Help Please!

Greetings from Canada! šŸ This is my family's 105 year old Carcano Moschetto Carbine that is recently took possession of and I am having a really hard time getting this old girl to run properly. The first two rounds chamber like butter considering this rifle is old and cranky at its best.. it's the last four rounds in the clip that double feed and cause all sorts of hell. So my question is: is this a clip issue and if it is where do I find good En Block clips? If it's the rifle, what my next move? Thanks so much in advance and God bless! šŸ™

M91/41 Restoration

Hi! I recently purchased a sporterized FAT M91/41, wood is in beautiful condition and the rifling is very strong, however the stock has been cut down just in front of the rear barrel band by a previous owner, and the rear of the receiver that catches the bolt upon cycling is slightly bent outwards.

My main concerns are:

  1. Are the stocks specific to the M41, and if so where can I find a replacement?

and

  1. Will it be safe to fire with the rear section of the receiver being slightly bent outwards? I would assume yes since the lugs still lock in nicely, but I wanted opinions

Need Help Identifying Carcano Calvary Carbine M38

I have a carcano calvary carbine, we think it is M38 or M91. (shoots 6.5x52) there's a bunch of markings: 1935-X1, F.N.A. (underneath F.N.A. it says RRESCIA and beside F.N.A. there is a crown marking.) Underneath the crown marking there is an "RE" and a horizontal S.

Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.

Redneck carcano scope mount

Iā€™m just testing the mount on a carcano Iā€™m not done restoring, but yes that is a ruger 10/22 barrel band at the front, Iā€™m sorry.

!!!!BE CAREFUL WITH STEINEL!!!

Was at the range testing the new steinel ammo I bought 134 gr brass with my m38 and had a catastrophic explosion. I had protection on so just some burns and a small laceration on my nose. At the ER now(waiting on tests). From what the range people told me the bottom of the gun blew out, stock cracked, waiting to hear back. Wanted people to be safe updates to follow.

I dont have a problem

The Italian side so far ! I'd like to move onto pistols, but honestly the carbines being as cheap as they are makes it hard to pass one up. Although I have to admit I didn't realise that I own 7 of them till just now lol.
