I have a bar stool i need fixed. Anyone know anyone?
Genuinely trying to understand why El Pasites have no sense of moral compass or respect. To give an example, I was trying to sell four rims. The first guy makes a deal with me, says he’ll be there that night, never shows up and doesn’t bother to text, and then the next day asks if they’re still available. I tell him I’m tired of having my time wasted. The next guy says he’ll buy them for $150, shows up, hands me the cash, and I count it. It’s $140. He says “Oh my bad bro that’s all I have on me, is that good?” After I say absolutely not and hand him back the cash, he Zelles me the $10 difference, then tries to carry the rims to his car without handing me the rest of the cash.
This is just an example but it’s one of a thousand. If an El Pasite agrees to meet you at a time and place and they can’t make it, they won’t bother texting you and just don’t show up. Everyone cheats on their partner and is somehow proud of it, and yet they’re jealous in relationships. No one keeps their word, and if you get in a car accident you’d better get their plates because they’ll speed off. I’ve lived in plenty of places that had shitty people, but I’ve never lived anywhere that had less good people than I can count on both hands. It isn’t a racial thing either, white people are just as corrupt and arrogant. The real kicker? They all genuinely believe El Paso is the greatest city ever because no one has seen any of the country further north than Albuquerque.
Tl;dr - I am trying to wrap my head around why this city is full of arrogant, lying, cheating bastards. Is it something in the water?
Anyone have any experience living in the Villa de Leon or La Mesa apartments off of North Mesa? I'm looking to move into an apartment soon and wanted to know if these were decent, considering the prices on them. The reviews on La Mesa are a little outdated, so I was wondering if anyone has had a more recent experience living there? Any input or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, to get into the coldplay concert next year at el paso, do I have to purchase parking tickets to get in? I know it is a very dumb question but it is my first time. Perhaps I could just get someone to drop me off and I don’t have to pay for them. Please give me tips and advices thank you.
I'm currently out of a place and need somewhere to charge my laptop and my phone other than my car. Any suggestions? Currently by east/central
Any good LGBTQ bars on Sunday?? New to town and want to go try some bars out?
Genuinely curious about this. I get that if you have an unlimited membership it costs you nothing extra. But also like, why? lol same for windy days. You will literally get dirty again once you exit. 🫠
$60 takes them both. Save $30 by buying them from me lol
A friend of mine said that he had got decent rates at teachers Federal credit Union, but that's now raiz. Looking at financing about 10K
They are fighting their hardest to stay alive and relevant, going above and beyond brirnging so much stuff I have not seen other malls do. They have a whole ass zoo lmao. Volleyball court, bigger food court than Cielo vista and two gyms, even a church.
You would think it would be a much better hang out spot than Cielo vista, since Cielo vista does not have half those things. Yet half the city is in Cielo Vista every weekend, even during the week is pretty packed.
I feel due to it's west side location, they should have went more with the luxury route. Focusing on bringing luxury and high end brands stores, as well healthy or foodie oriented restaurants that would cater to upper class clients. Yes EP is a working class city and you may think, these stores would not survive but we also have an influx of upper class people from Juarez and Chihuahua who come here all the time to spend money. It could have been their playground. Eventually the masses would of followed because we all know the middle class is going to try and fit in with the fresas and start shopping and hanging out where the fresa kids go.
I don't think the adult playground they are going for really hits in the west side
Had to put life on hold for a while for some family issues and now I’m just trying to get back out in the world. I’m from las cruces, 18M. Some of my interests are manga, reading, gaming and smoking weed. If you wanna smoke many it emits hit me up and I’m down.
lol
Hey Y'all, I really.. really need a job right now but I'm avoiding going back to work fast foods. Does anyone know if someone is hiring right now? I have experience in digital media but I'm not closed to something different.
Anyone have any mattress store recommendations where you can pick it same day?
Heading out to ABQ on Nov 10th for the show. Wanted to link up with other fans from EP and have a good time.
I’m looking to break out of my shell and explore some new hobbies around town. I’m interested in trying things like Tai Chi, skateboarding, gymnastics (especially handstands and backflips), poi spinning, or even rock climbing. If you have any recommendations for classes, local groups, or great places to start, I’d love to hear them!
Also, feel free to share any other hobbies you love and where you do them. Thanks in advance for helping me discover something new!
Are there any restaurants here that are similar to Flame Broiler or Waba Grill?
I don’t really care too much on the drive being further from me. I just haven’t found anything similar since being here.
Just sharing this event for anyone willing to come down. I'm not affiliated with them just wanted to let people know if they want to come on down and have nothing to do this today.

Free parking at the church next door.

I just recently won some gift certificates for the Union Draft House. We never been and not sure if it's a 21 over bar or any age can go. We were thinking of going there later today but was wondering if it's ok to take my two teenagers with us.
Please let me know, if anyone knows.
I haven't really attended these types of festivals, but I was thinking of going later when the parade starts, but is it worth it? Meaning is there good turn out or is it a bit....you know? I kinda just want to walk around and see the celebration, but is it worth it?
Update: Thank you to everyone. I went and had a great time. I like meeting and buying from local artists. Couldn't buy food from the food trucks since it was so packed but found a coffee shop on Mills Avenue that I enjoyed. Love seeing downtown become lively again!
Has anybody seen the Jumex hard in El Paso? Ive been wanting to try them for a minute but the website says there isn’t any in a 100 mile radius
Financially, what are some pros and cons of living in El Paso vs Santa Teresa?
Need some gym friends to go with. old gym friends all got different schedules now.
Is there any places here to listen techno ?
Hey hey, I’m looking to show my girlfriend around this weekend as she’s thinking about moving here.
I’m gonna take her to the movies, bar hopping around Cinci, and maybe catching the UTEP game on Saturday. I’ve showed her a bit of downtown, and the fountains area.
Any recommendations for cool events happening this weekend on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or any live music?
Bonus: any unique coffee shops on East, West, or Downtown?
