sent, I'm not the only one who thinks so.

What names have you seen or thought of that would be better alternatives.

Edit: I know the Wiki isn't reliable, but I haven't read Ward and seen Win man mentioned in a fanfics as a bad name so I didn't think it wasn't real. You don't need to keep mentioning it!

I'm looking for a fic I read recentlyish, diverging at the hospital after the leviathan fight. Legend gets to Taylor before she can see Stalker unmasked (though I do believe the encounter with Amy happens more or less the same, but I could be wrong) and she ends up joining the Wards.

Pretty sure it's one that's been left dangling for at least a few years, but I could be wrong.

After rewatching Pacific Rim (a shame there isn't a sequel) there's been an idea running around my head for a one shot of a Jaeger facing off against an end bringer. Sure it wouldn't be a fair fight but who cares the sheer epicness from visualizing a 1v1 between Leviathan vs Striker Eureka had me rolling around in my bed like a slug laced with salt and it got me wondering if there are any fics like that out there.

So, what I remember.

-Taylor and Tattletales shards are both inserts.

-The main pov is from Insert!Queen Administrator

-Amy turned Dean into a girl and ran away from home

-Insert!Queen Administrator took over Deans and Trainwrecks shards. Turned Trainwreck into a slimegirl?

-Amy created a symbiote thing that merged with her cells, turned herself into a catgirl.

-Taylor, Slimegirl!Trainwreck and Catgirl!Amy all get nudged by Insert!Queen Administrator to go to fugly bobs. And there was a scene where Emma mistakes Slimegirl!Trainwreck for Taylor(they look similar apparently.) and starts to bully Slimegirl!trainwreck.

Im Fairly Certain that there was a Snippet Where in a effort to be more Efficient Armsmaster Starts Talking Like a Cave Man, he then makes the Wards do Hell Training and Manages to Get Vista Away from Her Shity Parents

I'm looking for fics with reasonable shard-based tinker powers on something that is still at least kinda recognizable as Earth Bet. Crossover is fine, but it needs to be translated into a realistic shard power, which means no weird head AIs (e.i. Tinker Taylor Builder Nexus), no discreet lists of completely blackboxed blueprints (e.i. A Cloudy Path), no doing bizarre OOC things for the sake of crossover (e.i. Flesh Is Weak), and no stuffing an entire franchise's tech into a shard with no regard for speciality. Also, kinda-tinker-but-not-quite powers like biokinetics are also fine. Ideally fics will have at least some focus on the R&D process and not completely gloss over it like something like Fault did. The gold standard here are things like Marionette, Tale of Transmigration, Seed, and LORD DOOM, I love these and want more like them.

Edit: Just an addition that Taylor and Brockton Bay are absolutely not required. Gimme your OC tinkers in somewhere weird like Cleveland!

Female mc, At least 50k words, if there’s a ship has to be lesbian.

Examples: Worm cyoa kitsu: the fic was mainly about the mc finding family with the dallons and deepening their bonds. Read about 250k words before the ADHD kicked in which is quite awhile by my standards

Savior complex: focused around an extremely toxic relationship between taylor and lisa

A fistful of cicadas: if i remember correctly it was focused around romance between taylor and lisa. Also in my top 5 coil takedowns. >!they had amy make a chest burster!< though i might have it confused

Legion: it seemed like it was going in that direction though i was looking for a combat focused fic at the time so i tossed it on my backburner. Might reread it.

Desperate times call for desperate pleasures: almost entirely focused on a mega toxic pillbug pairing with mutual mind control

Male Oc has ability to posses the dead. When he is possessing the dead the bodies “heal”. This allows him to save/revive the recently dead. He can possess the living but the living can easily kick him out. If this happens when he is doing a revive the body will stop healing and they likely die. Can do the possession from a distance.

in intro he saves, I think, glory girl from death. This result in him joining glory girls team.

From all the fics around I can remenber just one told by Leets pov

It is one where Taylor stumbles into Uber and Leet and in her first night. They are Fanon-nice versions of themselves, where they are no good-guys but are not bad either. They Record what they meed for their show and actually give Taylor advice before teleportung away.

Later they are approached by Taylor to help with Bakuda Related problems. They do not help for free, but they do agree to be somewhat helpful after Coil offers them a job to cause a distraction and they twist the deal to make the distraction be attacking the ABB.

This Leet is quiet unique and great becuase he is a nuanced 3 dimensional character.

1)His morals are a bit twisted but logical and understandable. 2) He is that perfect example functionally depressed that not many fics get right 3) his power is Explored better than almost any fic I have read. It is a pretty tragic power to get when you think about it instead of maoing fun of him for wasting it.

Does anyone remember the name of the fic where Taylor gets Hero's power, wavelength? I vaguely recall that she builds some sort of circular carrier-wave that holds her cell phone info and then a whole lot more. She gets attacked at home and accidentally kills someone who blew a hole in her house, has to call Panacea to heal her, and is declared a villain. I think most of New Wave are her friends and passively help her escape from, maybe Dauntless? I don't remember much more than that.
